Most under-rated jogging shoe I have ever worn! Extremely comfortable, cool, with great cushion. Does exactly as claimed, keeps my feet from pronating and my hips from feeling even the slightest pain. Absolutely the best running shoe I have worn in 20 years!

Most comfortable shoe!!!!! I have been purchasing Ecco sneakers for a few years and I needed to replace a pair I had worn out. I decided on the RXP 6040 as it was closest to the pair I had. What a great fit! These shoes feel like slippers in comfort!! There is no downside here -- great fit without any high or low or sore spots. Arch support is excellent and the footbed feels wonderful. All I can say is that if you are considering these 6040's --- buy 'em!!

Ecco trainers - I buy Ecco shoes because they seem to fit my feet best and offer good support.

The RXP 6010 evolves... I love ECCO and probably ran 200+ miles in the RXP-6010 shoe. This shoe RXP-6040 is 90% the same as the 6010 but even better! The fit is the same but feels even more sturdy and comfy. The shoe gets better as it breaks-in. This one looks nicer and is perhaps slightly less weight. By far the best shoe I've ever run with. If you like stability, have a wide foot, tend to over-pronate and/or like the RXP-6010 model, then this is the shoe for you! As usual, excellent price and service from Zappos.

Yet again Ecco has crafted an excellent shoe. Comfortable with every step, I enjoy this shoe every time I where them. This is not the first pair I have owned and will not be the last. Some would say Ecco shoes are a little pricey, but I say if you want quality, then pay for quality. These shoes are made to last and they get more comfortable with every year.

First, kudos to Zappos for rapid delivery. I ordered regular shipping and they came overnight. These shoes are comfortable, but not the typical instant comfortable I've come to expect from Ecco. All of my Ecco dress and casual shoes were excellent out of the box. These may just need a little more break-in. Don't get me wrong, they're quite good, just not exceptional. I bought these for a trip to Prague where I do a great deal of walking, and they're already far better than a pair of Nike's that I bought that refuse to break in. I wear a 10 and these are just a tad large in length, but I'd rather have that than a tad small. Still, they don't slide on my heel and the width is fine. I tend to wear Top Siders mostly because the tops of my feet are very sensitive to normal shoes. These Eccos are fine.

Not even in the ball park... I had a problem with my Asics and decided to give the Eccos a try. The Eccos got returned immediately. Maybe if you are flat footed and need a wide shoe this might work. ZERO arch support, I wonder if those other people who gave 4 or 5 star ratings have even owned Asics Cumulus 10?

This is the worst shoe I owned in 30 years of running. This is not a shoe made for pavement. Use for off-road or in doors. They are a very stiff. It took about 6 runs before these heavy shoes stopped slapping the pavement. The heel wore out with in 300 miles. The rest of the shoe in good condition. A waste of money.
