I love these shoes. So I got the size 7 but I'm normally a size 6 1/2; they were too big. My heel kept slipping out. A week later I saw that a 6 1/2 was available and Zappos was kind enough to let me exchange them out. The 6 1/2 fit perfectly. They are true to size. I also received them the next day. They are high, but once broken in are comfy. This is the 2nd pair of the Dolce Vita Madison I have; I got the Nappa Leather brown last November and love those. However, that color isn't available anymore. I recommend these shoes to anyone who wants a chic high style comparable to most couture brands. Believe me, I have all the expensive brands and my Black Patent Leather Dolce Vitas are a compliment to my closet, as they are just as beautiful as my high priced heels. These are one of my favorite pairs of shoes because they are classic and will be in style for a long time to come.

A Very Classic Shoe - The shoe is extremely comfortable with the height and the thin heel. I ordered a half size smaller than I usually wear, and it fits perfectly on me. The leather is soft yet sturdy, so you wouldn't feel it is hard to break in the shoes. I think this shoe has a narrow fit, so if you have wide feet, you might consider ordering your normal size.

Seriously Sexy! Upon first try, I thought this shoe was ill-sized but, as with all leather shoes, wearing breaks them in and they fit like a glove! Excellent shoe construction, very stable (if you can handle high heels) and superior materials. Toe box is almond-shaped and somewhat smaller than other shoes. If you're anxious about "toe cleavage" or if you require more toe room, perhaps order a half-size up.

Classy and Sexy - OMG What a shoe...bought it on Nude first and loved it soooo much than went back for Red...by the time I went back again for Black...well SOLD OUT in my size (7)...of course...I am not surprised, this shoes are amazing...they rival my Black Christian Louboutin without a problem...YES!!!ladies...that amazing...Love them!!!!

I wish I had orderd every color!!! I love this shoe! It is incredibly sexy! I got it in black and now regret not getting the biscuit color because now they are out. I hope it becomes available again.

Love them!!! What a sexy shoe. However I found just the opposite as the other reviewers. I usually wear an 8 1/2 and I had to get a 9. They are a little big in the heel, but I just put a heel insert in the back and they are perfect. It's better than having your toes all crunched up.

Great platform pump! Had to return this for a 1/2 size smaller, but it's a great platform pump with a chic almond-toe. Haven't worn them out yet, but I think they'll be pretty comfortable.

HOT HOT HOT! These shoes are sooooo sexy and really comfy to walk in even with the super high heel. My only problem is they are very tight in the toes, I considered going up half a size but after reading other reviews I'm afraid they will fall off my heels. Oh well, smooshed toes are a small price to pay for shoes that make me look so good!

LOVE THIS SHOE!! This shoe in biscuit is a great alternative to the ever-so popular $600 n‏ude Christian Louboutin. I found the fit perfect. I have a rule that I get a 6.5 in an open toe shoe and a 7 in anything closed toe...I followed that rule and its perfect. I don't find it difficult to walk in or horribly uncomfortable, like some previous reviews. It is a high heel though, so if you’re not used to heels, you would def. have a problem. Super hot and sexy shoe! I am going to buy some other colors in this same shoe!

I loved the shoes. They were exactly what I expected – beautiful, comfortable, and high quality. I ordered the wrong size at first. And Zappos was very quick and easy to get me a new size. I would recommend anyone the shoes and the company.

Sexy and comfortable! Albeit these shoes have a killer high heel, the footbed is so cushy it’s heavenly. I highly recommend!

Very cute but I'm guessing my feet will suffer tremendously! These are super cute! A cheaper alternative to Christian Louboutin’s. Like the previous reviewer, I am also a size 6.5 medium width, but the 6.5 seemed to kind of slip off my right foot. I sometimes wear a 6, and the 6's were way too tight for me in this style. Anyhow, I'm debating on whether I should keep them or not because come fall, they will look great with a pair of skinny jeans- great outfit for a night out. Personally, Dolce Vita sandals seem to fit better.

Would be perfect if heel caps didn't come off so easy. I have these in biscuit and brown. They are both so hot and pretty comfortable given the height. The only problem is that the heel caps fall off my biscuit pair so easy. I've had the brown way longer than biscuit and the heel caps stay on fine. I had to return my first pair of biscuit Madisons because the heel caps came off after about 4 hours of wear. Luckily Zappos was really cool about it. Now my second pair has lost the heel caps after about 2 days of wear. I love the shoes so I will just have the caps replaced, but I'll probably never buy another pair of Dolce Vita shoes.

I'm a true 6.5M and am glad I went with true to size. I did have to get both the 6 and the 6.5 to find that out, however. For such high heels, they really aren't terribly uncomfortable. Love the knockoff Louboutins look. Wish the biscuit color was a bit deeper since my skin tone is sort of a medium olive. If you're fairer-skinned, they'll be perfect. Still super sexy and leg lengthening though. They come with a dust bag and extra rubber heel replacement tips, which is a nice touch. Quality is decent, though not fantastic. Parts of the leather on my pair weren't perfectly glued together. Maybe a bit over priced, but kinda worth it for the look.

I like the shoe - It's definitely not a shoe I can wear repeatedly because the color is so light. But I like them.

Very chic but not comfortable - I absolutely fell in love with this pair of shoes when I saw them on Zappos. They do indeed resemble Christian Louboutin nude pumps. I followed other reviewers and bought them a half size smaller. They fit well except my toes are crunched... I don't think that I should have bought 7.5 though because that would mean shoes would have slipped right off...I love how sexy they look but they are definitely not for walking around too long...
