I bought these as an alternate to my Donnys. Just to have a light-colored sidewalk surfer. Just as comfy as the others and they are washable... just throw them in the wash and let them air dry.

Just purchased my Sanuks! I was looking for something comfortable and casual to wear everyday, even to work. If you want your feet covered, but like the feel of sandals buy yourself a pair (or two) of Sanuks!

This is my second pair of Sanuks, I also have a pair of the Vagabonds. They are both awesome. The Hemps fit a little tighter than the Vagabond, which takes away from the very free feeling of the Vagabond, but also makes the shoes more suitable for days when you plan on doing substantial walking (i.e. amusement park). I love the way the ends of the top fray with more wear. They are perfect for a casual work environment, where I wear them on a daily basis, and Sanuk offers other styles that would be suitable for dressier situations. They make a great conversation piece (people always have something to say about them) I’ll wear these babies until my feet fall through the soft supple foam like bottom... Buy them a size big!

These shoes feel the closest thing to being barefoot in terms of comfort. Great shoe. I'll always try to keep a pair of these in the wardrobe.

I love my Sanuck Hemp shoes/sandals. I was looking to replace an old pair of Topsiders that I wore when walking our dogs around the neighborhood. I didn't see a replacement pair of Topsiders that I liked. I saw the ad for the Sanuck Hemp shoes/sandals in a magazine. I decided to order a pair and I love them. Sanucks are designed to allow your feet to feel like you are walking barefooted and they live up to this claim. They are so comfortable that I wear them not only when I walk the dogs, but I also wear them around the house and when I go out to run errands or somewhere casual. As I mentioned earlier, when you wear them, it feels like you are walking barefooted, but have protection for the soles of your feet. I highly recommend them for this purpose.

I owned a pair of Sanuk Hemps in brown and loved them. While browsing the Sanuks here at the Z, I was pumped to find these guys. They are so comfortable! It feels like you're wearing slippers. Order at least a size up, as they run small. I wear 10 or 10.5 running shoe and wear an 11 in these guys. I'm already planning on purchasing at least 3 more pairs of Sanuks! They make you never want to wear regular shoes again.

Sanuk Sidewalk Surfers with Dr. Scholl’s gel inserts are beyond comfort. Looks good casual and easy on and off. They handle sand and salt water without a problem. I keep one pair for the beach, another for casual. They are hip style, looks great with shorts or jeans.

Great comfort, but a little warm -
These shoes are incredibly comfortable and look good. However, they get a little warm on the bottom and, occasionally, pieces of fabric break off and are kind of annoying on the sole of the shoe. Still, a great way to replicate the feeling of flip flops.
