My son is 18 and works at Dunkin Donuts on the weekends. The other day he was complaining that his back was hurting him after having worked his Saturday and Sunday shifts. Both days he works 9 hours each. His shoes are cheap shoes that are specifically non-slip for this type of flooring so I decided to get him these orthotics to see if that helped. Today is Sunday and he just worked his two, 9 hour days in a row and he says his feet and back feel great. No back pain and he says even his feet and legs don't feel as tired as they did before. So happy with these. They aren't cheap but they are worth it. Hopefully they will last. I do want to mention that my son has very flat feet and he tends to pronate so I was worried that the firm arch support might be uncomfortable for his feet but he assures me they feel great. Also these run true to size.

I would say that these arch supports have more than moderate arch support, but not to the point of excellent or superb arch support. However, in saying that, they do give the arch support that I need, and they are comfortable. They are not the most attractive arch support, however, that is not needed, as they are hidden in my shoes anyways. I am hoping that this second pair of these arch supports, last as long as the first pair have.

I prefer the high, firm arch support of Birkenstocks. The Powerstep Original Insole replaces the original insoles in my Born and Clark shoes and provide arch support that is almost as supportive as Birkenstock. Because the front third inside the toe box is thin, they can be trimmed to fit almost any shoe. Folks who are new to high arch support should wear Powersteps just a couple hours a day, and over a few weeks, add an hour a day. After a month, your feet will be fully adjusted and you will want them on your feet all day.

I wear Birkenstocks because I prefer a firm insole with high arch support. However, a Birks insole is too wide for my Italian boot. The Powerstep Original insoles fit perfectly on top of the original thin and flat boot insole. The Powerstep has the firmness I prefer combined with very good arch support. The heel and arch area is very stable to protect against pronation problems. I am impressed that a foam footbed can come so close to matching the support of the Birkenstock cork bed. Powerstep will be my first choice for upgrading shoes that are too narrow for Birkenstock insoles.

I purchased these inserts several years ago and they have held up very well with regular use being switched around between athletic shoes, lightweight hiking boots, and snow boots. The arch support is excellent, especially for a low-volume insert. I ordered the Powerstep Pinnacle and Pinnacle Maxx inserts at the same time for comparison and found this Original style to be the most comfortable for my foot (wide, high arch, high instep) and shoe styles. Will definitely purchase another pair if/when these eventually wear out.

A lot of arch support--almost an aggressive amount of arch support, which seems rare among insoles, or at least those I've tried. If you need tons of arch support give these a try, but for a more moderate amount I preferred the New Balance QuickFit Low-Mid Arch insoles.

I am a trail runner and I have plantar fasciitis, tendonitis, and tarsal tunnel syndrome. I'd been using Superfeet green and orange inserts, which felt ok but didn't really provide relief. My podiatrist recommended these... not only are they supportive, they're also cushioning. My feet actually feel good with these in my shoes.

Buy your shoe size and you can trim the edges, if needed. The material is very comfortable. Many years ago, I had plantar fasciitis and my doctor recommended these, I have used them in all shoes ever since. They are great!

I wear a size 11.5 or 12 women's and I have a very narrow foot. I bought these insoles to try to fill in a pair of size 43 M boots so my foot wouldn't slip around, without taking up too much room in the toe. They didn't work for that purpose: they were a bit too wide for the boots and even though the toe of the insert is very thin, it was just enough to cause pressure on my toes at the end of the boot. And I could not trim them -- at least not to adjust the width. But, my husband slipped them into his size 10.5 M men's shoes and loves them!

The size is just perfect for my imperfect feet. I need the support for my arch and I add a bit of extra support for the ball of my feet. This is not my first pair and I am so comfortable with these inserts. The tough part is finding nice looking shoes I can put these in. So far I've only used them in sneakers and "old lady" shoes. But as long as my feet are comfortable, I'm happy. Thank you Zappos.

These are ok. There are definitely better options for the money. Do not get them if you are flat footed like me. The arch is so high it mitigates any comfort the cushioning provides.

Just enough support, not too much. Bought to help with mild plantar fasciitis, works for me. Not running super long distances but for everyday running, seem to be fine.

I put these in my mocassins that have no arch support and they really saved the shoe. I used to use them in place of the actual insoles in a pair of tennis shoes and that was great for walking trips. I actually found these to be better than those custom fit ones you can get once you stand on the machine at the drugstore (and those are a bit more expensive!). I would gladly buy more of these.

Foot Dr said these were great support. I would give them a 5 but the blue fabric starts to come off and roll up after about 2 years of use. I go a 1/2 up in my shoes to accommodate the Powerstep and usually have to take out the manufacturer insole as well. I had plantar fasciitis and have angle issues.

These are great insoles for people with fallen arches. You will have to adjust to them, as they are very firm inserts. After your feet adjust...you'll be comfortable and happy. I've been a long time customer of PowerStep insoles. Usually I wear the Pinnacle version. These originals are slightly thinner up front, to provide little extra space in shoe. POWERSTEP originals are good for your feet.
