I’ve had these boots since November and love them. They’re so warm that I wear them to take my dogs out on cold nights even if there isn’t any snow. The soles are very thick and have good traction on ice. The tongue is attached on both sides all the way up the calf and keeps snow out very well. My only complaint is that you can’t bend your ankles at all in these and it makes it awkward to drive in them. They fit true-to-size/a tiny bit snug, so don’t order too small. They warm enough that extra-thick socks are not needed.

Stiff in the ankle like ski boots, but roomy and warm---these boots make me (almost) wish for more snowy slushy days!

This is a great shoe and it runs true to size. Be aware that the shoes feel bulky and heavy until you get used to wearing them. Takes a couple of wearings to get used to the high boot -- especially at the back of the lower calf area since it's not as flexible. But, it has performed well in the surprise snow storm we had in Northwest Arkansas. (Six to eight inches is a big deal for us!) Waterproof, warm, etc. I also like how easy it is to tighten the laces. You don't have to worry about the laces falling out or have to adjust each section of the lace to get them tight. Just pull up on the laces and they tighten!

I bought these boots for a trip up north to play in the snow, and they worked great. They kept my feet very warm, provided a good amount of traction in the snow, and still felt very comfortable at the end of the day. I ordered the next size up to accommodate a thicker sock.

I love these boots, true to size. I had another pair of Columbia boots and wore them for ten years. This year they had a hole and I though Id never find another pair like them--not so these boots are just as good in snow and good traction on slippery roads. We have A GSD who needs to be walked every day. The boots are perfect...

These boots are great! I wore them snow tubing and was warm and dry the whole time. I ordered my regular size and they fit fine. I found no need for multiple layers of socks. I ordered during the holidays but delivery was still fast. As far as comfort, they are boots.

Thank you Zappos for my comfy boots. My first pair were purchased years ago, but lost last summer in a house fire. I liked them so much, I had to come back again to Zappos for another pair. The customer service people were so helpful and made sure I had them in time for a winter snow storm.

These boots were my 3rd purchase from Zappos. I literally had them on my doorstep 24 hours after ordering them. I returned another pair of shoes without any problem. Great service! About the boots, these are my 2nd pair of Bugaboots. My old pair lasted 5 years. They are a bit heavy & clunky, but they are great boots to wear in the snow & on the ice. I have worn them outside for hours in the snow and my feet stayed warm & dry. I would recommend them; that's why I bought another pair!

I love these boots. I bought a pair for me a couple years ago because my feet are always cold, but not with these. I just bought a pair for my daughter this year for Christmas. She couldn't wait for it to snow so she could wear them. I did order a size larger to allow me to wear a thick sock. These are highly recommend.

Great for outdoor activities, certainly not your city boot; it's too bulky! Perfect for icy as well as wet conditions. This boot will keep your feet warm, too warm in fact. Only wear high quality thin socks that wick away moisture from your foot. Style only received 3 Stars, since they are extremely bulky, which does not support a "normal" walk.

I selected these boots because I walk my dog twice a day, every day, no matter what the weather. I need a boot that keeps my feet dry and warm, even when there is heavy rain or slushy snow. I chose Zappos because I could order these shoes and, if I didn't like the feel, I could return them. Also, with Zappos, I could select just the right size based upon the European size, which has proven to be a better indicator for me. In addition, there is a detailed description of the boot's features, which really helped me in my decision making. When my boots arrived, I tried them on. They fit perfectly. Now I wear them during our celebrated rainy season up here in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

Best Boot I ever owned! Fit is true to size and are very warm, and look good on! Had a pair of Bugabootoos that split on the toe-these are a better boot!

Great snow boot - I wore these boots for a trip to the mountains, and they were great. We spent hours tubing, and my feet never even got a hint of cold. They were very comfortable. They are just a tad bulky, hence the 4 stars, but for being out in lots of snow and cold, they were perfect!

Boot review - I bought the Columbia bugaboot and they are very comfortable, true to size. I love my new boots.

Boots - Boots fit fine...they are a little clunky and heavy.

Winter boots - These boots are really warm. I wore them hiking with a little snow on the ground. They seem to run a little big, as I wear 5-1/2 to 6 in a shoe and my 6s in the boot are a little too roomy.

Bugaboot - I received these, they were comfy and kept my feet warm. They were a little larger than I expected, and are a serious winter boot. The "winter boot" look, like Sorrel's and the large appearance is why I gave it a 4 appearance, otherwise they seem great.

Perfect outdoor activity boot for winter! I needed a boot that could go from deep snow to mud pits to some trail hiking in the snow/rain/northwest foothills. This did it all and my feet stayed dry and warm (I have cold feet most of the time) I got a pair of Sorels and these, but when it came down to which to choose for the real activities, I chose these due to the soles. I took the Sorels back to the store. I'm so glad I did!!! I had to slip them on and off going indoors from out a lot and could keep them loosely tied to slip on and off quickly but it still kept out the cold and wet. I then took them on a 4 mile hike into the foothills while raining and made it up the trails with quite slick icy patches better than those without the great soles, but not as good as those with ice traction add ons. My feet were warm and dry the whole time. I got a bigger size and really didn't need them, but am able to put in my superfeet insole under the boot insole and it retains the warmth beautifully. Just need to take them out to dry when I'm done hiking.

Snow & Ice? No Problem! This is a terrific "Bugaboot!" The Seattle area had an unusually snowy, windy, icy December, but I was very confident that I wouldn't slip & slide wearing these boots. They're comfortable, warm, & good looking in a rugged, "mountain woman" kind of way! I highly recommend this boot! And Zappos' service couldn't be better!

Awesome boots - I ordered these because I was in desperate need of some winter boots, mainly to run around in the snow with with my dog, but also for just going outside after a snowstorm...LOVE THEM! I looked at a lot of boots before finally settling on these, and I am SO happy with them. They fit great...I did have to order them in a half-size larger than I usually take, but I am so glad because they fit perfectly, feel so secure on your feet and keep them nice and toasty! I just wear a pair of regular socks with them and my feet are dry and warm and very comfortable. Highly recommend!

The Best Winter Boot Ever - They look good, feel good, and are the best pair of boots I have ever had.

Great boots! Boots fit great and are SUPER warm. Can't walk too long in them on a hard surface though or feet get sore but can go forever on soft snow.
