The build quality of this shoe is impeccable, and the styling is really classic. I can tell these shoes will last forever. I do have a larger foot (size 12) and I notice that this shoe is irregularly narrow which causes some discomfort to my outer toes. I wouldn't recommend this shoe for long walks. I can barely keep them on a full day. I'm hoping eventually they will loosen up a bit.

One of the more uncomfortable sneakers I've ever worn. The toe digs into my foot and it gets quite painful. They do look fly though.

I was really excited when I saw these shoes on Zappos because I've been wanting a pair charcoal wool shoes. When I finally received them I was really disappointed. The photo on the web makes the shoe look like it's all grey. The actual shoe that I got, the leather areas were really dark almost black looking. So the shoes look like charcoal grey wool with black leather. Buyer beware!

These kicks look great but Clae needs some growing to do in terms of product development. The white sole gets dirty and is impossible to clean. The shoe also has a very bad fit. After ordering 2 sizes larger than my size, I had to remove the sole in order to fit into the shoes. It seems as though the length of the shoe fits the normal sizing charts but Clae hasn't accounted accurately for the spacing inside the shoe. All in all, design wise the shoe is nice but the pain of wearing them isn't worth the price.

Can't go wrong with this pick - Simply put, these shoes are like a great wine. They come too fresh right out the box, yet somehow once they have been broken in the comfort seems to become superb, molding to the contours of your foot. Classic look using the most subtle of details and the best of materials, Clae has really outdone their selves this time.

Straight Dope. Couldn't be more satisfied with these kicks. I am definitely buying another pair of Clae's in the future. And I'm definitely happy that the size 10 and 11 were sold out because the 11.5 shoes fit my feet perfectly! I was surprised that they weren't too big at all.

Great shoe - I fell in love with these shoes the minute they dropped. A bit spendy, but you get your value! They were pretty snug the first couple days so they have to be broken in pretty well, but I can wear these shoes all day long. Most stylish, comfortable daily I have ever owned.

Style in Simplicity - I purchased the black pair a while back and love this shoe. A simple and clean look that goes with every outfit. The quality is top notch and comfortable to wear.

Kinda hard to put on, but once they are on they get the job done. Pretty fresh!

Beautiful Shoe, Uncomfortable Fit - Theses shoes are definitely worth buying if you have a size 12 or less. Although all of my shoes are 13s, theses seem to fit very tight around the toes. Thus, a 1/2 size larger or even full size larger fit is required to make these shoes fit comfortably. Wearing a 13 in the Russell can be a very painful process if your foot is a size 13 in most shoes.

Overall I am happy with these sneakers. They fit me extremely well, just a tad narrow on the front. I received the sneakers within 3 business days, as promised they were brand new. I wear these sneakers on a regular basis, really happy with the product.

Black Nylon - Got these in size 13 and it fits perfectly after just a day breaking them in. I had no problems with the width as well. The feel of these shoes are fairly comfortable and that's saying a lot about typical hi-tops. Super stylish with the black nylon. The only complaint I can offer is that the shoe doesn't breathe too well which makes them stink pretty bad at the end of the day, but still nothing shoe fresheners won't fix. Overall a very stylish, comfortable shoe.

Black leather nylon - By far the best thing about this shoe is the styling. The nylon part of the shoe reflects off of light and can actually shine in some angles. Thought it looked annoying at first but after a few days I began to really like it. It is a good looking shoe. The only thing I'd say against this shoe is the fit is fairly narrow. I'm a size 13, maybe on the 13 and a half side though, but this shoe felt a bit snug and narrow. With loosened laces though it is just fine and comfortable for me. Great shoe.

I was in the market for a comfy, high top sneaker and was quite happy with the Clae Russell's (black/gray). Fits true to size and didn't need much of a break in. Bang for buck, I think it's a solid shoe. My one criticism is about the laces. They're very long and thin - kind of a pain to deal with to be honest - so I swapped them out for shorter ones.

For the price, the shoe does't feel 5 star in comfort. Sizing is off. 9 feels small and narrow but also looks small on my feet. I do like the style and get complements. Hope the quality will hold up but I've only worn them less than a month.

Great Looking shoe, well constructed but not very comfortable. My foot is a 10, I don't have a month to try to break these in, please improve the comfort and I'll be back. Zappos keep up the great work.
