These were perfect for my daughter’s school uniform

I absolutely love these shoes! I can sometimes require a 7.5. Falling between a 7 and 7.5, I decided to go with the 7. I can wear them with very thin socks without any problem. I think once they soften up, I can wear a bit thicker foot covering. I was able to wear these right off the bat! I didn't have to go through a breaking-in period at all. My foot is wide (hence sometimes a 7.5). These shoes have a roomy toe box, so the 7 worked for me.

I absolutely love these shoes! They fit/feel like Docs do - not the most cushiony insoles, but still supportive. The pebbled leather uppers are great and have a clean matte finish. Very happy with the value, especially with the sale price!

The sizing was perfect, I sized down like recommended. They are cute and comfortable work shoes that I get lots of compliments on.

I wear 10.5 or 11 women size. The size 8 UK fits perfectly. Once you break the shoes, which takes 1-2 days of wearing them, they feel better than walking bare footed

I referred back to my other two pairs of Docs and got a size ladies US 8. It fits exactly how the other two fit: great! I chose this style as I think that the softer leather helps them not be as stiff and easier to break in. While this is the case so far, I have had a little heel rubbing on my right ankle. But honestly, I think it's just right of passage when it comes to any pair of Docs haha looking forward to these becoming a fall/winter wardrobe staple

i really like these shoes, they fit relatively well with little to no break in, but that could be because i have very slim feet buttt idkkk definitely a 10/10 for me

My first pair of DM's although I have loved the look of them for decades. I just bought the double strap Mary Jane in pink and wear them everywhere. I spent 30 years in pumps, 10 years in trainers, and now that I'm retired and 71, I finally got my Docs. I love them!

Great fit, and strangely no break-in time needed.

I love my new Docs! These were true to size for me. I manipulated the leather a bit to loosen and soften them up before wearing them first time. They were comfortable right off the bat and I have no complaints. I’m so pleased. Love the style and I’ll wear them for years to come. The brown leather color is gorgeous!

I love Dr. Marten’s. I wear AFOs and it’s hard to find good shoes that the AFOs fit in, provide support and look nice. I also have a somewhat awkward gait and wear out shoe soles very quickly, but not with my docs. I have one pair going on 10 years and haven’t had to have them re-soled. The quality of the product makes them worth every cent I pay for them. I was so impressed with these that I also got a similar pair in black. I put everything as true to size as they are the size I expect for this brand. In general the shoes run a little big and wide which is why I love them for AFOs. They also have removable insoles in case I need more room for the AFO. I’m still working on breaking them in and am hopeful that the buckles become easier with time. The pictures on the website are an accurate representation of what you get. If you’re contemplating you first pair, bite the bullet and get them. They’re worth it.

DO NOT go by the sizing that they recommend. I wear a size 7 in EVERY shoe that I own. When my size 7s came they were more like size 9. I was going to downsize 2 sizes because they were so large, but my daughter talked me into just downsizing one size, so I ordered a size 6. They fit!!! You need to order a full size smaller than what you would naturally wear.

We had to size up, just to make sure there was some room to grow. We love the color & the style! We found them in a retail location and Zappos beat the price!

I normally wear a size 10 in women's shoes and these run big I ended up w/US 9

These shoes are very cute with jeans! I agree with a previous reviewer who stated that they look less clunky at home than they do in the pictures. I have re-ordered the shoes one size down ( a half size down was not available) as the fit feels very big to me. The material is a little stiff at first and the shoes were a little hard to get on my feet. There is a trick to working the buckle for adjusting the shoe fit - pull the metal buckle away from the leather strip. I before trying to adjust.

It was a solid size 11! I WAS PRAYING THIS WOULD FIT MY SIZE 12 based on the few reviews that said "felt big"...so NOW I BEG DOC TO MAKE WOMEN'S SIZE 12!!!!!

weirdly hard to put on. buckles are very complex to arrange, but they are so cute, its all worth it
