Love, love, love...
I love, love, love my new MBTs. I was warned that the shoe runs small, which it does. I wear an 8.5 but ordered a 9.5. Perfect fit! I was told to wear them a short time until my legs and back adjusted. Once I put them on, I didn't want to take them off. For some it might require a bit of practice rolling from heel to toe but it is worth it. My job requires me to spend hours on my feet. If there was a chair nearby I would grab it, even for a moment. Now I find myself looking for excuses to walk to the office or run errands. I tried a black pair but they looked dowdy to me. I bought the white, grey, and orange style and they haven't disappointed, too cute. Spendy but so cushy and so comfy...I plan to order another pair.
I'd also recommend:
I would recommend this shoe to anyone who has ankle or knee pain.

Love these -
These shoes rock. I have started wearing them every day. I am less fatigued and can feel the difference in the strength of my legs.

The ultimate walking shoe -
Being an (older) avid jogger, I had decided to begin to do more walking. Surprisingly, I would get shin splints and hip pain after a 4 or 5 mile walk (something that I never suffered while jogging). I would also suffer from lower back pain after standing on my feet for hours. And then, I tried the MBT shoes (a birthday present from my sons). I walked for miles and stood for many hours while enjoying the annual homecoming event at my son's college. I had NO PAIN. I would highly recommend these shoes for anyone who enjoys to walk and walk and walk. I certainly could have used these shoes when I did the 39 mile Avon breast cancer walk a year ago!

These are fabulous shoes! They are a bit funky to walk in at the very first, but once you settle in you won't want to take them off. They run small, so plan a 1/2 size up for the right fit.

Surprised it fit!
I've always read that MBTs are snug so I really thought I would be returning them, but they are sooooo comfortable. And they really do give you more effective use of your walking time. One interesting plus is that if you have big feet, these make your feet look much smaller. Try them!

MBT M.Walk feels great!
This shoe was ordered one day, arrived from Zappos the next, and was extremely comfortable. I had already been wearing an MBT sandal and decided to go ahead and try this shoe. It feels very comfortable and I am able to walk all day in it (even with heel spurs and planter fasciitis).

Love em!
These shoes do exactly what the company says they do--the cause your postural muscles to activate more than in a regular shoe due to the unstable footbed (um, I should mention that I am a physical therapist). You need to use the shoe correctly--ie keep the middle of the sole of the shoe on the ground and not hang back on the heels when you're just standing. They're just lovely! My 12 yo son thinks they look cool, too. What a great workout you get walking in these---I absolutely love them. Did you ladies know that by strengthening your postural muscles, you decrease your risk of osteoporosis? An added benefit that the company doesn't mention! :)

MBT's Save The Day -
I broke my ankle a year ago, have osteoporosis, tarsal tibial dysfunction, over inward pronation on one foot and peripheral neuropathy-both legs. I have to walk 10 blocks from my parking garage to office, stairs at home, and these saved the day. I'm a shoe person, always wore heels before problems began, so I had a difficult time forcing myself to buy these, but I'm glad I did. Worth every penny, and my walks are now pain free. Zappos is so quick - I ordered 2 pair and got each the next day!

Awesome shoe! Teacher grades it 'A+'
I teach elementary Art, and am on my feet for every class--all day and then some on a tiled floor with a concrete underlay. I have plantar fasciitis with a spur, and a bunionette all on the same foot; then, an IT band inflammation on the opposite knee. I've been looking at these shoes for about 6 months, debating on whether I would ever spend that amount on a pair of shoes. But after laser pain treatments, NB diabetic shoes, heel cups, all the conservative treatments, shots and doctor appointments, and I still walk with some pain. Basically the stress over the upcoming year and dealing with more pain drove me to either buy the shoes, or buy rubber floor matting for my classroom! I ordered the shoes. After watching the DVD to learn how to wear them, I had a much better perspective of what to watch for, and how to walk. I visualized the walking in the sand, and if you do it right, that's what it feels like. With the shoes on, I took note of all the pressure points (I stayed inside, on carpet and tile as per recommendations to guard soles) and after an hour I wanted to take them out for a walk. It was a gamble, but it worked out fine...I wore them the rest of the evening, walking the dogs and around the house, practicing some of what I saw on the DVD. The next morning I had teacher training classes, and I had the most comfortable walk to and from, up and down than I've had in months! They're sort of bouncy, like walking on tires...if you can imagine that. My peers noticed the shoes, saying how nice they looked, and how comfortable they must be. One teacher wanted to know where I got them...he was complaining about his feet; I gladly gave him the info...and recommended Zappos.com to buy them.
My take:
After reading many reviews, I decided to buy a whole size larger; this worked out for me--remember to put your heel in firmly, then you'll see how much 'toe room' you have. Re-lace if necessary. I use an orthotic heel cup in my other shoes, but I haven't put them in these, and so far, so good. I also have high arches, yet I feel supported all around. Finally, if you don't watch the DVD to 'wrap your brain' around how these shoes are designed and their purpose, you are likely to miss the benefits, not to mention miss how to put them on, adjust, walk in, etc. The reading off of the MBT website and all the research is there for you, so if you ignore it, it's to your shame. After spending this much money, I was not going to give the shoes a less-than-thorough test, or put them on wrong. You pay the money, you need to do it right.

Second pair!
I have the white low walk and now I purchased these. I love them. But I did have to get a whole size bigger than what I normally wear. Keep that in mind, these shoes run smaller. I also have to say that I love Zappos and plan on getting a pair of the MBTs sandals from Zappos. Thanks for the great service and for the reviews on this site. They allow customers an ideal of what to expect from the shoes and the company.

At first I thought they were ugly...
But they grew on me! I love these shoes! I first tried on a pair that my friend had. I was amazed at how my posture changed immediately and I had instant relief from hip and lower back pain. I read several of the reviews and purchased my own pair with a grain of salt. I haven't had any issues with blisters, and the fit feels amazing!

Very satisfied -
I really enjoy this sneaker and wouldn't go back to regular sneakers. I can't say for sure how they are helping me since I didn't have any real troubles with my feet or legs before, but I just feel good wearing them. I may have less cellulite since wearing them, but I don't know. I feel like whatever I can do for my legs and body - I ought to! I have the orange and white ones and I love the look of them. I feel like I'm about to blast off in them! I feel funky wearing them. Sneakers are always clunky anyway in my book, so why not go all out with the clunkiest of them all? I actually look forward to walking when I have these to put on. They weren't hard to get used to wearing at all, but be sure to watch the video first anyway. Enjoy!

My MBTs so far -
I really like the shoes, however, I am finding that it is taking a long time to break them in well. I have a very bad blister on my heel and I am concerned that the shoes will produce another blister if I wear them on a long walk home, which I do every day.

Great Shoe!!
Very comfortable shoe! Takes a mild adjustment to get used to the fact that your feet don’t stop moving because of the curved bottom. While standing still you have the urge to rock back and forth. I don’t feel my abs tightening and whittling away like the claim but I do notice a difference when I'm NOT wearing them!

MBT M. Walks -
I normally wear a 6-1/2 in a woman's shoe and I got these in size 36-1/3 (equal to US woman's 6.5 and they fit fine. They are TOOOO cute! I felt the difference in the muscles used after only ten minutes. I got blisters on both feet after the first wearing (wore them for an hour). I let the blisters heal and the second time I wore them I took along a pair of sandals to change into if necessary, and didn't have to. They felt FINE on the right foot and only rubbed a LITTLE on the left foot. So I think I got the right size and should be good to go for walk number THREE! I ordered them on a Tuesday after I got home from work and received them the next day! Thanks, Zappos!!!

GREAT SHOE -
I bought this shoe about a couple of weeks ago and I love them. They are comfortable, cute, and great for when you are on your feet. Unfortunately, I have to wear dress shoes everyday; however, every chance I get I put these on my feet. Totally worth the money, but make sure you order a size up. I usually am a Size 6 (36), I had to order a Size 7 (37).

Good support -
Even though they seem to have no arch support, they do! I have had numbness on the heels of both feet for about the last 7 years until I started wearing my MBTs. The numbness is gone. My posture is also better. I work 12hr shifts in a hospital so I am on my feet most of the day. My MBTs are still comfortable at the end of the day. Take the time to get used to them and only wear them the suggested time amount when you first get them. You will be happy.

MBT review -
I was leary of buying such an expensive sneaker and the look. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the comfort and how much fun they were to walk in. In addition, they do give your legs a workout, without any discomfort! I wear them at home and when I go shopping and they are sooooo comfy. I have found that I miss that comfort when I am not wearing them. I can't wear them all the time, such as at work, but whenever I find myself walking around for a while, I do. I do not recommend running in them such as the DVD video suggests. You can feel the metal plate in the arch of your foot when you run. As far as balance, you will not have a problem balancing in the shoes. The bottoms are just slightly rounded which makes them rock back and forth a bit...not from side to side. It actually makes you walk a little faster because of the way the sole is designed. I wear them power walking on the Staten Island South Beach boardwalk. It makes the walk so much more fun! I can feel the muscles get a work out in the calves and inner thighs, but only during power walking! No muscle soreness during regular standing and shopping. And if you are short in height, they will lift you up a bit!

Ideal for walking and being on your feet -
I find the MBT M. Walk perfect for my job, where I have to be on my feet all day on concrete floors. They make a big difference in how my feet feel at the end of the day over regular shoes. They provide excellent arch support. I find them awkward for running but that is OK since I don't use them for that. Use caution if climbing ladders etc since the sole is convex and makes you balance. Get a half size larger than you take in a normal shoe.

These shoes really are made for walking!
I first read about MBT's in ad in a newspaper and decided to order them from my favorite online shoe store - Zappos. I watched the DVD and walked around the house to get used to the feel of the shoe before venturing onto the treadmill. These shoes have helped my feet tremendously and I no longer have foot pain.
I would recommend these to anyone who has to wear orthotics and have foot pain and are looking for a comfortable pair of walking shoes. If you have a narrow foot, they don't slip either in the heel and did not give me blisters either. They are great and so is Zappos.

When I first saw MBT's on a fitness web site, I could not imagine any shoe being worth over $150; I visited different web sites and after looking at them for two months, I decided to take a chance especially since Zappos seemed to have a good return policy. These shoes will not be returned, in fact I plan on buying sandals and a pair of the professionals for work. I feel great when I wear them and hope you will take a chance a try a pair.
