I am reading the other reviews now and they all agree this scarf runs a little too short! I wish I would have read those reviews before I got it (and used it). I have the matching hat and loved it a lot so I went ahead and got the scarf. While it's light, soft, and keeps you warm without carrying around a gigantic scarf, I gotta say, I feel a bit weird wrapping it around my neck (once) and barely being able to tie it. If you are a petite kind of girl this might work better for you.

So, yes, this scarf is shorter than the average scarf. If you are looking for a scarf to wrap around your neck, ears, and head -- something you can wrap multiple times -- this scarf isn't for you. But, that is what I was looking for -- something I could commute with on the train without worrying about it dragging on the ground or the person next to me sitting on the end. I've found that if you wrap it correctly, this scarf is the perfect length. Instead of placing it around the back of your neck and then trying to wrap it, it works better if you hold it up in front of you, and wrap it around the front of your neck. There is enough length to criss-cross behind your neck and bring both ends back to the front, cross the ends over your chest, and zip up your coat. No loose ends -- easy-peasy. And, it's so very super soft -- it never bothers my sensitive skin on my face and neck. I just wish Zappos offered it it more colors!! I'd buy more!

I want to wear this scarf all the time. It's incredibly soft and instantly warms me. Most scarves itch my skin but this one feels soft as silk. I want one in every color now. It's not very long but I like that so it doesn't add Bulk or get in the way.
