Birkenstocks in general are an excellent shoe. One thing to note is that they do feel a half size big but other than that the oiled leather is the way to go. You don't have to worry about getting any stains if you spill anything on it like wine/dark juices/etc. Also you need not worry about the accidental scuffs that never go away, just rub the spot and you're good to keep on keeping on. One other thing to note it does take some break in time for the cushion/insole to conform to your foot.

I wear it all the time, I do not want to take them off. I work a lot standing and I enjoy every minute of it. I am grateful that they exist and I love this style.

Wonderful Shoe! I love these shoes. They're highly comfortable and recommend them to anyone who wants a good shoe.

Great fit for a narrow foot - Wearing a 12N before I found Zappos and narrow footbed Birkies -- clog style shoes were impossible! These are a great gray color perfect with casual pants. Subtle enough to go to the office with gray dress pants and a sweater. Superb customer service paired with a great shoe for the money.

Fit was questionable. The soles were very slippery. Something I've never experienced with all the Birkenstocks I've owned. Leather is very coarse, causing blisters. Quality is suffering.

I ran into some foot problems training for a half marathon this fall, googled the problem and realized it was probably plantar fasciitis. I realized that I needed shoes with better arch support to wear around when I wasn't running (since the cute little ballet flats I usually wear basically give me none at all). These were expensive, but cheaper than custom orthotics, I figured. And thank God, they work. Before I got these, it hurt to walk even in my sneakers. These felt like they were way too high on my arch for the first couple days, but it didn't hurt to walk anymore. Now they feel totally normal and comfortable and I am wearing them all the time while my feet recover. They aren't the most beautiful shoes, but wearing them with straight-leg or boot-cut jeans, they're covered up a bit and don't look completely horrible. And I'd rather wear goofy looking shoes and be able to walk than hobble around in pain in cute ones. Tip: order down a size, and order the narrow ones unless you have wide feet. Also, make sure to wear with socks because they rubbed a bit in weird places when I tried to go without.

Description said size was same as 8-8.5, but it felt more like 9-9.5. Item was obviously a previous return because there wasn't the usual packaging inside the shoes, and there was a large scratch on one of the shoes.

The inside of one of the shoes wasn’t made right. The part that goes underneath the toes was too far forward. It caused the whole shoe to fit wrong. I have several pairs of Birkenstock’s, and have never had any issues.

Shoe was obviously a return from someone else... inside sole looks like it has been worn many times. For the price ..I would like a brand new pair.

Received them and they look like there already worn and scuffed up. Very dissatisfied. Attached is a photo of how they came.

I was really excited to get these but right out of the box they were already scuffed up and had a crease. Then trying them on they definitely felt used. I don't mind buying used but not at full price. I did try to wear them and then the bottom came undone. I'm so bummed about this experience, I don't think I'll be ordering from this site any more. I would attach photos, but it says they're too big ?

The most uncomfortable shoe I have ever tried. Wide enough, but feels like you are walking on rolled coins.

The most comfortable clogs. I've been wearing Crocs for awhile, not wanting to spend that much money on Birks. But I'm glad I finally did. My feet are happy too!

I've been wearing Birkenstock Bostons for the last 25 years - absolutely the best shoe ever in my opinion!

The leather Birkenstock are always a bit stiff and 'hard' at the beginning; however, they soften up pretty quickly with regular wear.

Good arch support and stays on the foot well. Even with a narrow foot. The style is much more forgiving than the suede versions and they are so much easier to clean

Bought these for my boyfriend; he went down 1 size in EU sizing and they fit perfectly. Broke in quickly, comfortable, wearable summer/fall/winter. They've gotten popular with reason!

These are my new favorite shoes! I had a pair a long time ago and wore right thru them. I’m so glad I got another pair!

I love my Birks. Have worn them for nearly 40 years and have been through all the styles. These are my favorite of im mor wearing sandals but now, sadly, seem to only be available in the narrow width and with the soft footbed. I don't understand why companies have to mess with the old standards, but I think my Birki-love has come to an end. *Sniff*

Closed toe Birks to keep my feet warm in the winter. Birks are pretty much all I wear- because they make my feet so happy.
