This is the most comfortable boot I have ever worn! It feels like a sneaker inside - great cushioning and support. The shaft is a bit wide for my calves, giving the boots a bit of a clunky look, but they feel so great it is worth the fashion sacrifice! I ordered one size up based on the comments from others and they fit well.

I have both Dankso Tiffany (shortie boot) and Tori (slip on). When I saw this boot, I had hoped it was made on the same last as those two. I WAS RIGHT! This boot feels wonderful and was immediately comfortable. I usually wear a 9W or 9.5M - I ordered size 40 and they fit great with opaque tights. The very top 2" of the calf was a little bit snug and I had to pull the top of the boot around to close the zipper. Being leather, I’m confident the top will stretch as I wear them. If they came in other than black, I'd buy another pair! As usual, Zappos had my shoes at my door in two days.

Absolutely Fabulous! These boots are gorgeous, and worth every penny because of the comfort. They are perfect for a professional environment. Most days I'm on my feet, and moving, and these boots hold up; I end the day with no pain in my feet. I love the quality of the leather, the light feel, and the 3" heels, AND I've had tons of compliments. Zappos had my boots to me within 2 days of ordering. My favorite boot - This boot is awesome! I got them in brown and black, I like them so much. Extremely comfortable and fit like a glove. They even have arch support. I got my normal size and they are perfect, perfect, perfect.

Great Boot!
This is a great boot, very comfortable and has a very sleek look. I have a hard time finding boots that fit my calves, and don't make me look like I am playing dress up in my mom's boots. These fit my calves perfectly, with no gapping or extra space. I did go up a half size, based on other reviews, which seemed to be a good decision!

This boot felt excellent right out of the box. If you order, I would recommend going a size up because it runs a bit small. It is very easy to dress up or down. Great boot, wrong calves -
I really love Dansko's shoes, so after reading the reviews on this boot, I figured I would feel the same about their boots too. As other customers have commented, the fit on the foot is great, but the leather around the ankles was loose, (remedied by wearing socks folded down). The tops of the boot shafts were loose around my calves and down in the middle of the boot, there was a lot of extra material. My calves are too small, I guess!!

I really loved these boots - so cute, and extremely comfortable, as I would expect from Dansko, but I had to send them back because they were just too tight in the calves. The first time I tried to zip them up I thought I wouldn't be able to, but was finally able to get the zipper all the way up, but they were uncomfortably tight at the top of my calf. I don't have particularly large calves, but I'm a former runner and do have some muscle and shape to my calves. I hated to send them back because I really loved the style and my feet were very comfortable. The problem could be solved by extending the stretchy gore a little further down the calf or putting a bit more elastic in the gore. SO close to being the perfect boot, but alas, they did not work for me.

I'm sorry to have to return these boots. While they are extremely comfortable, they sag around the ankles. It's a shame because the fit on the foot is outstanding. I kept the Dansko Nevada boots, which aren't nearly as comfortable. I may regret my decision to trade comfort for looks...

Can't go wrong with Danskos -
I have 3 pairs of Dansko clogs so I thought I'd give the boots a try. These boots are the perfect fit for my small calves. I wear size 38 clogs, so I got the boots in size 38 as well. Since the boots are much more narrow than the clogs, they felt a little snug at first, but after wearing them for a day, they felt like the right size. I may have gone up a half size if that was an option, but these are only sold in whole sizes. The boots are pretty comfortable for having a heel that height. I highly recommend these boots if you have small calves.

Leather a little too shiny for me...
The leather feels nice, but I prefer something less shiny and the heel was too high for me. I love all my Dansko's, but not these. I sent them back.

I needed a boot that would look nice and put together and still be comfortable, because I walk a lot. This boot is perfect for that. I have very wide feet, and my feet never felt pinched. It's very narrow in the calf, though, even for me... and I'm very petite. I had to stretch the calves, and it's still a little snug. These boots are so comfortable that I wore them canvassing for the election for hours, and my feet didn't hurt at all.

I so hope that the Dansko designers listen to the reviewers and get the ankles right in their boots. You really cannot beat the comfort of the footbed in these or the Bellas, but the ankles are just too big. The 12 inch calf in the Tyra was a little tight at first (although I had no problem zipping), but I think it would have stretched and been comfortable. These boots would not be good for tucking in jeans, if you like that look, but would have looked great with skirts if the ankles didn't stick out so much. I returned them.

These are really lovely boots. I have a severe bunion on my right foot, and I generally need a pretty wide shoe. This boot accommodated the bunion without any problems. Unfortunately, I have to concur with other reviewers about the baggy ankles and narrow calves of the boots. I have pretty muscular calves, and while I could zip them, they were very uncomfortable. Much as I wanted to love these, they're going back.

I've been looking at these boots for a while and was ecstatic when Zappos had them on sale. However, I was disappointed when I tried them on and couldn't zip them up. The boot fit perfectly on my foot but I couldn't zip it up more than half way. I don't have a large calf but there was a good 3 inches at the top of the boot I couldn’t close. Too bad. They are great looking boots.

I love the fit of these boots in the foot part but the shaft is too narrow for my muscular calves. The 12" circumference would be good for a slim fit for slimmer calves. The leather is a little too shiny but they would be great if you have slimmer calves. I will return them. I ordered the Naot Tyra and will keep these.

I love Dansko, but I really disliked these boots. I don't have really large calves, but the boots were snug around the calf. Plus, they are overly slouchy around the ankles, not a good look. If you are considering these boot, forget about them. Trust me. I know my shoes and boots!
