The "New Wayfarer 55 Large" is my first pair of Ray-Ban's ever, and I couldn't be more pleased with them! I'm 6'3", 225 lbs., and my head circumference is approximately 23" (which equates to a hat size of 7 3/8). I have a difficult time finding sunglasses that don't give me a headache because most of them press against my temple. However, these don't. I've been wearing them consistently for two days now, and so far I'm headache-free!

Really cool sunglasses. 55 is definitely the way to go unless you are a child or have an extremely small face. I have a pretty small face for a man and they fit just right.

These are awesome sunglasses. Look great on larger heads/men. Definitely liked them more than I thought I would. Very attractive.

Great fit. Hugs your face without feeling tight or too snug. Only drawback with the tortoise is that it's almost black. Not nearly as light as the picture displayed.

I like these, I bought these. I have a bias, of course. Part of me wishes I had all black because these are a relatively specific look by comparison.

These were nice. They are for pretty wide faces so if you don't have that it will fall off your face and they are small lens.

I bought these for my husband and he loves them! I always have trouble finding sunglasses with long enough arms(?) to reach behind his ears (he is 6'6") but these are a perfect fit.

They fit a variety of different face shapes and are very comfortable according to my boyfriend who looks handsome in them!

Ray-Bans are Ray-Bans! They look great and are of excellent craftsmanship. I've never broken a pair; but I've lost many which was the reason for my purchase. So, to that end, I've bought my last four replacement Ray-Bans from one place - Zappos. I m using this forum to sing Zappos' praises. I appreciate an honest, customer-centric organization. They really understand how to run a customer-service oriented business! On top of that, they employ Americans! I appreciate speaking to fellow Americans when I call for help! They're friendly and they know the products! Thank you Zappos! All three five-star ratings are for you! I just ordered a pair of Allen Edmonds yesterday and am expecting it today! How great is that?!

These are NOT polarized lenses, contrary to what the Q&A for this product noted when I purchased them, so I am not sure if I will keep them. (Lenses that are polarized indicate so on the label on the inside of the frames, and they do a much better job of reducing glare.) Otherwise, the style is nice and the tint seems dark enough to be fairly comfortable on sunny days.

I got the "Black Rubber Frame" style - I was expecting a frame that was a little more flexible / comfortable than a traditional plastic frame. The black rubber has a matte finish (no shine, no reflection - kind of a dull dark gray/black), and a slight textured grippy-ness (not obnoxious like pulling your hairs out when taking them off). Even though these are 55mm, I would still need to bring these to an optometrist to have the wings/ears widened, because these do not fit comfortably on my large noggin (I'm 6'7", 180 lbs for reference). I'm returning these ones, and exchanging for the Black G-15X traditional style - they fit the same, but the semi-gloss finish, and polished frame surface is a better look & feel in my opinion, but I'll still need to bring them to the optometrist to have the wings widened a quarter inch for comfort.

I've bought cheap sunglasses for years, and always hated wearing them because they messed with the colors of the real world. I finally splurged on these Ray-Bans, and WOW the colors are amazingly true. Plus the lens filtering enhances contrast and definition. Super happy with my new shades. They do feel a little heavy on my nose, but that may be because I'm used to wearing only $4 worth of plastic.

Very cool glasses. They are really flattering on and I wish I could justify keeping them. I like the New Wayfarer style (vs the original) since it doesn't angle down into the cheeks. My issue with these however is how wide the arms spread out. They also slide down my nose almost immediately, especially once I start walking. I have other styles of plastic frames and haven't had them slide down as quickly as these. I tried the 52mm version and the lenses were too small for my liking. Sadly, I am sending these back.

Very sturdy glasses, high quality, very cool looking. Not very comfortable over wearing them for long periods of time.

Nope. Don't like these. The original Way is much cooler and a much better fit. I thought these would just be a larger version of the original somewhat like the 54mm, but the frame is shorter (doesn't go as far down the cheek) and rounder at the bottom. Nothing special about these at all. And they slipped a lot from my nose. Returning.

A great looking pair of sunglasses. The new wayfarers fit nicely on my nose, which can be hard to come by since I am Asian. Big complaint...Ray-Ban needs to get their quality control in order. The first pair I ordered had a lens that moved around quite a bit in the frame. Thankfully Zappos hooked me up with another...unfortunately, the second pair have the tendency to creak like crazy. The new pair feels like they are constantly about to break since they creak so much. Apparently this is a pretty common problem that has been discussed all over the internet. Also, all of the markings have already rubbed off the inside of the arms of the glasses.

We ordered this item, was charged and it's still says processing on my order which we never received.
