Heel size - Heel size indicates 2" but was really 3" - I did measure. Lovely shoe, just needed a heel that was closer to 2".

Almost Perfect Fit - The Candra looks great and is one of the most comfortable shoes I have owned. The stacked heel makes walking effortless. I have a really wide foot, and these were almost perfect straight out of the box, except I needed more height in the toe box. I had them professionally stretched, to give more room in the toe, and now they fit like a glove. I love them!

Super cute, comfy shoe! Great comfy shoe! Stylish and easy to walk in. They are a little stiff when you first get them, but they became more comfortable. Also, the heel is a bit higher than I expected, but great shoe...

Immediate Comfort - Having never worn this brand before, I was really surprised when I put them on this morning to find that they are perfectly comfortable. While not the most glamorous style, they are very cute in a retro way and look very nice with trousers. I look forward to buying more Sofft shoes.

Almost! Not as comfortable as I hoped. Any high heel feels really high when you have short feet (size 6). This one is the best of the bunch that I have tried though. They are cute, but there is no way that I can stand in them for hours, or walk distances. They don't rub me like they do some reviewers, and the strap works well for me.

Sofft's Chandra - This is a gorgeous shoe! When I wear them, I get so many compliments. I am a teacher and I stand all day. By the end of the day, my feet are killing me...I usually wear Danskos, but I wanted something prettier. I can wear these for about 4 hours with no pain. I put extra cushions beneath the ball of my foot and that helps a lot. I also have bunions and the cut of this shoe hits right where they hurt. HOWEVER...beauty is pain and pain is beauty. Keeping all things relative: I plan on buying this shoe in other colors...this is the most comfortable heel I have.

This is a nice looking and fairly comfortable shoe. It's difficult to find a wide shoe that appears stylish, but this one does. It works well with both pants and dresses and has a good retro feel to it. My only problem was that the top seemed short and my toes were a bit cramped. They were fine sitting down & walking short distances, but uncomfortable walking through hilly San Francisco for a longer amount of time.

'40s glam but not as comfortable as I expected - This shoe looks nice but it isn't as comfortable as I would have expected from a comfort brand like Sofft. The interior sole is fine but the upper material of the shoe is fairly hard leather so it digs into the side and top of my foot. Overall it's more comfortable than most medium heels but I don't think I could wear these all day and still feel great at the end of the day.

Unbelievably comfortable - I usually cannot wear heels because of two surgeries on my foot. These, however, are comfortable enough to wear all day. The sole is cushioned and the strap keeps the shoe on effortlessly. They are not as sexy as a regular pump but they are cute with pants. I love the deep purple - it goes with everything.

These are so cute! I now have 5 pair of Sofft, and they are all I ever want to wear. I need a wide width, and Sofft fit so well! I do wish that Sofft would use a finer leather on the non-metallic and non-patent shoes because they look like obvious comfort shoes, which isn't really the look I am going for. Otherwise, I am 100% happy with all of my Sofft shoes.

This is a really cute Mary Jane. The rounded toe is still fashionable and the strap makes the shoe fit securely. It could really use more padding under the ball of the foot, but the heel is a comfortable height and I can manage to wear it all day. I bought purple, which is dark enough that I wear it instead of my black shoes.

Sigh, it's so hard to say 'no' to a dark purple shoe, especially after sensibly choosing brown and black ones all the time. One problem was that the back edge above the heel dug into my achilles tendon. Otherwise, they would have been comfortable and easy to walk in. Style wise, I agree with previous reviewer that the Candra's lines do tend to be on the clunkier side. I did not find them elegant but perhaps some might find them cute and funky. Kind of like a tap shoe. The dark purple is beautiful and tends closer to black in evening lighting. I normally wear a 7 and found the 7W a small bit tight.

I was looking for a dressier shoe to wear to work (I'm on my feet for up to 10 hrs. a day) and at first this shoe seemed to fit the bill. However, after a couple of hours the padding at the front of the shoe wasn't cushy enough. I've added inserts but, they're still not quite comfy enough for work. I love how the shoe look so I'll have to save it for other times. The quality of the shoe is great and the look is wonderful on. It seems to fit true to size.

This pair of shoes does run a little narrow. I ordered my usual size 6 M and felt it is too tight where the strip crosses my foot. Other than that, the shoes do look pretty and feel quite comfortable.

Nice looking - This is a nice looking shoe that has good arch support and is fairly comfortable. I like the solid heel (not too thin) but it is too high for me. I think I need a one inch heel instead of two.

Sofft's Candra - These shoes are beautiful but killed my feet. There wasn't enough room in the toe box, and after an hour my feet hurt so much. I have a friend who wears the same size but whose foot isn't quite as wide, so I will give them to her. I usually don't have this problem with Sofft, but I think the way this shoe is constructed is different from the others I own. The service from Zappos was exceptional. I ordered them at like 11PM and they arrived by 6PM the next day.

Adorable, but... Let me start out with the plusses of this shoe: It's extremely comfortable. The Plum is a rich, lovely color. The heel height is perfect, even for someone tall like me (5'11"). The style is attractive. The black patent trim is a nice touch. The price is great. The reason I'm sending this shoe back and won't be re-ordering this particular style is that I find that it bulges too much right around the top of the foot where the strap crosses. It's just not flattering. It might be corrected if I ordered a narrow, but I'm not convinced I would fit into a narrow. By the way, the width in the normal is just fine and not too wide or too narrow except in this area where it is too wide. I think if this strap was adjustable, it might not pucker, but it's not. It's too bad b/c it's a cute shoe, but luckily this brand has another style called Venessa which is also adorable and fits better. If only Venessa came in plum... oh well, good luck. And of course, Zappos is AMAZING! Thank you for being such a wonderful company!
