The footbed of these are incredible, soft and squishy but still provides the arch support I need to walk/stand for long periods of time. Although I love the original Santa Cruz as well, they look great with cleaner lines that can pass for more formal footwear when I need the lasting comfort. Can't wait for the next improvement!

Peruse the reviews and examine the many comments that refer to the durability of the shoe at the big toe. I've purchased this shoe four times, as it's ridiculously comfortable, but I cannot do so anymore. The last Santa Cruz shoes that I purchased didn't last six months. Every single time, I've had one shoe (not both, oddly) wear out at the big toe. If I walked miles per day in them, over the course of several months, I could potentially understand that the shoes might not last. I do not. I typically use the shoes to walk around the house or the yard. I do find it telling that one of the two template "con" choices is "wear out quickly." Crocs apparently knows of the issue, yet seemingly relies upon fools like me to purchase four pairs before they finally learn their lesson. As I stated, the shoe is comfortable, even with the relatively new replacement sole (not as comfortable as the last one, but it lasts and is not as prone to odor. Crocs did a great job with this.) I do not like to simply complain without offering a solution to my complaints. However; the complaint, and its solution, is simple and self-explanatory. I cannot purchase again until I see that they have redesigned this. It really wouldn't take much time, much money, or much thought to do the right thing. I can only expect that it would serve the company well to treat one of its leading brands with the respect it initially built with similar quality and a fair price. The footbed is so comfortable, feel like walk on the cloud, and it looks good.

I purchased these shoes for me and I am not a picky boy but an adult women. These shoes are very comfortable and functional for my needs. I purchased these shoes because all the women styles are too petite for working in and the men sizes start a 7 which is too big for me.

I purchased these for my 7yr old grandson. He's worn them to school every day since New Years. He's really hard on them and the canvas is starting to wear thin at the big toe. On sale, they are well worth it!! I'd definitely repurchase these! They're perfect for schjool, church or just everyday!! Completely satisfied!! :)

Shoes looked great. However I got a blister on the bottom of my foot and I broke out in a rash from the fringe on the top of the shoe. I will not be wearing these again; disappointed because I was looking for an easy shoe to wear without socks in the summer months.

Through the last several decades I've never been able to wear a casual shoe without socks until this shoe...this one is perfect for those casual occasions when socks are optional.

These are the most amazing shoes I have ever had. I have no cartilage in my toes and usually wearing shoes causes pain with every step I take, these shoes are so light and supportive that I no longer have to take anti-inflammatory pills every morning to walk without pain. I have this style in 3 different colors so they match any outfit I have on and want to buy even more colors, I totally recommend these shoes to anyone with foot problems

Over the last 1-1/2 years I've purchased 4 pair of Santa Cruz slippers. I wear a pair virtually every day at some point and love them. They are the best for casual, comfortable leisure wear. When they get a little dirty, it is easy to wash them. I like them even more after a few washes. They probably will not win any fashion awards, but you can't go wrong if you live in a warm climate and do a lot of walking.

I purchased these shoes over the summer and was quickly hooked into wearing them all of the time. They are very comfortable and light. I am however highly disappointed that after only 4 months both shoes have a whole in the top above the big toe. While I love this shoe for the comfort, I don't think I could recommend it to others because of the lack of durability.

Bought these because I liked the look of them and because of past experience with Crocs. Went to Disney World in December and wore these every day. My son's girlfriend had a pedometer and logged how far we walked each day. Over the few days we were there, we walked over 37 miles !! In the past, I have suffered after the first day with other shoes causing my feet to hurt and blister. I never even slowed down this year !! I am a big guy at 6'2" and about 350 lbs and these shoes made walking so comfortable and enjoyable !!

This slip on is as comfortable as a house shoe and can be worn in a quick trip to the local market!

These shoes are so comfortable!! I wear them EVERYDAY. They are not only comfortable but stylish. It's great to FINALLY find a comfortable shoe that looks great. I have started buying them for my family (brothers and dad) because I am so impressed. I AM A LIFETIME CUSTOMER and will continue to buy these each and every time I run them ragged.

They all get a hole on top by the stitching by the big toe and long toe. I love the shoes but they get this hole too quick. It might be a strategy to sell more shoe.

Okay so these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn and that is very impressive. The footbeds are amazingly comfortable and soft.The price was phenomenal. The only thing that was rather disappointing was the fabric was frayed and I know that this is the style however A lot of the canvas that was frayed had to be pulled off and it was as if the entire fabric was unraveling.I finally ended up cutting off and burning the pieces to prevent further freying which is never a good thing to have to do when purchasing a new pair of shoes.

I want to thank all the people who put forth the effort to review products such as this. I try very hard to, so people can benefit from my experience. However... I know Nothing about buying mens shoes. ESPECIALLY BUYING FOR DAD. I knew from the reviews, for years, these were a winner... And got The XBoyfriend's Family Hooked on them.... However, I have wanted to buy for my Dad for a while, and I finally got them for him for XMas, full price, even paying extra to ship.. Dad , Very pickey, best at Everything he does... put them on, and said, "My God, These ARE GREAT" , and was VERY IMPRESSED (not a lot impresses him). He wore immediately. I said he could exchange, etc. . "No need, they are PERFECT." WELL. THAT IS PRETTY IMPRESSIVE. Gonna get more colors. Thank you Crocs. You have caught my Dads attention. . Not ez to do. FYI, I sized down 1/2 as as per reviews.. Choc. Color was much darker than I expected... Will get Chacki for him next..

He loves them! I bought a pair in the fall of 2013, love them, wear them almost daily when not in my boots. After a year in them the color has faded, but they are still comfortable!! I've torn the end of one on barbed wire (my fault). The stitching has NO rips, soles have held up great; were the one tore it has frayed but not torn any farther. My husband has plantar fasciitis after wearing sankus for a year, and in just a couple of weeks he can already tell a difference. If you wear a half size go up to the next whole size, they will stretch over time - just get them wet and let them air dry, it fixed mine. Love them and wish they sold the insoles for my boots!
