Opinions / reviews on hats are mostly subjective. But this hat seems true to size. It is also of good quality with a nice contrast colored quilting on inside. Five stars for comfort, style, fit and pattern.

This is my 3rd Brixton, and it is every bit as awesome as my other two. First, size consistency, for me, has been spot on. I own the Gain felt fedora, the Brood and now Hooligan, both in brown/khaki herringbone, all three fit very consistently. Second, the quality just simply far exceeds the price you pay. I could never bring myself to buy a Goorin for the sake of the quality you get for the price from Brixton. They look and feel like the real authentic hats my grandfather and his father wore because they ARE genuinely real, authentic quality. Oh, and comfort, 6 STARS!

Zappos always provides prompt and out of the ordinary service. My husband loves his hat and awaits a cool New England day to wear it. Sizing and quality are as expected.

My boyfriend was impressed at how well made this hat is. He has others in this style of hat, but not a Brixton. This one outshines them all. I love it, and love the way he looks in it. The large fit him perfectly.

I love the hat. I had ordered the wrong one of size and I wrote an e-mail and got a response quickly. It took about 4 days to receive the new size hat. I plan to order more items from them in the future.

I was looking to purchase a stylish hat that I could wear with nicer outfits. This Brixton fits the bill. My head measurements were 7-1/4 so I purchased the black herringbone in medium. The hat was a little snug at first and doesn't have any stretch panels and wasn't sure to go up a size but it has since broken in nicely. I find that I now wear this hat all the time. It goes great with any type of outfit. I get so many compliments on this hat every time I wear it. The craftsmanship is great and I love the silk liner in it. It's a nice touch. The hat does get a little warm wearing it but it's winter in New England right now so it bother me. I will definitely have to find a lighter weight Brixton for the summer. Overall I am extremely happy with this purchase and am looking forward to buying another.

Measured hubby's head 23 1/2 inches around, but he insisted on ordering a medium. Well, it fits perfect. Maybe I was measuring too high or too low on his head? But it 'sits' correctly and looks good. Nice material. No frays or strings. No poor stitching. Ordered the "Brood" also. Same thing. Nice.

Like this hat fits and looks good,not too wide, decent interior lining too, also own this hat in the gray/blk herringbone and prefer the gray color, my head is 23" and the medium fits great.

I love this hat. I get compliments on it all the time. My head doesn't fit all the one-size fits all hats that are everywhere so I got this one. I got the brown/khaki herringbone color. Looks good with Ben Sherman or Fred Perry button up shirt.

This is a great cap. I get lots of compliments on it. The size I wear is usually Large, but it was too big, and exchanged it for a Medium. Sizes might run larger than for other caps. Love the product, and would definitely buy again.

Love the hat. The first one (medium) I received was way too big, so I ordered a small . . . too small. Upon further inspection, it looked like the first was a return. Maybe the person who returned it tried to stretch it to fit their head(?). I ordered another medium, and it fits perfect. Zappos impeccable return department made returning the other two flawless. I will be buying a few more of these from Zappos.

Husband loves this hat.Fits well, not too tight, style/pattern is low-key and elegant, great for work or weekends when you don't want to wear a baseball cap. Thanks to Zappos for fast shipping!

I bought this hat for my boyfriend who will get dressed up for me once in a while, but then will top off his look with a dingy old Bruins or Patriots baseball cap. Completely ruins it for me. He said if I bought him one of these, then he would wear it but I was skeptical that I was wasting my money. Not only did he love the hat, but even asked for it in different colors to... get this... MATCH his outfits. The product is made very well, looks hand sewn whether or not it is, i'm not sure. I bought this in black, grey and brown and am extremely pleased with the purchase.

My husband wanted this style of hat, and I recommended this one. He is very happy with it and wears it every day. He bought it in black and brown. He says it is just as comfortable as a baseball hat, goes with almost everything, and looks more stylish and pulled together than his old caps. The brand Brixton, makes a great quality product. This is a a well made hat, that looks more expensive than what it costs. If you are on the fence - do not hesitate and buy this hat! It fits true to size.

Love this hat. Had one very similar for years and then lost it. I was very excited to find it here. The quality is top notch and the fit is a bit larger than I was expecting. Overall extremely happy with my purchase and I wear it every day.

Great style, ran a tad small for me so I'm ordering the next up and fingers crossed. I wear between 7 1/8-7 1/4 (7 1/4 Goorin Bros.) This was wearable but a bit snug, otherwise fantastic profile.

This is my second Brixton Hooligan from Zappos and the look, fit, and comfort of both are perfect. The first was the grey/black herringbone. This is a step up from baseball caps because the look is appropriate for casual wear any time, or a touch of class for "date night" with my wife. I especially like Brixton's quality compared to others I've tried on in stores. Cheaper driver caps don't have the same superior materials like the cloth, snap, and inside lining. Highly recommended. For me, the brown/khaki herringbone may be next. Brixton+Zappos = win win!

Was tired of wearing ball caps and have always wanted one of these. I wish I had not waited so long. Most days I wear it I get more than a couple compliments. Well crafted and comfortable as well.

Classic skully cap. I bought one for myself and a friend for his birthday. He loved it. It's nice. It has a dark red silky interior. My friend thought I spent a lot of money on it. I let him think that. And I love the herringbone. Very versatile & good for many occasions.

Excellent hat -- has been my go to hat for the last year. Looks great, feels great. Some people have mentioned sizing -- I have 2 of these caps and one is a little loose. The one that fits properly is of the twill and I think the heavier material makes the difference. Hat sizing never seems to be consistent. I like Goorin Bros hats but they always seem to be snug. So possibly people who can't find a Brixton that works could try one of theirs.

I bought this hat for my husband. He loves it and wears it everywhere. It is very well made. It is just what he wanted. We've looked at cheaper versions of the hat and they do not even look the same. The shoddy construction of these hats shows that it is not worth saving a little money. My husband has gotten so many compliments on this hat. Also dealing with Zappos is wonderful. They made everything easy. It came so quickly. I would recommend this hat to anyone who wants something that will always look good.

Good-looking, well-made hat. Now my wife wants one, it looks good on her too! Zappos Customer service is the reason I'm always satisfied.
