I am at what you call the beginner level so I do not have a lot of basis for comparison but these are comfortable, and I like them. They fit just inside the brow ridge. The strap does not need to be tight to keep them in place. The design allows for great flexibility across the bridge of the nose. The strap design works great with my long hair. One on top of the hair bump, one below. Once in place, the straps do not shift or roll. There is just enough shading to cut down on the glare in outdoor environments.

I have two pair of these; clear for indoors and shaded for swimming outdoors in the summer. Have used each perhaps a hundred times. What I like about them is that I find the wide flange around the eye to be more comfortable than narrower goggles. I wear them fairly loose, so they don't get uncomfortable. Outdoors I tend to need to clear the fog off once after a dozen laps if the weather is humid, but they're fine after that. They're decidedly unfashionable, but they work well for me.

I bought these for a swimming class and they were a nice fit. Decent, does what it's supposed to. My only problem was that they fogged up within 45 minutes.

Major fogging issue, also hurt my eye sockets when removing. I actually cut myself on these frames after being in the water for a while, I guess I softened my skin up too much? Also don't like how the design resembles the Chinese Summer Olympics Nest Stadium, kinda cheesy and not exactly hydrodynamic.
