I normally wear a size 8..the 8 was comfortable(so I thought) but it felt a little too roomy...when my foot moved to the front of the shoe when walking, there was significant space behind my heel. Just for the hell of it, I tried the next size down. (37). OMG. now THIS is how they are supposed to fit and feel! So comfy and they feel like they stay on my foot more snugly when I walk. I am overcoming my "shoe shame" of wearing Birkenstocks. I'm choosing comfort over cool. LOL.

I wore Birkenstocks thirty years ago as a college student at the University of Oregon. I've recently started wearing them again to deal with severe plantar fasciitis. So far, they are the only shoes that give my feet any relief. Also, I wear a size 8, but I find that with Birkenstocks I wear a 37, which is a full size smaller.

Where have you been my whole life? I never wanted to spend this much on a pair of clogs but I got a Morton's Neuroma and discovered Birks are essentially made for Minnesota. Well, I spent the money and now I never want to wear anything else. I consider these medical shoes, my pseudo-orthotics. I have not really done anything other than walk in them yet due to my foot problem, and they will suck for the winter, but I love them so much, that I just bought a pair of the Londoners...

Shoe fit true to size. However, arch was to far up my foot so it felt uncomfortable. Would love to own these, but the arch is uncomfortable.

I always wear a size 40 in Birkenstocks, but these are SO wide in the toe box. Unfortunately, the 40 narrow is shorter (they cut across my little toes). I sized up to a 41 narrow and it was perfect.

The fit of these clogs was fine; unfortunately the arch felt like a lump underfoot and was uncomfortable. I sent them back and ordered a different style.

Easy to return

I got apair that were just too big. It sometimes happens with Birks and Danskos, I have noticed. I may order these again in a week or so.

The fit and width felt the way they should. I have a wide foot and got the regular width. The only reason I gave a 4 star overall is because the leather seems quite stiff. I’m hoping it softens up with wear.

I like the habana color a lot, my only issue is that I have these in the suede taupe with the soft footbed and they are way more comfortable. The toe of this pair seems like it might take a decade to soften up. When I ordered them I went for the color not the footbed... I didn't realize the same color came in soft footbed for just a couple bucks more. My mistake but I do regret going with the softer ones. These are fine with socks but barefoot my toes get rubbed by the leather upper and I don't know if that will ever become softer since they are so rigid. I love the style though so I can slip them on with socks on the school run or whatever. Very convenient and warm. My only advice would be to consider the softer footbed and suede for more comfort out of the box.

The run about a half size too large. I usually need a 9.5 in a narrow shoe. I ordered the 9-9.5. I have to exchange, but they are out of stock now. I suppose I just wait.

My feet have been spoiled by Birkenstocks! Love the comfort even if they look a little weird.

So I got my usual size 39 which usually works since I have wide feet but I wasn’t prepared for the tight fit of the enclosed part. If you have wide feet you might have to go up a size just to get your foot in there all the way comfortably. I’m waiting on the bigger size hopefully it works out because I need good comfortable shoes for work.

Right shoe is wider on top than the left, reached out to Zappos about issue handle situation.

I wish these were available in narrow because the regular width seems very wide (to me). However they will work well with wool socks in the winter.

Arch didn’t hit right on my foot.

This is the first pair of Birkenstocks I've owned, friends have always recommended them, so I gave them a shot. I'm wearing them right now, and I'll wear them till they fall apart, but I wish there was an option to describe the arch support other than "excellent." I'd call this aggressive, evangelical, arch support. Not so excellent for my flat feet, in other words.

My feet are mens 10.5 and just exactly fit, possibly a 44 cm size would be better? Depends on personal preference at this point. Wish Birkenstock would make a 43.5 cm shoe ... I hope this pair of Bostons last longer than my last pair, which "only" lasted about 10 years of daily use until the glue failed that holds the leather uppers to the footbed. My first pair purchased in the 1980s lasted more like 20 years.

Fits loosely, but that's part of the style. These shoes are nothing if not relaxed. I'm enjoying them!
