These are very nice looking slippers. Others have complained they run small. I ordered a size larger than my usual dress shoe sixe and they were much too long and wide. I will try the correct size and see if they are just too wide for me. If not I plan to keep them.

These are great slippers. My husband has wide feet and wears 4E normally. These fit him comfortably by ordering a size larger than he normally wears. Very hard to find slippers he can wear, as even some of the ones that are supposed to be extra wide do not fit comfortably. I only gave it 4 stars because it is not his normal shoe size.

These slippers are great. My only complaint is that they seem a little too small. When I first tried them on my toes felt cramped and I can not wear socks with them. This is probably due to the lining so you should order them a half size larger than normal.

Wonderful man\'s slipper. I bought this for my son who was looking for only comfort and warmth. This shoe handles both nicely and it looks terrific. The only complaint is that the sole is somewhat rounded in the middle which makes him feel like his balance is a bit off. His biggest concern there is that his ankles may hurt but we\'ve yet to see if that prediction comes true. Right now, he is quite content. Thanks again Zappos!

I've been needing a new pair of slippers since my 3.5 year old Smartwool ones had finally started to give out after everynight use. The bodies and footbed are still good but the rubber sole has broken apart. So I decided to go with these slippers from Sorel, a manufacture that I trust for dependable footwear. I was so excited after ordering and couldn't wait for them to arrive. BUT... when they did and I tried them on I was instantly disappointed. Not only did they run small in both length and width (almost felt like my ankle was about to roll every step), they have a Sorel sewn in label in the footbed that is so uncomfortable. However if this is not a problem for you the inside fabric (which I believe to be fleece) is SUPER comfortable and warm. Unfortunately I can't find the Smartwool ones I had so I'm going to try The North Face Thermoball slippers next, hoping for the best.
I'd also recommend:

I adore my husband's SOREL Manawan slippers, so I ordered a pair for myself. I have wide feet and a bunion on my right foot. Because his size 7 D fit me, I ordered that size. Unfortunately, the ones that arrived from Zappos felt too small. My toe was hitting the top of the slipper and they didn't seem wide enough. Not wanting to count on the slippers stretching out after wearing them, I ordered an 8 D instead. What I really need is a 7 1/2 D, but these slippers do not come in half sizes. So I am sacrificing the slippers being too big by keeping the 8 D for comfort and warmth.

I ordered these because of the style and color shown on the website. The color was much different than what I received. The fight was smaller than a size nine.

If ordering...go up one full size. These definitely run small. They may become looser in time...out of the box...too small.

Really comfortable, great-looking slipper, but it started falling apart on me in about a year. A seam split open and I can't rate a fairly expensive slipper highly after that.

These are terrific footwear in terms of comfort and style. HOWEVER, the particular no -slip rubber texturing of the soles are literal dirt magnets. We don’t wear shoes in our home and yet every two days I have to wash the soles of these moccasins (which I only wear indoors) because they accumulate normal dirt and grime to the point that they track dirt as if they have been worn outdoors.

This variant of Sorel's "Manawan" slipper is oddly shaped and way less comfortable than the all suede version. It definitely runs small compared to my other Sorel slippers, including the suede Manawans and the Falcon Ridge. I tried going up a size and they still didn't work. The scoop in the heel area is very stiff and was rubbing on my ankle when I tried them on. The toe box area is really narrow and kind of 'pointy' compared to the suede Manawan.

Runs large. My husband is an 11.5 wide. I ordered the size 12. it's so big on him that his feet fall right out of it. I ordered the 12 following the other reviewers who said it felt a full size too small, my husband said even fro a 12 it fits like a 13.

These slippers seem to be about a full size smaller than they claim. I usually wear a size 8.5 and my toes were crumpled in these at a size 9. As a result, they aren't very comfortable. I'd say pass on these unless you have unusually narrow and small toes relative to your shoe size. Or, order a full size over. They are also sort of taco-shaped/rounded on the bottom, so they don't feel like they land flush.

These slippers are not wearing well. The inside lining keeps shedding. In just 2 weeks they already look worn. Also it's not easy to get them on as there's no tab to pull on.

Extremely disappointed with the quality of these. I wear them indoors only, and after less than 2 months the sole is detaching and the inside lining is wore through. I read similar negative reviews and took a chance, sorry I did.
Note: These felt small/tight when I first got them but the inside lining breaks down FAST. They quickly became very comfortable. I wish they could stay as-is, but are rapidly breaking down. Its too bad, I really liked these.

I used these lightly for a couple of years and the suede split in the back, next to the seam. Just brought it in to a shoe repair shop, where it was patched. The shoe repairman said that this happens with inferior quality suede. Very disappointing.

As much as I love these slippers for their comfort, warmth and style I wouldn't buy them again, not at this price. These should be premium quality slippers at that price and they are not! The inside lining started falling out immediately, especially on the the insole. It got so bad that I decided to peel away the remaining lining that was left and now have a bare foam insoles. Second problem was the rubber sole. It is made of some sort of rubber that is not very durable. After 2-3 years at least half of the soles of my slippers have fallen off where I'm down to the leather. The rubber also gets tacky after time. Having had excellent luck with Sorel boots, I thought I could rely on the brand name but not in this case. Continue your search for a better quality slipper.

Wow, a lot of glowing reviews of these. My take is a little different, after all this is not just some cheap slipper but is supposed to be a high quality Sorel product that should last as long as not used roughly and given it's advertised ability to run out of the house. Not so much. When you get them they are like awesome warm puppies for your feet, they feel wonderful, look pretty great and fit right. Initial quality is excellent when you pull them from the nice Sorel box. Okay so lets get to the real nitty-gritty. Indoor-outdoor soles? Not in my experience. I did not get them to be able to go outdoors in specifically but thought it would be an extra bonus if I needed to step briefly outside (a few step trips to trash and recycle if needed) and maybe there was some dampness where I would be treading on the walkway. First time I try it I find out that the soles really didn't like any dampness at all. And I mean it was not very damp, wasn't raining at the time and my walkway does not hold puddles, I could have gone in stocking feet and not ended up with socks that were soaked on the bottom. The soles became tacky, almost like nearly set rubber cement, whatever was in my path stuck to them and the sole puffed up afterwards. Okay I think, I won't wear them outside at all if it's damp and I didn't, I didn't even wear them outside if it was dry since I have slip-ons I can switch into. So it took a little while and the soles returned to pretty much normal, for awhile. Well before they were a year old the soles "ballooned" I guess I would call it and the glue holding them to the slipper bottom failed mid-sole to near the edges. This gave the effect that air had been injected behind the sole and slipper bottom. Annoying and looked goofy. I thought, okay, these are not holding up quite as they should so I'm going to return them because of this defect and maybe some replacements won't do it. My problem was that I let the one year return date slip by, my fault, should have taken advantage of Zappos great return policy since when you spend a lot for some quality Sorel slippers you expect them to last awhile and I'm not exactly made of money these days. I spent that cost figuring that with my use, as with most of my shoes that see light use, I'd get at the very least 5 years of use out of them if not more, after all, all they had to do was keep my feet cozy here inside my home in the PNW. So I continued to wear them with the silly looking puffed up soles and they amazingly stayed intact for another 6 months approximately, after all they were stitched around the perimeter so they couldn't just come off. Then the soles began to break down completely and disintegrate where the glue released. It's now 2 1/2 years later and amazingly I'm still wearing the tattered remains of them. The soles are gone except for the perimeter where the glue and stitching continue to hold what is left in place and the undersole is gradually wearing away. Being unemployed now for over 2 years and not being able to spare the funds to replace them I have little choice. I've repeatedly examined getting some cheapo replacements but feel that as before I'd just be tossing away money on junk as I had before. So Sorel, despite having some really nice Sorel boots I love, and have for some time, I think I'll be taking my business somewhere else. I just cannot imagine paying $65 for some replacement Manawans and tolerating this happening again. Maybe it's been fixed since I see this same style is still going years later. Maybe I just got some lemons and the soles on these these were faulty and I should have been more vigilant and returned them. If not for this glaring breakdown of the soles I would still be very happy with them to this day. Unfortunately that is not the case. These need more durable soles considering what happened to them and I wore them outside only just once.

I'm disappointed and a little amazed at how badly you messed up my order. I saw a bit on TV about Zappos a few months ago; I can't even remember what program. I'd never heard of Zappos before. I immediately bought and read Delivering Happiness. I was very impressed.
Then I ordered the Sorel slippers for my son. The box arrived earlier than I had anticipated. I opened the box and inside was a pair of women's hiking shoes.
Your warehouse guys messed up so badly, I have no idea how they did it. Wrong sex, wrong size, different manufacturer. The QC guy took the day off early whenever you sent my order out.
