I have enjoyed these shoes. I have so many problems with my feet, but I am feeling no pain in these shoes. They accommodate my thick orthotics and my wide feet. I wear them on the elliptical and at my Zumba exercise class and have no problems. I highly recommend them.

Almost Perfect -
My shoes have to accommodate custom orthotics, and not that many do. The Reina Runner has removable insoles and my orthotic slips right in. Many average shoes will cramp the toes between the top and the bottom of the shoe with an orthotic in, even in a shoe you buy a size larger or wider - and even in a shoe which would otherwise fit your foot. The Reina toe box is roomy enough that my toes are quite happy there orthotic and all. I am very pleased with these shoes except that they have a persistent vinyl odor. I am vegan and do not use leather, but have had very little of this problem with other shoes. However, as to comfort and fit, these are very nice. More colors would be a plus.

I am a convert! I have been wearing New Balance Shoes for as long as I can remember, due to being born with foot problems, being flat footed, over pronator, having bad knees and bad back and plantar fasciitis. I am an nurse and on my feet for over 12 hours a day and my body has suffered for it. I used to have to wear inserts in my shoes for extra support, I have not had to do that with these shoes. I was truly heartbroken when New Balance retired the 1122 shoe (1123 was horrible compared to the 1122's). Anyway I wasn't able to find the size and width that I needed from New Balance and figured I would give these a try. I have been completely surprised by these shoes! Virtually no wearing in period for me, no back pain, and feet feel good by the end of a long day. I don't shop for shoes in stores anymore as I am a shoe salesperson's worst nightmare when it comes to finding the "right fitting" shoes. I plan on buying more to "stock up" just in case they discontinue these. Please Zappos do not stop selling these shoes and please carry Aetrex's complete line of shoes; I will be buying more! In over 40 years I have to say that you simply cannot put a price tag on a good shoe that takes away the daily pain. I would pay double if it means I can go a day without the pain and I finally found a shoe that works for me. I hope you give them a try and you find the same results.

These were suggested for pronation, and that seems to work. They are bulky compared to New Balance shoes, which I usually wear. I don't think I would buy them again.

Was able to wear these out of the box. I am on my feet up to 12 hours a day and had no aches or pains at the end of my shift. I will buy these again.

I gave this shoe a very good review because this is the second pair I have purchased. It’s comfortable right from the start. I bought a pair of walkers but returned it for the runners.

Stable shoe -
A nice stable athletic shoe with good support. Nice and wide in the forefoot (I need EE) - good relief for my neuromas. Haven't figured out the customizable insert yet (supposed to go under the footbed) but I don't think it will make much difference. Good arch support, but strange that the arch lift area continues somewhat across to the outside of the mid-foot area. (Didn't bother me while walking, though.) Back of shoe comes up kind of high on the ankle - may cause a rubbing problem for some people.

Great Shoes -
I purchased these shoes just to try out a different brand. I was quite surprised at how comfortable they were. It's not easy to find shoes that really feel good on these flat feet.

Aetrex Reina -
Not very flexible sole. High in the heel. Good fit most likely for those with a high instep.

I have struggled to find a non-leather sneaker to accommodate my AFO. I wear a regular lift on my other foot. After reading the reviews I decided to try these based on the other comments. I knew they'd be an easy return (Thanks Zappos). I bought my usual 10D and they fit perfectly. I never thought I would find shoes to fit this well. The comfort, even without an orthotic, is amazing!

I like them! I needed a shoe that would accommodate an orthodic. This one fits the bill. It's comfortable.

No way is this a EE. I am D width left & E width right. This shoe would have been a perfect fit it the toe box weren't so narrow & tight. The ball of foot fits more like D width...the toe box is more like a C width -- too bad, really nice shoe that I really wanted to work. Will have to go back because I can't wear it at all.

The heel Zelco seems like a good idea but too hard to get used to. Sneakers were very comfortable except for above problem; very roomy.
