Love, love love!! The perfect clog.

As good as I remember from my high school days! Fits large so def size down 1 from the chart!!

I’m a Birkenstock fan and have been for 25+ years! I love these and wear them with just about everything. I’m a teacher, and wearing them makes my days a little bit happier! I’m between a 9 and 10 in shoe size, and the 40 feels perfect.

Really comfortable but a little bigger than expected so I fastened the buckle to the last hole and they’re perfect. Birkenstock FTW always

If you want superior comfort, warm toes and a shoe that will last for years Bostons are great. They are tough to style though but my poor feet are thankful to have the support they needed, after years of abuse in high heels and shoes that were too narrow for me. As a result I developed collapsed arches and Morton's neuroma in each foot and im only 32. Oh well i guess ill just dress like a little milk maid or a nerdy librarian hobbit. :) even though they seem larger its best for swelling at the end of the day.

Comfortable clog, I wear a woman's size 10 sneaker. I have a pair of Birkenstock Florida sandals (3 strap in leather), that are a size 40. This is the size I ordered in the Boston clog, even though they were listed as size 9 - 9.5 US or 40 EU size. These sandals are 31 years old, so I know Birkenstocks hold up well.The length of the clog was fine, but the clog itself was just too sloppy on my feet, even though I had the buckle in the tightest hole. The Boston oiled clog only comes in a regular width, at least on Zappos' web site. Width wise my feet are on the upper edge of medium, though depending on the cut of a shoe, sometimes I need to order a wide width. The regular width on the Boston clog is fine, once I figured out the correct size to order. I took a chance and ordered the Boston clog in a size 39 EU, 8 -8.5 US size, which would be approximately the size I would wear in a men's size shoe. These clogs are unisex. So, if you are a woman, I would suggest you follow the men's sizing guide rather than the women's. The size 39 clogs I ordered are a perfect fit, which rarely happens with my feet. They will take a bit of breaking in. The big toe on my right foot rubs a bit in one spot. However, from my experience with Birkenstocks, I know the leather will stretch some and soften up over time. The foot bed will also conform to one's foot, so give this some time. I ordered the oiled leather version of this clog. In the dark brown color (Habana), with the traditional foot bed. I prefer a stiffer foot bed. I also know that over time the foot bed will not be as stiff, as it conforms to my feet. These clogs have plenty of wiggle room for my toes, and my toes do not feel like they are in a vise, like some shoes that I have sent back. (I am very thankful for Zappos return policy!

Fit is perfect - just like my other Birks. The oiled leather is a little stiff, but should break in beautifully just as expected.

Love Birkenstock’s. I’ve worn them most of my life and never plan to stop. Well made, last a long time. These classics are the best. So easy to slip in to, wear with or without socks, and easily adjusted for a perfect fit. Birkenstock’s EU sizing is off by an entire size, always has been. I always thought my EU size was 38. But with other shoes I’m an 8 1/2 or 39. Birkenstock’s are perfect for me at 38.

This is my second pair of Bostons. I wear a size 8 and my old ones were 38s and they didn’t have any at the time so I tried the 39s (my recommended size) and they were way too big. So I ordered the 38s when they were back in stock.

I normally wear a W8.5; one of my feet is closer to an 8.5 and the other an 8 so fitting these wasn’t easy. I ordered a 38 and 39 and ended up keeping the 39. The 38 initially felt nice and fitted but after wearing them around my house my toes were hitting the front. The 39 felt like clown shoes when I first put them on but now they feel great. My foot is on the wider side so I needed the regular but if you have thinner fit and are between sizes try the larger size in narrow.

I now have a dozen pairs of Birks in a variety of styles, most with the original footbed and some with the soft footbed. It was a pair of oiled leather Bostons with the original footbed that started my Birks addiction. I have a guy's average width feet. The regular width Bostons are slightly loose on my feet, yet the regular width fits perfectly in the Arizona and London styles. Although ALL of my other Birks are a 43 regular width, the only Boston that fits me perfectly is a regular width soft footbed 44. The thickness of the added foam layer of the soft footbed provides a snug fit in a 44 regular while a 43 regular is loose on an average width foot. But, my loose fitting original footbed Bostons are perfect for winter. Thick wool socks keep them locked securely to my feet (and keep my feet toasty). Why do I like Bostons? They make great slippers on a cold morning. With socks, they stay securely on your feet while driving or while walking fast. They are comfortable for days when you are on your feet for 12 hours...perfect for teachers and hospital staff. The oiled leather is very durable. I just wipe off dust with a dry rag and wipe off heavy dirt with a damp rag. When the leather begins looking dry, just rub in a tiny bit of Red Wing Boot Oil. My three year old Bostons have character and look better with age. With care, an oiled leather upper will last ten or fifteen years. Resole your Bostons as needed and they will look great year after year.

They fit perfectly without socks. Bought them to wear around the house during The Great Pause - needed the psychological boost of wearing something other than house slippers now and then while still being practical. These fit the bill perfectly. This style of berks are pretty crunchy, nothing sophisticated about them other than the quality. Perfect ??

The fit was excellent and were ready to wear. The soft footbed is a departure from the traditional one and provides enough padding to reduce breaking-in period.

I have worn Birkenstocks for over 20 + years. I work in surgery, 12 hour shifts. My feet never hurt in the Birkenstock. If you have Plantar Fasciitis these will get you over the pain faster than any other shoe. I will advise new wearers that for the first three days you should wear the shoes for 4 hours only. This gives the cork time to mold to your foot. I can wear a pair for over 5 years before I feel its time for a new pair. So worth the $$.

I absolutely love the Boston Birks! I stand a lot at work and in these I could stand all day. They are super comfortable and have great support for my feet. I want to buy more in other colors.

This is the first time I have ordered from Zappos and I must say I am impressed with their service. I ordered the shoes late Friday night and received them Sunday morning. I also need to thank Zappos for offering a military discount. I really like the Birkenstock Boston because they provide good support and plenty of room in the toe box area. They take awhile to break in but they are very comfortable after that. In the winter I wear them like house slippers with a pair of merino wool socks. The biggest problem I had was determining what size to order. I did a lot of research on this topic and tried all the suggested measurement methods but no matter what method I used I seemed to be somewhere in the middle of sizes 40 and 41. My other shoes depending on type run form size 8 to size 9. I initially ordered a size 40 (size 7-7 1/2) and a day later ordered a 41 (8 - 8 1/2). Glad I ordered both sizes because it made it easy to decide what size was best for me. It turned out to be size 40. Zappos return policy made it easy to return the pair that didn't fit without any restocking or handling fees like other online retailers charge. Great job Zappos! You are now my number 1 choice for shoes.

The most comfortable shoes i’ve ever worn.Have been wearing Birkenstock’s for a long time.I’ll keep buying them forever.

I bought a pair of gizehs when I was pregnant with my first because my feet were always aching and Birks came highly recommended for support. Mind, I’ve never considered myself “crunchy enough” to wear them for fashion, but I totally fell in love with how comfortable they are. So I thought for fall/winter I’d try the Bostons. They fit exactly like the sandals (like a glove), and I cannot wait for the weather to cool off enough to wear them all the time!

Perfect for a zinging tendon from a previous injury. Birkenstocks are the only shoes that i can wear full time in comfort.

Birkenstock delivers again! After my last Bostons fell apart at the seams (only after about 15 years of wear around the house) I am so happy to have a fresh pair. Amazing look and feel. Will buy again . . . in 15 years. :)

gift for my husband. he normally wears a 9 or 9 1/2 shoe/boot and i ordered the 42, which he says fits perfectly. i also ordered the regular width and he says it fits fine. he loves them but since he normally wears boots he thinks his friends will laugh at him for wearing birkenstocks (but he doesn't care).

I love these shoes! They are awesome and a great value! I purchased them for work (I work in a hospital) because I'm on my feet most of the day. Another reason I purchased them was because we have a local show repairman that can resole them so it's like getting a new pair of shoes I don't have to break in again. I love that they can be resoled.
