I bought these for my 7th grader. I knew they were called Mayfly because of their short life expectancy but 7th grade boys' shoes have a short life expectancy no matter what. He loves them. Despite being light weight, they have held up well, are super comfortable and he loves them. Zappos got them here in only a couple of days, as always great service.

These shoes are great, so light and so comfortable. It was a surprise but a good one. I have been pretty hard on them and they are holding up well; went hiking through mud and sand and just walked through a stream to clean them off. Going to order another pair soon.

These shoes are amazing! I got these shoes for school because we run every Wednesday but when I received these I decided to test them outside. I sprinted as fast as I could around my property and they were comfortable and light. These have got to be the lightest shoes I have ever owned! If you purchase these shoes they will arrive with a signature Nike Mayfly bag to carry them in. But make sure to stick to dirt and not Gravel because Gravel punctured several holes in the soles. But those were nothing serious.

Ordering the wrong size, I called and was very pleased to see the right size at my doorstep the next day! The shoes are great. Light, sturdy, definitely colorful, and well worth the price. Nothing is easy anymore...except buying from Zappos. Thanks, and...I'll be back.

If you take a dancercize or zumba class, these are great. They fit well and are not clunky. They are very lightweight. Not for hiking in the woods.

These shoes were purchased for my son, who needed a light-weight pair of shoes for gym class. These shoes definitely fit the bill - they're light and weather-resistant. They fit his narrow foot well and he liked the style.

The Nike Mayflys are the absolute best lightweight shoe. If you're serious about running and improving your time then buy these. I purchased these on a Tuesday and they were shipped so fast they came by Friday! Whenever I wear them I get tons of compliments and attention from everyone. They feel like a sock and have good support. Unfortunately they only last 62 miles but I doubt that unless you abuse them. Also the Mayfly bag it comes with is a nice touch. An excellent shoe for fast runners. Long Live Bowerman.

Fun shoes for kickin' around. I get tons of comments on them - they are very unique and the color is great. Very lightweight. I thought I would run in them, and did a few times, but since they aren't designed to last I decided I'd rather just wear them around town.

The Mayfly is an excellent super-lightweight racing flat/minimalist shoe. I ran my last half-marathon in them and they were incredibly comfy. Although they are "engineered for 100 km" of running, I have put about 100 miles on them with no problems...although they are probably worn enough that I won't run more than 10 miles in them at one time. For the price, this minimalist shoe is a great value. It is lighter than many of the minimalist shoes coming out these days and much less expensive.

I bought these shoes to try a different approach to chronic shin splints on my leg where I had ACL reconstruction. So far so good. I've tried everything else to solve the shin splint issue and it ends up being resolved with the thinnest, and cheapest, shoes I got. There was the usual breaking in with most of the issue being the achilles tendon. Other than that, nobody is keeping up with me when it comes to sprinting, literally being done on my toes. The one thing I need to know now is what is a good transition to a more durable shoe. I am considering Merrill TrailGloves.

I'm a "mature" female in her sixties and absolutely love this shoe for Zumba'ing. Light but gives you a solid feeling in terms of grounding and nice support.

These shoes are amazing! They are unbelievably light and comfortable. I bought them to use for general training (crossfit), not specifically for running. They worked out very well for me...lasted about three months (working out 5 days/week) before they completely self-destructed. No joke. They are actually falling to pieces. I may order another pair just to wear casually because they are so great looking! For now, I am switching to a warmer shoe for the winter.

For the price best light weight, paper thin shoe out there, plus they are a eye catcher. Just be careful because they are really fast you might take off and fly away.

This shoe is extremely light. It has a sole with rubber patches on the bottom. The shoe makes a little noise when you walk. It comes from the material of the shoe. If it was not for this, you would not know they are on your feet. The shoe if fun. To me worth every penny.

These shoes are amazing! I usually only run 10km max with these but I love them. It's like running on air. Make sure you buy a half size down and order them tight because you don't wear socks with these. They are machine washable and easy to clean. The shoes are durable, light and supportive all at the same time. I would recommend these shoes to anyone. Wish they had more colors!

I purchased this item for my grandson who requested the "Mayfly" for his birthday present. Although Jack is young, he is a serious runner and does belong to a running club. I can only comment that after running a 3k with his new "Mayfly's" he took a full minute off his best time. I got a nice email from Jack after the race. It's good to be a grandpa!

These are very light shoes. I workout in these and they feel great. I sometime wear them out when I am shopping and I get a lot of compliments.
