Classic eye wear for a great price. I was hesitant at first to purchase these being that I have a fairly large head, but they fit perfectly! I absolutely love them and recommend them.

These Ray-bans are "exactly like" the ones I bought 20 years ago! They fit wonderful and keep the sun out of my eyes!

These Wayfarers are much too pointy. I have a big head and I assumed these would look right, but the edges jut out well beyond the way they look on regular sized Wayfarers. I would suggest that you get the RB 4181 style if you want something Wayfarer-ish, but lighter on the nose, and more realistic on a day to day basis. Or just go with some 50mm.

Great looking sunglasses! Wasn't sure about ordering eyewear online, but with Zappos, there are no worries! Glasses look way cool, everyone wants them, I cant go anywhere without someone asking where I got them. I'm 6ft 1in, and not a little guy, they fit perfect! I was used to other eyewear with smaller lenses so they took a couple of wearings to get used to, but I do love these Ray Ban Wayfarers, the Original!

Ray Bans are wonderful and great sunglasses, but if you buy them, pray you never need them repaired! My lens cracked and chipped and needed to be replaced. I sent them back to Luxottica (Ray Bans' parent company) to be repaired, along with a check (which they happily cashed) for a service fee, and a letter with my mailing address, email address, and phone number asking to be contacted as to what the charges for the repair would be. I forgot about them for a few months, as it was no longer sunglasses season for me. Just realized that I never received them back, and called Luxottica. They 1st made up a story about sending me a letter by snail mail. when I asked when the letter was sent, the customer service rep hesitated and then put me on hold for 5 minutes. She came back and declared, actually, it was sent to you by email...this is after she had me re-confirm my mailing address because she told me the notification went out by snail mail. Bottom line, I never received any communication. Because I never answered the non-existent communication within 90 days, Luxottica discarded my expensive pair of sunglasses without even a 2nd attempt at contacting me. So, I paid them extra shipping to throw my sunglasses away. Now they want to offer me a percentage off a new pair instead of replacing my sunglasses. This seems like a gimmick to me to get me to buy a new pair. If you need your Ray Bans repaired, do so at your own risk. I'll certainly never buy another pair of Ray Bans ever again!

After contemplating sizes, I went with the Large Wayfarer in the tortoise. I read quite a few reviews (here and on other websites) saying these were bigger, but not overly large. Despite most of what I read describing these more for large faces/features, I went with it. I love a big statement. However, when I received them, I realized just how small my face was in comparison to these sunglasses. I have a round face with high cheekbones, so the frames sat on top of them… and it wasn't a very good look for me. These are great, but I would definitely agree with the majority -- these are ideal for larger heads/faces/features.

These shades are awesome. They are classy, comfortable and not very expensive. They fit perfectly! Zappos had a better deal than Ray-Ban itself. I would definitely recommend this pair of eyeglasses.

I've had a few Ray Bans within the last year or so. I can vouch and say that these are my favorite pairs. And I'm extremely glad I went with the bigger size to cover my face. The tint on the sunglasses are also pretty dark so no one can see your eyes that easily. With the other Ray Bans I've had, they were flimsy and didn't stay on my head and in fact stay good on my face. With these, I opened it out of the box and put it on my face without needing any adjustments. I can wear these any day of the week. Came in perfect condition with next day shipping. Will be buying my next pair of sunglasses through Zappos.

I order the first pair and the frame is not straight so I return and order the second pair. Unfortunately, their hinges are ridiculously loose. I can't believe Zappos send such poor quality product to customer. I am so disappointed!

This was not a quick purchase for me. I did a lot of research, purchased a pair of cheap knock offs and then decided I needed the real thing in spite of the price. I wanted that classic Audry Hepburn look and these definitely fit the bill. They are substantial without being heavy and the optics are crystal clear and really do the job of taming the sun. Did I mention the price was also lower at Zappos than other big name sites? I have taken good care of them and expect to have them for years. I love them!

And, just in case you're wondering, Zappos does sell 100% authentic Ray Bans Wayfarers (along with everything else). Not only did I contact Ray Ban corporate, who gave their full seal of approval on Zappos, but I checked every single thing on these Wayfarers that indicate fakes -- from the 7-layer barrel hinges, to the high-quality logos on the temples, to the laser-engraved RB logo on the lens itself, to the proper bar code label on the box, to the "K" next to the CE label on the inside arm, to the metal rod running through the arms themselves. I absolutely guarantee anyone questioning the authenticity that these are, in fact, the real deal.

Placed my overnight business-day VIP order late on Sunday night, and these glasses were in my lap before 11:00am on Tuesday. How's that for customer service? Amazing! Anyway, what can you say about Wayfarers? You know you've got a classic original when they're the only brand of sunglasses sold by Brooks Brothers. Say what you want about when Wayfarers are trendy or when they're outdated, but the truth of the matter is that they are timeless, can be worn by absolutely anyone, and are worth every penny due to how well they also shield out harmful sun rays, which is the entire point, anyway, right? Because Wayfarers are so universally coveted, they are also among the most counterfeited sunglasses in the world, so be sure you purchase from a reputable dealer! Nearly every online vendor selling these for less than this price are selling fakes. Go with Ray Ban directly, Zappos, or major, reputable department stores. Otherwise, your product will be of poor quality, and you will ultimately lose money replacing cheap fakes than if you just buy the real thing once! Finally, take care to order the correct size! There is the 47mm lens / 22mm bridge (small, mostly for kids), the 50mm lens / 22mm bridge (average, most common), and what I need, which is the 54mm lens / 18mm bridge (large). If you're like me, and have a larger head (I wear a fitted 7 3/4 hat, for instance), you need the larger ones to avoid a poor fit that won't quite look right. If you need small or large, you can't get them directly from the Ray Ban website, by the way. They only sell the 50mm version. While I prefer the original 2140 Wayfarer model, there's also the 2132 New Wayfarer model. These work best for those who don't want their sunglasses to pop out so much, and appear a bit more subtle. Myself, though, I love the original, time-tested style. To me, there is only one Wayfarer - the 2140.

When it comes to classic looks, the Ray Ban wayfarer is at the top of my list. I love sunglasses with big frames, very Hollywood! So I was concerned that the Ray Ban's would be to small. This pair, being the largest of all the original wayfarers, turned out to be the perfect size. Smaller than my other glasses, but still big enough to suit my style. Very, very pleased, they have a strong place in my sunglasses rotation!

These are great. I have a big face so these are perfect for me. Maybe a little bit on the heavy side but I think these are a great mid-price pair of sunglasses. If I sat on them, I won't cry about it. I bought a pair of Marc Jacobs sunnies for about 400usd and I just could not throw them around my bag. What's the point of buying something if you're scared of using them to their fullest, right? So I returned those. Anyways,love these Ray-Bans! Get them!

I ordered the black Original Wayfareres for my 21 and 19 year old daughters. Funny, I wore them at exactly the same ages back in the 80's. Anyway, the sunglasses came in two days, were in perfect condition. Just so you know, these are oversized Wayfarers that sit tilting in. the size might overwhelm a small face. Hope this helped.

My favorite sunglasses! I ordered these on Zappos after I lost them at Buca di Beppo. But I was so happy when I got these! I love the fact that it has a huge frame and it covers my face! Yay!
