I really wanted to love these?. I first ordered Zappos recommended size and it was too big. So went to my usual euro size and the length was right but they were too wide (especially in the heel). I also thought they were super heavy. Style is awesome! I would certainly try them.

I’m not a huge sneaker wearer, but I recently purchased a maxi dress from JCrew which was paired with sneakers and I loved the look so I decided to get these. The sizing is way off for me. I am a true sz 8 and I got the 7.5 as recommended, but it didn’t work out. Still too big..I would probably need a 7 which might be too small.

I didn't like these at all. I ordered the 35 - was supposed to be equivalent to size 5 women. They were too big- especially the toe box. My feet looked like wide little boxes lol. They felt flimsy in the canvas and heavy in the sole. I'd need heavy socks to wear them. I don't even like how they look all that much. Ended up with Tretorn Nylite

I am usually a 36, and these fit great. Not much support at all. I bought them for a trip to Spain where we were walking a TON. My feet were killing me by noon. They aren't cushiony at all, and the soles aren't as thick as they look, so cobblestones were tricky and hurt my feet. I ended up wearing my running shoes all day and only wearing these out for short jaunts. I'll wear them around for errands, etc., but for travel, they are too skimpy in comfort.

I've got good news and bad news about the Superga 2750 COTU Classic. The Superga fit is roomier than I found with Keds. The style is minimalist and more streamlined than I found with Purcells. I would normally take a 39 but ordered a 40 to accommodate OTC orthotics. I wore these Supergas right out of the box with the orthotics for a five-day volunteer event and had no hot spots or foot pain. I was very happy with the fit, comfort and appearance of these shoes. Now the bad news. After wearing these Supergas during the event I developed a painful red rash on all my toes and along the tops of my feet where they came in contact with the seams of the eyelet portion of the shoes. These rashes turned into huge water-filled blisters. It looked like my feet had been burned! My doctor said I had an allergic reaction to chemicals used in the manufacture of the shoes, most likely an adhesive or a rubber accelerator. I've never had an allergic reaction to any shoes before. I've now read about shoe allergy and discovered that allergic reactions to chemicals used to make shoes like Supergas, Keds, Sperrys, and Converse are common. I've written this review as a cautionary tale to those considering Supergas who already know that their skin is sensitive to chemicals. Do your homework on shoe allergies and purchase with caution.

I have been wearing Tretorns, Converse, and other similar styles for over 30 years so I bought into the excitement I have been reading about these "Italian" shoes and bought a pair, even though some readers had written about the issues with width. The range of colors and fabrics was so appealing and now after buying a pair I find myself so disappointed in them and will not be buying any more. I will definitely be sticking with my tried and true Tretorns. Firstly, I laughed when I opened my package (which arrived in less than 24 hours, thank you Zappos!) and the first thing I saw was the "made in Vietnam" slip. I recalled all the comments from people who swore by these "Italian" sneakers that finally made it to the states. Regardless, today is the third time I have worn my Supergas and probably the last. I hate them. Maybe the people who love them have wide feet. Maybe they have never worn another brand of this type of shoe. I don't get why people are raving about them. They are so wide and I have them tied so tightly that you barely see any of the tongue of the shoe. This is not comfortable; the top of my foot hurts, while the shoe is still kind of loose/wide. I know some people appreciate an arch, which this shoe has (I really don't want an arch in my summer flat sneakers- but it is a personal preference), but because this shoe is so wide- it feels too much. I find myself untying and retying the laces all day long to try to make them comfortable, to no avail.

Super cute, and after several years of waiting for a cutie white sneaker to come back in style that's classic in appearance and mature without looking "old" for a mom who doesn't want to "dress like my school-aged girls" (i.e. Vans and Converse) this shoe is just what I've been searching for and finally found. However, I'm 5'8" and wear a 9 1/2 wide (preferably, when I can find it) and this shoe was huge! - well over an inch in the length and my foot swam in the toe box. Thankfully Zappos has a great return/exchange policy and I'll be patiently waiting and crossing fingers that a size down will provide a better fit.

I was in between sizes. It did not work out for me. They were super cute, but are not the most comfortable.

I love how these shoes look, but there is a thin cotton inner lining in the inside of the heel that wore out quickly and now they rub in the back. Also, my feet are pretty square and there is not enough room for my little toe on one foot.

These are not as comfortable as I have been told. One shoe cut my foot badly from a seam inside. I keep trying them because I really like the style. My husband's pair is very comfortable. Perhaps there is a difference in how they are made?

I love this shoe, but unfortunately for some reason (which I think may just be a defect shoe) my pair is very uncomfortable (but it is too late to return/exchange because I've worn them outdoors). My right shoe pinches my foot every time it bends when I take a step. Also, they are somewhat narrow. Such a shame, very cute shoes.

Kind of comfy, kind of heavy. They started falling apart after one week of walking around NYC. Not durable enough for every day city wear. They'd be better if you took them on vacation to the lake or something. Handsome shoes though.

It was comfortable overall, but something about the front of the shoe gave me blisters on my little toe and after 15 minutes it became painful to walk in! I\'d recommend getting half a size or so smaller than usual, as they are very roomy. I had to return it, which was a pity, because they were so cute!

Cute but heavy -
This tennis shoe was cute, but uncomfortable. Very heavy, and ungainly.

They look good and fit fine, but are also terribly heavy. Most importantly they have thick rough stitching inside of the heels which makes them super uncomfortable. Rather than wait for blisters, I returned them.

These shoes were ordered for travel. They are fairly heavy compared to others but the main problem was my heel slipping. The length was good for a size 7 but the heel slipped when I walked. I don’t usually have a problem with a size 7. I returned them.

These run a bit large, which would have been okay if they had not been so heavy. The inner sole is very hard and flat. Cute shoe but probably not comfortable for extended wear, so I returned.

These shoes run big, which was ok. But they are very heavy and have a very hard insole with no support. Not sure how they could be comfortable for long distance walking.

These shoes just didn’t work for me. I was disappointed because they are really cute! Most reviews said order half size down which I did. Too small. My toe was pushing against the front of the shoe. Exchanged for my normal size which ended up being too big. Just didn’t work for me but if they work for you, you will have a cute pair of shoes!

I was really excited to try these shoes. Unfortunately, they felt a little too big. I wasn't very fond of them on my feet either. Really wished they had worked out.

I'm not sure why these shoes get great reviews for walking shoes- they are terribly uncomfortable! They have ZERO arch support and are very stiff, there is no way I could wear them without socks, but they look weird with socks. They look great on all the models you see wearing them, but in real life they are very over-priced uncomfortable shoes. I do have large feet (usually 9.5 or size 40) and maybe if I had small feet and didn't need any arch support they would be ok. But likely not. Too bad because I was hopeful they would be comfortable for walking a lot while traveling.

This sneaker looks nice, however, feels snug in the toe, wide in the foot and slips in the heal. I wear between a 7 & 7.5 and neither fit me.

I loved the look of these, but they're short and narrow. I wear a 9.5 or 10, and I ordered the W because I'm always sort of borderline between M and W. They were too tight, with no stretch. I didn't try another size because they also didn't have a lot of give--just a big fat flat inflexible sole.

I bought these in red and was so excited to wear them. I usually wear a 6.5, and they are exactly that, with no stretch to them at all. They are also narrow, and do not stretch due to the fact that the rubber comes up the sides. I will probably have to give them away because I've worn them twice and have blisters on the backs of my heels and on my pinkie toes. They also turned my socks red! I am so bummed!
