I can't say much the others haven't already. I'm 5'11", 240, 44" chest, 40" waist. I got the XL. Fits fine through the arms, chest, and shoulders. It is cut slightly short, and the bottom falls right at my belt line. I wouldn't recommend it if you're any bigger around than I am. Probably 38" or smaller waist is best or you're gonna have to fight with the zipper. It's a bit tight at 40", even though it's still loose on the inside around my midsection a few inches higher. Fortunately the zip start fals right at my belt. If it was any lower, over my hips, I wouldn't be able to zip it.

Absolutely love the look and feel of this jacket. The brown is a really nice color and it fits really well. Very comfortable to wear. Very much like having a zippered inside pocket for security. Looking forward to wearing it on a fall trip to Europe.

I like this jacket enough that I recently purchased a second of this exact jacket as a back up if my first wears out! I am 5'10" and weigh 185 pounds, and wear this in a medium for a great fit. Note the style should be snug fitting. I have worn this all winter with a sweater under during temperatures below freezing and have been comfortable, note I was not out for extended periods, but from car to destination etc.

I have had this jacket for about 2 weeks. I really like the jacket. I bought it in the Espresso color, it is a very very dark brown (almost black) with a vintage look to it that lets some of the brown color show through. The stitching is a contrasting brown color and looks good on the coat and is very well done. The inside of the sleeves are a satin like material that is very slick and easy to slide on over long sleeves. The toroso part of the jacket and inside of the pockets are a micro fleece and is very warm.

I love this jacket. The color was true to the pictures. It is perfect for colder days. I am tall and planned to wear a long sleeve shirt underneath and ordered a large to be comfortable. It is roomy and a medium would have been fine.

Very nice jacket. It is surprisingly warm even though it's not that thick. It is easy to drive in also which is a complaint I often have with cloth jackets.

This is a very nice jacket. Bought it for my 18 yr old son to use as a lightweight jacket that looks nicer than his usual hoodies. It looks great, and the espresso color is very attractive. It is so dark it almost looks black, but it's not. We got the medium size and it fits perfectly, but it is definitely a slim/form fitting jacket. He is about 5'10" and 145 lbs and he can still grow a bit and fit, but like others say I would go up a size if you're in doubt. Kuhl seems to be a very good brand with an eye toward quality and style.

I got this for my husband. I love it and he does too. It looks stylish but has the air of a working jacket (think Carhardt). He is wearing a fleece underneath for colder days. The pocket in front is great for a cell phone.

This Kuhl jacket is very well made and is comfortable to wear with great style, wife likes it a lot. Good for mild Winter weather. Zappos was the only company that had my size, color and free shipping too.

I bought this jacket in brown last year not ever hearing Kuhl before. I love my brown Kuhl so much, I had to buy it in raven. It's just a nice, stylish, warm yet lightweight jacket with pockets in all of the right places. I love the outside chest pocket, its a perfect fit for my iPhone and case. In Richmond, VA this is thick enough to wear all winter and light enough to wear in late fall and early spring.

I like the style of this jacket. It is rugged and practical. If you live in a cold climate this alone will not keep you warm in the winter, it would require another layer underneath, like a hoodie or soft-shell. I live in South Louisiana and it is a perfect winter coat for our mild winters.

Perfect for the guy who gets too warm with a regular cold weather jacket. Definitely order one size up as this jacket tends to run just a bit small. Brown color is a really nice deep brown and washes nicely.

This is a great jacket. It is super comfortable, and makes a great outdoor jacket that you will not be afraid to get work done in. I bought the khaki colored jacket first. After trying it on, I loved it so much that I had to have another one in a darker color. The raven colored Burr is great for semi casual wear, riding a motorcycle, or just hanging at the beach. Buy it now!

Great jacket! I bought the black jacket for my husband, and he absolutely loves it. He like Kuhl products anyway, but he looks amazing in it.

This is a nice stylish outdoors rugged looking jacket that is built well. Outer material zippers and snaps are good quality, they skimped where the pockets and lining are concerned, smaller and cheaper.

Love the way this jacket feels and fits - except in the arms. As a 6'2" guy with an athletic build, everything fits great, but the arms are too short! It's a burden worth bearing though, since the wife likes the overall look.

This jacket is beautiful and seems very well constructed. It isn't too heavy or bulky but would keep a man warm enough in Fall & early winter for sure. Unfortunately, as other reviewers commented, it's entirely too tight relative to the size of everything else. Ordering up a side to get the correct girth would only result in saggy shoulders and too-long sleeves. Too bad this is getting returned for the snugness, as it's a great find otherwise. 3 stars overall, only due to fit. If you're a skinny 20 year old male, maybe this jacket is for you.

Overall I like the style of this jacket, the look of it with the contrast stitching drove me to it. But if you are looking for warmth, you might be disappointed. This jacket is light weight and is best used if layering over clothes for those cooler fall days. I would definitely recommend going up one full size from your normal jacket size because it is more of a slimmer fit. I also feel that the inside pocket should be larger, I had trouble trying to fit my billfold into it. Nice styled jacket, but for the price, I would expect it to have more insulation for warmth.

I like the jacket. I have a lot of other Kuhl products. I like the quality. This jacket was the exception. After one wash.. The lining started to fray and come apart. I simply returned the jacket to Zappos. No worries!

Why are the pockets so small? Can’t fit a phone, wallet or anything of any use. Useless. Returning jacket.
