We are on our 4th pair of these shoes. My 4 year old loves these shoes because they are sturdy and comfortable. He has a very wide foot, and this shoe comes in extra wide size that is perfect for him.

Great shoe. This is our second pair we have purchased for our son and he loves them. Sturdy, handsome, and comfortable. We will buy another pair when he grows out of these. Quality shoe.

These are a great all-purpose shoe for active little boys. I got this pair for my son (6 years old) to alternate with a pair of blue sneakers, depending on what he wears to school each day. The color and fabric are great, because they don't show dirt, and I really like the rubber toe caps. My son had a similar pair a couple of winters ago, and he wore them out, because he wore them constantly. This pair did not disappoint; they were comfortable for him right out of the box, and he never complains about putting them on. Thank you NASA for inventing velcro. Stride Rite has been my go-to brand for all of his day-to-day shoes. He has a wider foot, which has narrowed out a bit as he gets older, but still, it has been historically difficult to find shoes that fit. Stride Rite fits, and they last. Zappos is a dream come true. I can order a couple of sizes and try them on here in the comfort of my home on my timetable. I don't have to drag my kids out shopping, and returns are super easy thanks to Zappos fantastic customer service.

This is a very good shoe, my 3 1/2 year old son has been wearing stride rite since he was 1 1/2 and this is his fifth pair. the design is a little boring but they are durable and he seems really comfortable in them. I would continue to buy this brand, and on Zappos, of course!

I bought this shoe in navy for for 2 1/2 year old. It is a great shoe! So nice looking, and it can be dressed up or down. My son loves this shoe and is very comfortable in it. I definitely recommend this shoe.

My son loved the fitting, although he was not too happy with the color. I love them a lot. Next time, I have to buy the color he likes, I guess!

Very attractive shoe! These hold up to the abuse that active boys put on them. My son says these are very comfortable. My son has wide, flat feet with a high instep and these fit him perfectly! He also has very sweaty feet, but not a problem with these. Fitting his problem feet is never a problem with the selection that both Stride Rite and Zappos provide.

I got these shoes in Navy for my son who has started Kindergarten at a school which requires "one color" athletic shoes. I have always appreciated Stride Rite for wide widths and these are no exception; however, where he normally needs Wide, with these I had to return them and get Extra Wide for them to fit right. But they are excellent and he says they're comfortable and easy to put on.

My grandson loves these shoes. They are the only tennis shoes he will wear because they are flexible when he walks. Other tennis shoes are so stiff. It is very hard to find them in stores here so Zappos to the rescue!

We got these shoes for our three year old preschooler with a little more than the recommended shoe size (the recommended size would have been fine). Even as big as they were, he put them on and immediately liked and felt comfortable in them. He calls them the "fast shoes". They go very well with shorts and a T-shirt as well as uniform clothing to school.

I have an extremely active 4 year old boy who likes to play in sand, mud, water, and anything else that comes to mind. His feet are very wide and this is one of the few styles available in XXW. They fit comfortably and can also hold up to the numerous washings needed in our case. They’re also nice enough to dress up when necessary.

Children’s feet grow so fast, especially at the toddler stage, that I can often get Stride Rite shoes for my son used, but nearly unworn (I think there is a lively resale market for Stride Rites!). The fact that I was willing to buy these at full price is a testament to their handsome good looks and the quality I am familiar with from Stride Rite. It does not surprise me that they would be somewhat costly new, as they are beautifully made, wear like iron, and seem to feel great on his foot. I would always recommend Stride Rite, and this particular model is as attractive and useful as the day is long. Great with jeans or more formal pants, too.

Great shoes - Look wonderful on. Not too trendy, which I like. My son has a wide foot and is hard to fit in the velcro closure. These work great. He leaves these on too, so that must mean they are more comfortable than his old ones.
