Sizing is a little bit weird... my feet are moderately wide so I went up in size and they were still tight in the toe box but the heel too loose even when laced tightly.

Hope the smaller ones get here in time

I really like this classic shoe. Many reviews mentioned that this shoe runs large so order down a 1/2 size, but my foot is somewhere in the middle so my usual size is a little big, but the 1/2 size down is a little short. But, I will wear this shoe on days when my walking is not strenuous or long. It is a classic remake of what we used to call tennis shoes, so do not expect a really good arch support.

These run small. I'd order a half size up.

Based on other reviews ordered a 38 - I wear a US size 8. Unfortunately it was too narrow at the toe. Liked the style but didn't love them enough to reorder, as I imagine the 39 will be too long...

I was disappointed in the arch support so I returned them but otherwise they are cute sneakers!

Runs larger than expected. I have a pretty narrow foot and figured a size down may not address that issue enough.

Versatile and super cute with shorts and jeans. A little heavy and no real arch support, but they are my go-to shoe for casual days.

I really like these shoes! They are great for a casual/sporty look. If you need arch support, definitely add an insole. Also if you plan on walking quite a bit, make sure you break them in first or put bandaids to prevent blisters. I had worn these a couple times prior to my honeymoon, but not for a long period of a lot of walking (think Rome and walking all over the city- we walked 70 mies in 2 weeks). I made the mistake of wearing these when we went to see the Colosseum and after about 2-3 miles and standing in line, I had blisters on my heel.

I am undecided if I will keep these. The size and width are perfect. I happen to have a narrow foot and usually wear 7.5 N in dress shoes, but size 8 M in sneakers with my orthodic inserts. I bought these in the 8 so I can wear socks and use inserts. However, problem #1 is that my regular, thin socks seemed to allow the canvas to rub on my baby toe of my right foot only. That would eventually cause a blister if I kept them. However, I put on a thicker, cotton, winter sock, and the problem disappeared. Buyers should know that the shoe is super cute, but it's basically a Converse, but perhaps heavier. the shoe upper is simple, flimsy canvas just like Converse. The base is rubber, like Converse, and does not bend - not in your hand, and not on your foot. You cannot stand tippy-toed in these as they will not bend. And that sole that doesn't bend is quite heavy when you hold it, but I don't notice the extra weight when I put it on and wore it around the house.

I always wear a 39, but this said 39.5 is 81/2 and I always wear 81/2. 39.5 is more like a 9 so too big for me.

Didn't like the glued in insole. Ripped it out and replaced with a gel insert

Classic Plimsoll that look good with just about anything. Have these in white. Only thing I’d say is that they’re not as comfortable as I’d like, and are on the heavier side. Other than that can’t beat these for $60.

Nice quality shoes but felt a bit too long. I'm typically a 9 med. Got the size recommended but felt a bit too long. Not sure this style is best for a woman my age. :0

I hope this review helps someone out there who knows their EU size and is conflicted by the size guide above. I wear a 38 in Birkenstock's but ordered a size 37.5 based on the size guide. I knew as soon as I picked them up that they would be too small. Order a 37.5 if you are usually a US 6 1/2 and a 38 if you are a US 7. Also, as far as whether the color of the soles are white or off white... I ordered the black ones and they came with an off white sole. I was actually expecting the soles to be white but it was a really nice surprise. I think the off white gives the shoes a softer look and pairs great with dresses.

$20 cheaper on Amazon. Will never purchase on Zappos again.

LOVE these sneakers! I have wider feet and have never found Converse comfortable and decided to give these a try. The fit is so perfect and comfortable, and I have had no issues with blisters/rubbing on my heel/ankle like with other sneakers. Will definitely re-purchase when I need a new pair. Took off one star because the white pair I ordered had a couple of stains right out of the box (on shoe and laces) which was a bit disappointing. The stains weren't bad enough to exchange the shoes, but I bought them new to avoid stains. Loved the fast and free shipping too, they arrived in less than 24 hours!

This is a good looking shoe. Fits about down the middle normal compared to all other brands I've ever worn. I use these for work, an IT guy that sits at a desk most of the day. They are not uncomfortable, but are not particularly comfy, either. They are a flat bottomed canvas shoe, with little internal padding. They are very similar to your classics vans style canvas shoe, but seem better made. I like them, but wouldn't want to spend all day on my feet in them.

I normally wear a 9 1/2 in sneakers, but saw the reviews that these run big, so I purchased the Euro 40 (US Women’s 9 per Zappos). They’re still at least half a size too big. The shoes themselves are cute, but I honestly don’t see what’s so special about them to earn them so many rave reviews. I’m returning them and will try white canvas shoes in a different (less expensive!) brand.

These shoes were super cute, and I really wish they worked out! I normally wear size 7 and occasionally 6.5. The size 7 was too loose for me, but the toe area on the right shoe was much too tight. Unfortunately, the sole also didn't feel supportive enough to wear as an all-day walking shoe. (I've had plantar fasciitis in the past, so I typically need more supportive shoes or inserts.)

The toe box was a little narrow and it ran a little small I’m usually a size 9 1/5 but would recommend a half size up.

I liked these shoes felt about half size smaller than other brands but very comfortable.

I loved the style of this shoe and wanted to love it. But the 40 was slightly too small, and the 41 slightly too large, for my usual 9.5 sized foot. Seems extremely well made and was comfortable aside from the length. Going to try other brands. Zappos service was awesome as usual.

the shoes are super cute but I got them and they ran huge so I had a major temper tantrum if you're impatient and too lazy to do returns make sure to order a smaller size ( I'm a 6.5 ) and usually order a 7 because I think a 6.5 looks weird with my height but they were like clown shoes

When I first put these shoes on they felt heavy but once I got used to them I can say they are the most comfortable shoes ever. They do not have arch support. I have Plantar Fasciitis and I do not get the pain when I am on my feet all day which makes me happy. I have not tried inserting arch support insoles but I am sure they will fit in well. I have ordered 2 other pairs from this brand and they are just as comfortable.
