These shoes, like all New Balance, are constructed well with a comfortable sole. The sole design provides excellent traction on mud covered, mossy and grassy hills with moderate steepness. Anyone ordering these will want to order these one width wider than their normal shoes. They did not require any breaking in period as they were comfortable right out of the box.

To any & all who read this! If you are thinking of making an order through this company, I just want to tell you that you can pick no better place to do so! You might just find a website that has cheaper prices on what you need, but please keep in mind that in the end, you can do no better than ordering through Zappos! You will never be disappointed with the products offered and the services they render. As for the New Balance MW605 shoes we ordered, they are perfection, both in price & instant delivery service! If, however, you need to return a product to this company, this too is done very easily! You will never be disappointed in any dealings you have with Zappos! Give them a try!

I do a lot of online shoe ordering as well as locally. I am on my feet all day with a lot of weight and stress on them, so finding a comfortable shoe is very important and also very difficult. I have worn New Balance in the past but wanted a change, a different style, so I have tried some of the other higher end shoes that have motion control, stability etc....After going through about 9 different pairs and returning them because either they weren't comfortable or the fit was off, I saw this style of New Balance. While not exactly what I was looking for, it was close enough for me to give it a try as I was running out of options. Long story short, it looks better in person, the orange on it is not quite as bright as in the picture. The shoe is very, very comfortable and fits like a glove. I have a wide (4E) forefoot with a narrower heel, so I just lace it up halfway and tie it with a knot there where it is comfortable and that wont move, and tie the rest of way and can make it tight at the top so it fits snugly around my heel, but comfortable in the wider area. Now after a couple months the sole really hasn't worn much and the shoe is still in good condition, so looks like it will last for a while. Even so I am about to order another pair for backup. Depending on shoes I wear anywhere from a 12 to 13, I ordered this in a 13 and fits perfect. Overall this is an excellent shoe for everyday wear, comfortable and looks pretty good too. Highly recommend.

Very comfortable and nice looking. The only issue was that, like several other similar New Balance low boots, they seemed a full size small. I generally wear a 9 in New Balance/Dunham shoes and sneakers, but needed a 10 in these. Now that I have the right size, they are great.

These fit perfectly and are sized correctly. I was worried about the orange being too much on these shoes but there was just a small amount of orange so I was relieved. They look great and feel wonderful. Zappos does such a wonderful job of getting these out promptly. Thank you, Zappos, you've never disappointed me.

My husband, being the difficult man that he is, has an especially hard time buying shoes. He took these right out of the box and tried them on and the worked beautifully for Mr. Cranky Pants.

Got these for my son, who has wide, large volume feet. He reports these are just great. We tried several other models in the "600\'s" of New Balance at the same time, but he said they felt too narrow despite being the same size as these.

My son requested this particular brand of shoes for Christmas. Couldn't find them locally or on the website he suggested. I had ordered from Zappos before with success so I looked here. Found the exact size and they were delivered two days later. Couldn't ask for better service!

Perfect for 4E feet - hard to find shoes wide enough for my son's hill tribe feet. These are perfect! They are wider and cushier than other NB models. Trust me, we've tried tons of shoes and most were too narrow (even though they were 4E). I'm so happy about these that I bought 3 more pairs in the next sizes up so I'll have them on hand for the future.

MW605 review - These are 4th or 4th NB shoes that I have ordered from Zappos. These were a little tighter than usual, but Zappos offered a larger replacement immediately. The larger size broke in well in about a day, and I have very happy them. -Ken

Happy with the shoe - Very comfortable shoe, I generally find most New Balance shoes to fit me. I use this shoe for trail hikes and for my work as a contractor. My feet are not tired at the end of the day like they can be with other, heavier boots.

Very light shoe - First, Zappos' shipping and delivery is fantastic! Best in the world, IMHO! This is a very light weight shoe, I bought the pair to wear to work and I'm very happy with them. Comfortable from the first day, no break-in period. Shoe is better than the description reads. Also, just read about Zappos' warehouse robots, a genius idea! Zappos needs to advertise this innovation.

Runs small and narrow compared to other NB shoes - These shoes were noticeably shorter and narrower than other New Balance shoes in the same size. I reordered in a half size larger and they were still a bit snug in the width, but they loosened up in a couple of wearings and are now very comfortable.

Great! Usually I wear size 9.5 but with this one I had to go 10 and I'm glad I did. Very comfortable shoe. I have had excellent success with New Balance. I am one whose feet sway a bit to the outside when I walk, thus, I highly recommend the right NB running or walking shoe.

Excellent shoes - Comfortable, good looking and good quality. They got soaking wet the same day under heavy rain, and after they dried like they never got wet.

NB MW605 - Starting to break these in-appear to be very comfortable, lots of support. Finding more and more that NB shoes are inconsistent in sizing and width in particular, though this one was pretty true to width.

Great Shoes - As with all of the NB shoes I have purchased, I have yet to be disappointed. I always tell people to get New Balance, now I can tell them where there is a good outlet for them.

Very good shoe! From the first time on this pair of NB's were very comfortable. It only took about a day and a half of work duty to have them broken in a little. Fit was good even for my narrow foot. Can wear these all day and then some. Thanks Zappos.

New Balance always the Best!! We always seem to find the best fit and comfort in New Balance sneakers. And they look good too!

Great...Great...Great...I don’t know how you could ask for more...and at a great price.

My husband and his flat feet... Okay, so he doesn't like the style as much as he liked his other tennis shoes, but he's got big, huge, flat pained feet and the New Balance 600 series are all that seems to work for him. If you have a picky foot, then this one may just work for you.
