I love these, have been wearing them a lot! I bought the black and find myself wearing with black Ponte pants and dresses a lot. I did have to go down .5 size and wear mine with no show socks. These are comfortable but after wearing for a full day my feet do ache a bit from lack of arch support.

Heed the warnings! These suckers run at least a half size too big. I am a true size 7 (never a 6.5 and never a 7.5). I was swimming in a size 7 with these. Just ordered the 6.5 - so we will see. That said, it is a super cute shoe and the sole seemed very comfortable.

I really wanted these shoes to work. They are so cute and I thought they would be fun for an upcoming trip to Italy. However, they are terrible for walking! There is absolutely zero support--just a flat, thin pad inside. I tried 3 different insoles trying to help them out but nothing helped significantly enough. Fit wise, I usually wear 7 1/2-8. The 7 1/2 fit well without socks.

I love these shoes because they are so cute, pretty comfortable, and high quality. But I have fairly narrow feet and they were definitely too narrow, and did not stretch out at all after two weeks of heavy wear. I would recommend ordering half a size up if your feet are even slightly wider than normal or between two sizes. The arch support is not great, but not terrible. Consider ordering a little larger if you need room for arch inserts.

After reading reviews I ordered 1/2 size smaller (8 instead of 8 1/2), however, when they got here my toes were bent inside the shoe, so I exchanged for 1/2 size larger (at record speed from Zappos!). The larger shoe seemed to be a great fit, so I put them on and wore to work to break them in, I can already feel the sides squeezing my pinkie toe. :( I could order a larger size, but then they would be WAY too long. I've noticed that international shoes are always a tad too narrow and these Italian shoes have the same issue. :( I can feel the blisters on my toes as I type this. :( Not sure why American's have wider feet (or at least I do), but it's a shame, I love these shoes but will probably note buy another par as I def wanted to before, esp with the new spring colors that came out!

A great pair of sneakers perfect for most daily activities-- they can be dressed up or down and they're comfortable and easy. They do wear pretty quickly-- I've worn my new ones just a handful of times and noticed that the top inside of the shoe supporting the backs of my heels (around the achilles) has already worn quite a bit. That said, they're still my favorite sneakers-- I will continue purchasing them again and again!

These shoes are super cute, but definitely run half a size too large. I am normally as size 8 shoe and I have a narrow foot, but definitely need a size 7.5.

I got this shoe in a size 7.5. This pair felt a bit looser than a 7.5 for a pair of Chucks. The laces are sturdy. The shoe fits best when the laces are tied in a criss-cross pattern. This is my main walking shoe and holds up well across all the hills and parks and beaches in the Bay Area.

These Supergas have a sleek casual look. They are a good quality shoe though the heel tag on the right shoe is misplaced--left of center. It's interesting how these shoes are laced in the pics which is the look I wanted but I could not find any lacing instructions anywhere for that look so it was a challenge to get there. I ordered my normal size men's 11.5 and they fit true; any adjustment would've had them too loose or snug. I have low arches and they are comfortable but I prefer them laced snugly.

I wear a size 9 and bought the 8.5 as I was concerned about the width being too wide. The 8.5 is a little short. I think the width is going to be a problem and will have to pull the laces tighter than I normally do. I am going to return these and try the 9.Not sure how the next pair will work out.

I normally wear an 8, sometimes an 8.5, this 39 was too large to be comfortable without a heavy sock. The color (Coral) was nice and they seemed to be well made. They are a bit heavy. I would have kept them if they weren't so large.

Based on the reviews, I expected better. I was looking for a durable and comfortable shoe for a 2 week trip around the Mediterranean, and knew that the best option would probably be an athletic sneaker with excellent arch support, but wanted something more stylish. This shoe was perfect when I first tried it on - good room in the toe box and seemd like it would be reasonably comfortable. Unfortunately, by the end of day 2 (that's right, just TWO days of wear!), the canvas material in the heel came unattached from the shoe, creating a very uncomfortable bunching of material, and exposing a somewhat sticky surface on which my socks would stick, causing them to "eat" my socks, for lack of a better term. I wound up having to just rip the loose canvas out of the shoe. If I had bought these at a discount store for $20, I wouldn't be surprised by this quality, but for the price I paid here at Zappos, I am pretty disappointed. There is no denying that it's a cute shoe that is versatile in terms of what kinds of outfits it can be worn with, but don't count on them for anything more than style; they're just not built that way.

Bought for commuting via train and mile+ walk a day. Not as comfy as running shoes but looks better so it's worth it. Wearing them today.

Classier than Converse and cute sneaker. Unfortunately, I did order down a half size and they are too short. I could see how they'd be comfortable and your normal size might give some wiggle room, stick with your normal size. They do run medium width for a universal fit but unfortunately, these didn't work out for me.

I took the advice of another customer and ordered a half size down from my true size 8. I can usually get away with 7.5 in flip flops and sandals. The 7.5 rubbed on my big toe so I'm exchanging them for the next size up.

Great style and comfort. The shoe get a little hot without a sock. Looks great with shorts or jeans. I added a comfort innersole for arch support.

Love the look of the shoes. I have a very wide foot, so I ordered men's . Still a little tight, but I think I can lace them different to help. The quality is 5 stars!

After reading all the reviews and even the recommendation on the manufacturer's website to order a half-size down, I was disappointed to find out that I didn't actually need to. I have wide feet, so I'm assuming this is for people with regular or narrow feet that would be swimming in these shoes otherwise. If you have wide feet, you will definitely not need to size down. I found the width was perfect for me, except my toes hit the end of the toe box. It's not bothersome, but we'll see what transpires once I wear them a little more. I got them when they were super-super on sale, so I don't mind keeping them.

Unfortunately, these have to be returned. These shoes might have worked if they were women specific and not unisex. They were just too wide for my medium width feet.

Runs really large and wide. I am generally an 8.5 to 9 in American sizes and I ordered the equivalent of a woman's 8 and it was floating on me. Style is still great and well made, but ordering another 1/2 to full size down.

Love them! They definitely run big though. I ordered a full size down and they fit wonderfully. Great for any look, comfortable for walking.

Unfortunately these shoes were a tight fit, hurt the tops of my toes. The bizarre thing is that I have the exact same pair in white and they fit perfectly. Other than that, the style of the shoe is great, very clean and decently good support for your feet. I would buy another pair again but with caution as I try and figure out what size will keep my feet comfortable.

I like the classic look of these sneakers. They go with just about everything. I wear an 8½ so I purchased size 39½. They fit fine and they are comfortable. My feet are not narrow, so I found them to fit fine across the width. The only thing I don't like about these classic sneakers is the weight. I put these on the scale and each shoe weighs one pound! My Nike Shox sneakers weigh half a pound, just to give you an idea of the weight of these guys! I have high arches so I added some Spenco Women's inserts. The extra arch support makes a big difference. Overall, I would make this purchase again, but if the Sugerga people happen to read this review - Lighten them up, please.

After reading multiple reviews, I was torn about what size to order. I decided to order a 1/2 down and my regular size 7. The 6.5 was too short, 7's fit perfectly, so true to size. Good width, comfort is okay, on par with Converse.

I've known Superga for a long time. These sneakers are really beautiful, very comfortable, and stylish. I wear them with jeans, a skirt, a dress. Only one thing: the laces are much too short! And since they are dyed in the color of the shoe, I can't replace them.
