Love the fit and feel of these tights. Work great under other pants to keep me warm when walking or shoveling snow.

I love the CW-X brand, this is the second pair that I bought. They are great for keeping the legs going on long runs (20+ miles), and are also great for recovery. My only tiny issue is that they slip down a bit, but nothing drastic. I suppose that most tights do this. And Zappos' service is A+ 100 as usual. I wish Zappos sold everything.

These are great looking compression tights made of strong material. I have run between 5-13 miles with them and my legs feel great. I wear them for after running too. Compression in all the perfect areas. I would definitely buy these if you run longer distances and/or just want post workout muscle recovery.

I love these pants! They are my favorite work-out pants now. They hold everything in snugly and look great on. They are tiny like a pair of panty hose before you put them on, but not to worry because they stretch so wonderfully and are comfortable, too. I feel better when I wear these pants for running and crossfit. I just ordered another pair of CW-X pants because I love these so much. I am 5'4, 168 lbs; I wear a medium.

These compression tights are great for running in coolish weather - 45-60 degrees or so. They are too hot for any weather warmer than that, despite the Cool Max fabric. I tried wearing them around 65 degrees and ended up running home to change because I was just too hot. Fit seems pretty true, although I feel like my medium needs to loosen up a little in the knees before I'll be really comfortable in them. I wish I could wear them in warmer weather; otherwise am happy with them. I have the insulated version for colder weather and really like those too.

I'm really happy with these tights. I had pretty severe ITBS while training for my latest marathon and these really helped support my knee and make my runs more bearable. Like others stated, they fit really snug. I'm 5 ft. 115 pounds and a size 0 or 2 in pants and the extra small was perfect. Give them a few runs to stretch out. The drawstring is a must, they do slide down and I find myself having to pull them up while running, especially if the drawstring isn't tight. They're loose in the groin area so I find myself adjusting them there the most. I suggest the long tights for winter, the material is so heavy, they keep you warm. I don't think I'll be able to wear them in mild weather without being uncomfortable.

I've had IT band syndrome since the age of 17, and I'm 34 now. I absolutely love to run, but I've taken up swimming (which I like as well) because my IT band has been so bad. I've been to at least 10 physical therapists over the years and tried everything. With my new job, I travel a lot for work, and there are not always pools. I absolutely must find a way to run since I can't swim all the time. Therefore, I bought these tights, and have already run in them a few times for up to 15 minutes with no pain. Just to address a comment below on a runner with shorter legs who found them full-leg-length and thought they might be capri-ish on longer legs -- that's not true, they just stretch! I'm 5'8" and mostly leg, and they go all the way to my ankles too.

Very tight fitting, but super comfortable. Massaged my legs all day. Wore as part of my Super Girl Halloween costume, but will wear for running as well. Ordered the XS and they fit literally like a glove! Not too long either, and I'm only 5'0". As always, LOVE Zappos superquick free shipping!

Love these tights. The first time I wore them was on a 12-mile run and they felt great! Also, my recovery time was much faster. I am 5'1" and weigh 118 so I bought small. Probably could have gone with the XS since these are a little long in the crotch.

I recently had knee surgery for a torn meniscu. Subsequent to my surgery, I tripped and sustained a hip injury. I bought the CW-X PerformX tights to support my hip and knee and to reduce swelling in my injured leg. I was so pleased with the performance of the tights that I decided to purchase two other styles of CW-X tights with greater support to wear under my work uniform. By the way, the PerformX tights look great with my short, black dress and my guy thinks they look sexy.

Overall these were a good purchase! I found them to be supportive while running, especially after I ran a long run a few days earlier and then put these on for a shorter run to test them out. I could actually notice the difference they made in my hips and knees. They are super breathable, and are great for fall/spring running. If you're hoping for something with warmth or wind blocking, then you really want the insulated version. The only negative is that the waist band is only about an inch thick and it digs in (I bought the correct size per the size chart). I wish the waste band was wider to help evenly distribute the tension around the waste(reason for 4 star on comfort). Bottom line, I would highly recommend these tights!

Immediately after putting on these pants I noticed a difference in my posture and alignment of my knees and ankles. They definitely help improve your form when running and exercising. The material does a great job pulling the sweat away from your body. These a easily washed by hand and dry quickly. Love this product. If you need more support in the abdominal region try the stability pant rather than the performance.

These pants are amazing, I thought they were a bunch of hype but every time I ran I was having trouble with my IT band so I thought I'd give them a try. These pants allowed me to keep running, they are awesome!

These tights have proven to be an incredibly worthwhile investment! They are high quality compression and fit like second skin. I have IT band issues and the banding provides phenomenal support and helps alleviate muscle fatigue. They are not insulated, so you may need to wear a loose outer layer if running in less than 20 degree weather.

My knees always hurt when I did the elliptical. I thought I'd give these a try, not really expecting much. I'm delighted! I wore them today and have absolutely no pain in my knees. I do have to pull them up more than I'd like -- but I suspect if I tied the drawstring, it would take care of that.

The CW-X PerformX Tights are amazing. The trick to getting them on is to put them on like you would pantyhose. I bought them to run the Brooklyn half marathon and I must say they saved my legs and my knees. 13.1 miles later, no pain or stiffness and a day or so later barely any soreness at all. I used them in the gym during my regular training and found them to be useful there as well. They are well worth the money, a good investment for any athlete. They run true to size.

Awesome Awesome!! I am 5'2", and a size 16. I bought these to make running less jiggly, on my mission to burn fat and improve fitness. I was concerned when ordering that I would never get them on, but they went on easily! I put them on exactly as you would a pair of nylons, and I did not even struggle. They do exactly what I wanted, which was provide support while not pinching or restricting. Very glad I got them, and intend to buy a few new pairs to celebrate when I reach my fitness goals.

Bought these for my wife who is a recent cancer survivor, training for the LA Marathon. She loves them and recommends them to all her friends, (we bought some for her running buddie too)!

I used the stated size chart and it worked well. I am 5'1 and hourglass shaped, with a nice booty (think JLo) and the small fit well. These are compression pants and are meant to fit with a strong tension. They take time to properly pull up and get the seams in the right spots, but once that is done they do fit well and how they are meant to fit. I could feel the compression while I worked out and afterward the compression felt great, really did feel a bit energized. I do both HIIT and weights every other day, and I wore these for those tougher sessions. They give just the right amount but you still feel surrounded by support. I am planning on getting another pair.

Taken up running again in my 50's, this support is nice to have. Ran in 40 deg F and rain good to go. 140 lbs 5'9" I decided on the M for what seemed like the 'right' compression fit. Length runs just a bit short and my socks show but not a problem as far as warmth, just looks. Not a fan of the drawstring which seems greatly oversizedand kind of obnoxiously in the way. Comfort for me was fine, after tugging up at knees crotch still sags a bit but that is best for me at my age so no chafing or 'CT' there. Only 3 stars for style because it needs MORE purple than just a thin line. They do inspire me to run more. Just feel good on, but I get them off asap after a run.

I am giving these a try for my ITB issues. So far they are OK. Not much different in my opinion from the CWX Stabylix tights. To me, these tights fit a bit different in the crotch area. They are not as tight and tended to slip down a bit. Nothing too major, but something my Stabylix tights do not do. These are OK, and will be my backup pair of tights until I get used to running in them more.
