The jury is still out -
I have been wearing these shoes for two weeks now, but am still undecided how I feel about them. I had to return the first pair which were a half size larger than my normal, for a whole size larger - I wish they would sort out their sizes, the European equivalents weren't right either. I wear them for an hour a day, in the hope of toning up my body, when walking my dog, and have certainly noticed increased muscle activity in my legs and backside. The said parts still ache, I'm wondering just how long it will take to become used to walking in them. I'd hoped they would get to the stomach muscles too, but haven't noticed anything there. I didn't read anywhere how heavy they are. Taking them off is wonderful, like removing ski boots! Ugly, heavy, expensive - they had better start delivering up the promised benefits!

Size misfit -
I have three pair of MBT shoes and I love them all...BUT this particular pair runs way small.

Not much in the looks department. I read about it in one of the Zappos digests and decided to try it. I usually wear 9.5, but I ordered 10.5 based on all the reviews I read. At first they fit well, but they have loosened up to the point where they are now too big, especially on my left foot. They take some getting used to, but except for the size issue, I like them. I also feel like my legs and hamstrings get a better work out while walking in them. I will buy them again, but will definitely get them just a half size bigger than what I normally wear instead of a full size bigger.

Not sure yet if I made the right purchase -
Well, I made the $250+ plunge to buy these shoes. Since my main form of exercise is walking it made sense to make the investment. My first (and so far only) walk in them was disastrous. The shoes caused severe blisters on my heels that has taken almost 3 wks to heal. I'm hesitant to get back in them again but I have to! I'm not letting $250 sit around for nothing. Anyway, I had bought a size larger and should have bought a size and half larger. They definitely run small, are stiff and be careful walking up/down stairs. The stiffness and rocking motion of the shoe make potential for a fall. I'm hoping these shoes will work out in the long run.

Cute shoe. Good premise. Bad execution.
I ordered an 8 (normally wear a 7). The shoe was quite comfortable going on, just like a nice cushy sneaker. However, it did not feel any BETTER than my Adidas or even my Skechers that I wear for knocking around town. Then I tried walking around the living room (carpeted surface). The shoes felt bouncy - like any sport shoe might. I did not really notice any of the so-called 'stabilization' features. I did notice my feet immediately underpronated in these shoes. Perhaps this is part of the stabilization feature but since I spend so much time trying to correct my underpronation, I'm not going to buy shoes that exacerbate it.

Good?-yes; Worth the price?--not sure -
I must agree that this shoe works more and different muscles than a normal shoe. I can definitely feel it in my backside! However the marketing hype seems unjustified. Although the rocker sole helps force a different gait, you still must work to optimize it. You can work to alter your gait in a normal shoe too. The footbed is rather hard, but the shoe is too snug to comfortably add a softer liner unless I wear very thin socks. It's heavy, and seems warmer than I'd expect of a shoe with a mesh upper. Unlike some people. I don't object to the look of the shoe (I have the green ones). I think it's kind of cool. I've gotten compliments.

These shoes are initially comfortable, however, they wear out very, very quickly, which is disappointing given the price...Also, I think it is important to note that these sneakers are NOT meant to be washed, which I don't think was made clear prior to purchase (at the time I purchased them). I am disappointed, because they are comfortable, and I like the look, but I'd never buy them again...

Not Satisfied -
I wear a size 5 and the first time I ordered I ordered my size, WAY TOO SMALL. I went to a shoe store and tried one on in a 5 1/2, it seemed to feel right, but they would have to order the color I wanted, so I ordered the 5 1/2 from Zappos. The shoes arrived in two days. I started wearing them and at first they were ok, but as the day wore on they feel like they are too small, too. I tried several times to wear them, but it feels like my feet are crushed into the front of the shoe. Now, I can't return them because they have been worn and I don't wear them because they are too small. I don't know how to find the true size and I'm not willing to spend money again to find out.

OUCH -
I am a runner. I run in the morning, but I have some friends that wanted to speed walk at night. I thought these shoes would give more of a workout. All they did was give me HUGE blisters and ruin the way I run. I gave them three different tries and nothing improved. This is alot of money for blisters and retraining my feet to run properly again.

Not very comfortable -
I bought these sneakers because of all the benefits they claim to have. I have never had sneakers that give my feet burning sensation until now. Wow, what a world of pain. I did not feel I was working out harder than usual, or that my posture improved. All I felt is an excruciating pain in my feet and a sadness about spending money on these shoes.

I had three pairs of MBTs that I loved but didn't wear very often. This summer I placed them in a cloth box (along with my other brands) and put them in the garage in very hot weather. The soles of all 3 MBTs melted and the shoes had to be thrown away. The other brands were fine. I hate to think what NBTs use on their soles!
I'd also recommend:
My other brands, including Sketchers, Red, Therafit, Avis were fine

I dont even want to give 1 Star
I dont even want to give 1 Star. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I have purchased 3 pairs of their shoes and only 1 pair did not fall apart. After 6 months of repeated emails they finally responded. I returned the shoes to Singapore with their promise of a refund and return credit. They now have my shoes, I have no refund or credit and they will not respond to my emails. They are a con, incompetent and completely unstrustfull. DONT THROW YOUR MONEY AWAY

Order Big -
I didn't realize I was supposed to order a size and a half bigger. I ordered a half size bigger and have huge blisters! They were a little snug but not uncomfortable, but after a long walk I developed blisters. I have a friend who this happened to also. An awful lot of money for unwearable sneakers. Why can't they adjust their sizes?
