Great shoe - Great shoe. They were comfortable immediately, no "breaking in" to do. I noticed that I walk straighter in them, cool! My only beef is they make noise when you walk, it is annoying! Not really a squeak, but more of a noise, each time you step. Other than that LOVE them!

Great for stability, really good look - Once again, Zappos has provided amazing service and a great sneaker. Good quality, sharp style. A little more silver than I expected, but I got used to it pretty quickly. I usually get a size 8M in NB, but needed an 8.5 for this style. Unfortunately I ignored earlier posts that recommended getting a half size bigger, so I had to return my size 8, but thanks to Zappos’ fabulousness, my return went smoothly and I had the new size in no time.

Good shoe - Good shoe. Helped with pain during walking. Runs a little big but not much. Shoe is a little clunky but probably due to it being a stability shoe.

Comfy, lightweight shoes - After owning a pair of heavier NB 811's, these shoes are relatively weightless. I wear custom orthotics and the toe area is a little large even after lots of room is taken by the orthotics. Overall a very comfy shoe.

Modifying earlier review after wearing for a while - I bought a 9-1/2 Narrow, and reviewed this shoe on Jan 14, when they were still very new. Now I will confirm that this is a VERY SQUEAKY, NOISY SHOE. (I know it's rude to type in all-caps, but that's how noisy they are!) Terribly squeaky -- as in, others will hear it and comment. I would not buy these again for that reason. (The squeak is internal, in the structure of both shoes... not the sound of the sole on the floor.) And this shoe does run short -- if you're considering it, perhaps order a half-size and full-size larger and try them all on. But when you try them, really walk around (inside) to see if they squeak. If they do, the noise will NOT go away with wearing; it will get worse.

So Squeaky! Loud! Will This Go Away?? I just got these and am wearing them around the house to break them in. They are so squeaky! Not on the floor, but within the structure of the shoe. I've never had a pair of shoes squeak like this, including my previous New Balances. Has anyone else experienced this and will it go away? I will have to return these if it doesn't stop. Very audible, embarrassing.

I liked these sneakers a lot at first. They weren\'t too ugly, so I could wear them out dancing. Wore them to a music festival, and discovered that they were awful, absolutely awful, for standing around in. Walking, ok; standing, horrible. \r\n\r\nToo bad, because they fit well (9D), and weren\'t as ugly as many similar sneakers.
