Slippers, Not Shoes -
I wanted a soft moc that could be used as a slipper and still be able to step outside for an armload of wood or a quick check of the garden. The Suede Skimmer Moc was the perfect choice. Due to the lack of arch support it would never work as a shoe for me to stand or walk in all day. The reviews of others helped me make the good choice of one half size larger than I normally wear. I can wear the mocs with or without light to medium weight socks without the mocs being too tight or too sloppy. The dusty brown color is great and they brush clean easily. The sole is knobby and skid resistant. I searched a long time for slippers that would work inside and out; it wasn't until I considered mocs listed as shoes that I found the very best slipper.

Cute and Casual -
I first purchased these, my very first moccasins in a size 9.0 in black and was disappointed to find that they were much smaller than expected. I wear a 9-9.5 and I could hardly put these on my feet. So I returned them and got the 9.5 in dusty brown. The color was exactly what I was expecting - a medium brown color with dark brown bow. When I first walked around the house, they were extremely comfortable, but the next day at work they were kill-ing my feet. I never wear socks/nylons, so the leather rubbed against my knuckles and heel and I have sensitive skin. Today, however, they are glorious and aside from the fact that there is of course no arch which I expected, I am very happy with these. They have a great outer sole, very squishy with good traction. They totally don't look grandma-ish or hippy-ish to me as a 21-yr old. I wear them with jeans and natural accessories to pull the look together and make them hip & appropriate to wear to work.

Okay, so I bought a pair of these shoes 2.5 years ago and they were flippin' awesome! They were perfect for a wide-footed girl like me, because after the first couple of weeks, they perfectly mold to your feet (granted, the first few weeks can be a bit of a pain, but it's definitely worth it). Since then, I wore them into the ground, making them a little bit scruffy and dirty looking -- perfect for running errands and walking around the yard, but not really for much else. For a while Zappos didn't have these in stock but then in August I got an email that they were back so I quickly got another pair. Now, I don't know what happened, if maybe I'm not remembering how unpleasant the breaking in process was or if Minnetonka totally sold out because of their new popularity and cheapened the padded footbed that they use, but I wore them all day yesterday and by the end of the day, my feet just felt totally off -- I felt like I had absolutely zero support, which usually isn't the case with my old pair of Minnetonkas. I'm not sure if it was my problem or a problem with the shoes. I'm just suspicious that it may have been the shoes because they have a new stamped label on the interior of the shoe that my old pair didn't have. This just struck me as very industrial and I just wasn't sure how that reflects on the brand in terms of maintaining the individual quality of each pair of shoes! Overall, I'm really disappointed for now. Hopefully once they get broken in things will improve.

These run a bit narrow. I don't have wide feet, but these feel a bit tight to me. I love the style and the quality appears excellent. I wish I could find a shoe that looks like this but is just a smidge wider!

Cute shoe, but not on me. It is too tight in some places and too big in others. It does look and feel well made.

These shoes are really cute and comfortable, but they are way too wide. Additionallythey are so soft, they will probably stretch even more after they are worn. So, I have to return them. Unfortunately they don't come in narrow.

Decent Moc -
I like the look and the comfort is fine. The only problem is that the bow lace can move around. It doesn't always stay put, but overall I like this moccasin.

Run a whole size small -
Sometimes I wear a 6, but often 6-1/2. So, I ordered 6-1/2, exchanged for a 7, exchanged for 7-1/2. Wish I could say they are now perfect - but the lacing is very sharp feeling at the sides (knots are on the outside, but where the lace exits it is sharp). Is there a coating on it? Will it wear off? I bought these expecting to put my bare feet in, but I must wear socks or tolerate blisters there. If not for this, they would be fine.

The seams in the moccasin never stopped rubbing blisters on my toes. I tried to break them in slowly, but I could never stand to keep them on more than a short time. They stretched out somewhat, but those seams around the top continued to rub against my toes. I had to stop wearing them. I would not recommend them to a friend.

So cute...so uncomfortable. The seam at the top of the shoe makes it practically impossible to wear without major rubbing. And the bad part is, I wore them around the house off and on for three days with no problem. Then I wore them out to town, and within half an hour of wearing them, the joint below my big toe was rubbed raw. So, I can't return them because I've worn them out, socks don't help, and I'm not going to apply a band-aid every time I wear these shoes. Looks like I'm out the money. Nice. They really are cute, but terribly uncomfortable.
