These are wonderful shoes - comfortable, elegant, perfect for work. In fact, they are my favorite work shoes. I buy all my shoes a half-size larger and put in gel insoles due to chronic plantar fasciitis in one foot, and am always looking for good-looking, comfy shoes with a little heel. These work so well that I bought two pairs. I hope they make them in other colors another year - I would buy them in every shade. I have paid hundreds of dollars for some higher-end brand shoes that are supposedly "comfort" shoes, but have been disappointed. I couldn't be happier with these.

I was looking for flats, and these came up in the search. Since there was only one pair left in my size, I snapped them up at once. I am very glad that I did! These can work as flats, such as with skinny jeans or even ankle-length pants, but they also look nice with dresses. The little wedge gives just enough lift to be flattering to the legs in dresses. Also, the wedge adds to the comfort, minimizing impact. I have walked a lot in these, and never once did my feet hurt (and coming from me, that is saying a lot!). Overall, these are cute shoes, not cutting edge stylish, but still cute, very comfortable, and very versatile. I am quite happy with these shoes!

Very comfortable shoes that are stylish (for those of us who cannot wear high heels). Great for traveling - I can wear them with a suit, dress and casual pants. I have wide feet and high arches and these fit well when I order the wide width.

Finding a shoe I can wear is a challenge as I have arthritis in my ankles & feet, and I'm "blessed" with a high instep. But this shoe can accommodate all that. It's heel is high enough to take a slight pressure off my ankles. The top of the shoe doesn't press on any sensitive areas and it's flexible enough to respond to slight swelling when it happens. But most of all, it's pretty for a simple shoe. The black is really black, it has a patent leather back, and it's slightly pointy - not at all orthopedic-looking. In fact, it makes my foot look slim! Light weight, reasonable price. The sole feels a little slippery on solid floors, but I prefer that to sticking & tripping. I can wear them for 10 hours, no problem. I wish they came in more colors - will buy again.

I just ordered my second pair. I'm 36 and while I try for fashion, my feet are too picky for most cute shoes. I also run around all day for my job so I need something that won't have my dogs barking within 2 hrs in. With these shoes, I can stand or walk in these without them slipping or pinching and they look equally good with my work trousers, skinny jeans, skirts, etc. These are not high style but they're not low either. Versatile and comfy. If you can't wear platforms & stilettos but you don't want your footwear to say, "I give up", give these a try.

Very cute style. Like a skimmer flat, but with a little heel it elongates the leg. Good for a dress, skirt, capris, or pants. Very versatile style. A little pinchy in the toes when worn for a long time, but otherwise very comfortable. I would definitely recommend these.

Absolutely the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned starting from the very first day I wore them. They look dressy or casual depending on your outfit. Best pair of shoes I have purchased in years!

I love these shoes. They fit perfectly and are so comfortable. I have arthritis in my feet and cannot wear heels. These shoes give the illusion that I'm wearing shoes with a higher heel and look much dressier than flats.

These shoes are elegant enough to wear with either jeans or dressy slax. They are so comfortable and so classy, I bought a second pair.

I recently had to change shoe size from a 6m to a 7N due to a problem with my feet. Since narrow width shoes are almost impossible to find in a retail store I went online to Zappos and was very surprised at the selection available. I ordered the Circa Joan & David Yavin because I'm a big "Joan and David" fan. They look classy, fit great, and are comfortable to have on all day. I've received many compliments on the style and quality. Also, my podiatrist said it was an excellent choice. I just wish I could also get it in brown.

Very comfortable shoes - perfect for travel, and not as ugly as shoes for travel usually have to be! Edge where heel hits a bit rough, but a stick-in heel pad corrected the problem. Can be worn with socks or without.

These are such modest little shoes, and yet I receive more compliments on them than any other shoes I wear (and I have some very cute ones!). Very comfortable all office-day long. They seem very durable too.

I'm a 10.5 or an 11 depending on the brand and cut. The 10.5 was too snug, but the 11 fit fine (a little loose but with tights or socks it fits just right.) The shoes look great with pants, capris, and dresses. I can wear them walking all day and then to dinner at night. Very comfortable. I bought some stain and water repellent to keep the shoe looking good.

It's a lovely shoe but too long- need to order (I think) 1/2 size smaller.

I bought 3 similar shoes for work and kept this pair. It did not win for fashion, the front is a little boring but the detail in the back is nice. It's nice enough for work and very comfortable and my foot doesnt sweat much, although my feet do get tired walking on concrete in them more than 10 minutes since there's not major arch support. But they are flexible and there was no breakign in time.

I bought these for a trip to Europe. They weren't my main pair of walking shoes, but I wore them several days when I needed a nicer pair of shoes. One night in Paris we went to the Moulin Rouge and I wore these walking all over Montmartre, which is quite hilly. They were very comfortable and look nicer than a typical walking shoe. Up close the design is slightly old lady (I'm in my 30's) but from more than a couple feet away, the general impression is of a nice black pump. Definitely worth the money if you need a dressy-enough shoe that is also super comfortable.

I feel off-balance when I wear this shoe. Use the larger image views to display the sole. You'll see that the heel is very narrow. I feel almost like I'm walking on ice-skates. Otherwise, it's a beautiful shoe, and I receive lots of compliments. My only complaint is that it isn't comfortable.

Look amazing, but way too long for me. About two inches behind my heel, and too narrow. Since I ordered wide, I'd say this shoe runs pretty narrow. So reluctant to send these back, but there's no way I can wear them.

Shoe fit well but it's goes up to high on the dorsal which then makes the shoe less fashionalble.

I LOVE THESE SHOES. I''ve had 2 pair so far. They are very durable. They don't get hot. The soles last amazingly. Perfect work or dressy shoe. Very comfortable.

These have been my best shoe purchase in a long time! Classic enough to wear everyday with jeans, nice enough to wear on a date night, and comfortable enough to do a lot of walking on that date! I've worn them quite regularly for months and they're holding up beautifully. I love these shoes!

Feels like walking in slippers. I have to agree with another reviewer that these are airport shoes meaning that you can walk in them and not have feet hurt. They are also deep enough across the top to be able to wear liner footies without having them show.

These are my go to shoes for work. They are comfortable, attractive, and work with virtually any outfit. I really wish that they would make them in navy. My only complaint is that the heel is a little narrow and sometimes I wobble a bit but the narrow heel is part of what gives them such a sleek look so I guess that is an unavoidable trade-off. I just ordered my second pair because I am afraid that they will stop making them and I would be heart broken!
