This was a gift for my son who is enjoying them especially during this cold winter.

First, I have to say that Zappos customer service is excellent! Truly the best online shopping experience I have ever had. This boot was a replacement for another Ugg style that did not fit well. They processed my return and had it to me the next day. Wow! I will Use Zappos every chance I get. Now the boots. They fit true to size length-wise. The width is on the narrow side. When I first put them on, I was sure I would need to return them. I wore them inside for most of the first day and they did loosen up. Enough so that I decided to keep them. They are very comfortable now, but still a bit snug. I can not wear these with thicker socks. I have to wear athletic socks as opposed to hiking socks. But that is ok. The boots look great, keep my feet warm and repel water well. They are not heavy duty snow boots. I would opt for Sorels if I had to spend a lot of time in the winter elements away from the sidewalks. But for average winter wear, these have been great...without that added bulk and weight of those heavy duty boots.

Bought these for my hubby. He has a short wide foot, and at first they were too narrow. But with a day or two testing them inside, they stretched out and they work now. He can wear them for hours. He's using the regular sole - the sheepskin sole left too much room in the heel. The minimalist style is great for a short guy too- he's 5'3". Yay Zappos! One more thing, the guy's Uggs are waterproof, because what guy would buy winter boots than aren't? Wish the chick Uggs were! Ah well, form over function!

These boots are amazing! I bought them for my husband and he wears them all the time - in the snow here in Chicago! Great boots. And for Zappos - what a great company! I ordered the wrong pair at first, and had to return them, two days prior to Christmas. I ordered the new pair that day and received them prior to Christmas. The return of the old pair was seamless and so easy. Will definitely order from them again!

Purchases thes boot for my Husband. I received them the very next day. Impressive! He likes them a lot, very comfortable, but he wished they had the sheep skin all the way through the boot like mine.

Hard sole yet still very comfortable. the sheep skin lining runs only down the shank. Not in the foot area leaving the toes a bit colder than expected. Fine for anything above 32 degrees. Much below that and you are going to need the heavy winter socks. But then the boot might get too tight. A little snug around the toes. Fine for me, but I have thin feet. Also, no ankle support so if that is a concern look elsewhere.

Idea for slipping on to go get the paper, chop wood, or after a mountain bike ride. I can go sock...or no sock and they are equally comfortable. I didn't need to go bigger or smaller on size. I wear a 10 and that's what I purchased and the fit was on the money. I prefer keeping in the "soft" footbed vs. the leather option but good to have both.

Not my favorite shoe, but definitely OK. The Ugg's Hartsville boots are very stylish, but a bit narrow for my feet. They aren't as comfortable as other Ugg's that I wear, but I'm NOT unhappy that I bought them.

Warm and Comfortable - So far so good. Pleased with the style and fit. Boot coming in handy with the extreme cold temps. Zappos was great; boots arrived ahead of original shipping date.

Great boots! I'd been buying Uggs for the girls in my family for years and finally decided to get a pair of my own. They slip on easily and provide great comfort and worth in the snow. The fleece footpad allows you to wear them with no socks and still be warm and comfortable.

Not entirely lined in sheepskin - I ordered this boot for my architect husband, who will spend a lot of this winter on a construction site and needed a warm boot that was acceptable to wear at meetings with the client. While these boots look great and were very comfortable, they are not entirely lined in sheepskin. The shaft of the boot is lined, and they do come with a sheepskin footbed option, but the shoe itself is lined in leather. As a rabid Uggs fan, I have 3 pairs myself and our 9 year old son has a pair. We live in them barefoot all winter, which you can't do in this style. I am returning them and ordering him a pair of Uggs Beacon. I have to say that I ordered these at 9 pm and they were delivered to my door by UPS at 2pm THE NEXT DAY, for FREE!! Absolutely amazing customer service.

While these boots are beautiful, they were unusually narrow, especially for UGG. We even went to Nordstrom to try on the same boot... again, too narrow. We were bummed.

Stylish: yes, Warm: no. Buyer beware: these are not warm winter boots! They are very stylish and I do like them for that, but they are no warmer than wearing a pair of sneakers! You have probably already read that the lining is in the shaft only, and my feet were definitely cold when wearing these around outside, even only for a few minutes! I wonder why Ugg did not design these with some Thinsulate lining? I also agree with another reviewer who pointed out that there's little (if any) arch support, making these feel like you're walking around barefoot. For that reason these are not the kind of boots I could wear to work where I am on my feet most of the day. And outside in the cold? Forget it. My guess is that these were designed for limited casual indoor wear, and that's about it. For a similar price you could buy a pair of Red Wing's or Rocky's that would have a similar style, but would have much more comfort and warmth.

Nice wintery boots - Great looking boots for cooler temps. Size is right on. Fit is good, heel does not move around as I had feared. Only item I wish were different is there is no fur in the toe/foot area. Just the ankle. I was hoping for warmer boots. Only the one footpad has fur lining on it. Probably would not have bought these had I known. Haven't tried these in cool/snowy area yet, but hope they'll keep my feet warm on the way to work. They do look great tho...

They don’t make them like they used to. I have a pair of UGGS from a few years ago. They were solid construction and had sheepskin lining throughout the entire footbed to keep your feet warm. I used to wear them without socks all throughout the winter and on ski trips - was like wearing slippers all day. These are not the same. Upper boot (around calf) is flimsy and falls down. Sheepskin lining only in upper area and on removable footbed. No sheepskin lining above or on sides of foot area. Probably won’t keep you that warm. To be fair, I think Ugg may make other models which have more sheepskin lining around the foot and have a more sturdy boot top - but these feel really cheap.

I found them to be a little disappointing in person. Not like the other Uggs I have ordered. Sort of a weird mix of snow boot meets biker boot. Not recommended.

Tried them on and they are really hard to get on and not true to size. Took a pass on them.

Not even a little water resistant. Stepped in two puddles on the way to work and my feet were quite wet by the time I took these off at work. If I were to wear these more, I'm sure my heel would have a blister because it tends to move a lot.

Husband was thrilled with these boots! I suggest a half size larger and wider widths, which is why I will be exchanging these. Cant wait to get them back, though!

These boots are great! Living in snowy northern New England I needed something that looked nice enough to wear to work on days when the weather was bad, these are great! I have never really been a boot wearer but these are very comfortable and warm. I wasn't sure about buying UGGs at first, but they look great and I have received many compliments on them.

My boyfriend is a sneakers guy, I wanted him to wear something a little nicer. He loves these, versatile, nice but still manly functional. True to size. These are cheaper than the Ugg site, and much quicker shipping!

Love these boots. The Sharkskin color wears well. Comfortable, stylish. The leather is at least water resilient and cleans up really easily. They seem really well-constructed.

I bought these for my son as a birthday gift and he loves them. He said they are stylish, comfortable, warm and he enjoys wearing them. He wears a 10.5 and I ordered that size. A perfect fit!

These boots are very comfortable to wear, but they run large. They come with two pairs of insoles. With either pair of insoles inside the boot it fits about a 1/2 size to big. I tried both insoles at the same time and the fit is perfect.

I have been wearing UGG boots for over 20 years. Hartsville has proved to be one of the most versatile styles I have purchased. They are comfortable in all types of weather. I strongly recommend them and would suggest ordering a half size larger.
