The comfort issue may be a problem - I love the look of this shoe. I got the grey with blue and red stripes. Very cool. However, from the second I put them on, I realized that this is probably not a shoe to take on long walks. There is very little arch support and is not cushiony at all. Also, I agree with the other reviewers who say that the ankle is stiff and can cause blisters. I haven't walked around with these other than on my carpet at home, but I can already tell this may be a problem. I'm still deciding whether or not to keep them. Fashion over Comfort? Hmmmm...

Awesome Looking, Needs insoles - I love the look of these shoes but they have super hard insoles. I would recommend buying some insoles to make them feel better, or go with the Ultimate '81s, which are super comfortable. Furthermore, these shoes run a full size larger than any shoes I've ever owned. Maybe it's because I have big feet but all my Asics are 12, and I wear a 13 with everything else.

Sweet kicks - I love these shoes so much I am thinking about ordering another pair to have when these wear out. They look even better in person too. My only complaint was that the heel of the shoe rubbed on my foot when I got them, but that went away over time. This is my first pair of Asics and I'll definitely be looking out for new styles.

I've had these shoes for a while now and they're holding up very well. They're very well made. But there is so little cushioning and really no arch support. They're no good for walking long distances or standing for long periods of time. I do like them though.

As far as running and walking shoe purchases, I really only get Asics for the style and comfort. These, however, are not as comfy as I was expecting since they're a little narrow and not as well cushioned. Great for a casual outing, standing on my feet for 3-4 hours, and there was no need to break them in.

I received a size that fits better than my original order (1/2 smaller than I usually purchase). Unfortunately, the reviews about the backs of the shoes cutting into the ankles are correct. Had to go out and buy blister band aids. They look great, so it's too bad they aren't comfortable. Will have to keep these for days I know I won't be walking much.

I have wide feet, so these did not work for me. They look cool and they looked cooler when they arrived. They sort of look like your feet might sweat a lot in them. A good shoe if you want to look cool but have stinky feet!

I have these in my closet, and they look great there. But on my feet, different story. They still look sharp, but the back part is very stiff, and after wearing them for a day on vacation, I got blisters on the back of both my heels. The shoes are not too small, there is plenty of room elsewhere, but expect them to cut into the back of your foot. Apply some bandaids ahead of time or prepare for scabs.

Even though they look really nice, they're not very comfortable on the inside, rather stiff. Not recommended for extended walks or stands.

Long and wide. Don\'t even know if downsizing will eliminate the width issue. I returned the shoes.

The most uncomfortable shoes I've ever worn. Shoe was digging into my heel almost to the point of bleeding like the other reviewers have mentioned. Be wary!

Love the look of these. They do seem a little big, but I think a 1/2 size smaller would have been pretty snug. The heel of the shoe is horrible. I'm trying to break them in and hope the pain of them rubbing against my heel will go away. I am not a "style over comfort" kind of girl. I hate to be uncomfortable, so I hope I didn't just waste my money.

I've been wearing Onitsuka Tigers for a while (5+ years) and I wouldn't buy a shoe made by someone else unless it were a dress shoe... But this shoe made me reconsider. It looks awesome, fits comfortably, but it seems to be made differently than other Tigers. The sole is more sneaker-ish, and the fabric is not as durable. I walk all day during work and play in a band at night so they get some wear, but I didn't expect the tear so soon. Both shoes are blown out on the outside (near the pinky toe) with 1-2 inch holes now. My other Tigers are still perfect... Dirty, but perfectly good. Would not recommend for everyday/heavy usage.

I love the style, they feel great but a little large but I am really disappointed with the quality. This is my fifth pair of Asics in maybe the last two years and I've grown use to their impeccable quality but after receiving this pair I'm thoroughly let down. There are loose strands on one side of my right shoe, the gray material ends unevenly jagged all around the white "bill" area of the shoe. The bottom of the shoe has a similar jagged and crude cut to it that makes this shoe seem more like an imitation that a real Asics, and to top it off it is a full half size larger than every other pair of Asics I own. I'm not sure if this just a fluke shoe or if this indicative of a new lower quality standard for Asics, but I'm going to think twice before ordering another pair of shoe I used to love so much.

They look great, but the white lip surrounding the foot opening is a fairly stiff plastic. The 2nd time I wore them I went for a 2 mile walk (with heavy sports socks). Before I was done, both of my heels were raw meat, and my socks were bloody. I'm trying to manually stretch that area out, but if I can't, then these shoes will be just for wearing around the house.

Not comfortable at all! Inside of the shoe rubs on the top of your toes, the sole is virtually not existent so if you any standing for any amount of time your feet start to hurt. I would not recommend wearing these for any length of walking because they offer no support. The only good thing about these is they look good and the fit is perfect.

I've bought a variety of Onitsuka Tiger sneakers over the years and have, overall, been satisfied. These are an exception and qualify as the least comfortable sneakers I've ever owned. It's unfortunate, because I think they look great. The interior support is so thin, uneven, and oddly placed that your feet begin to hurt after only a short walk on pavement. The addition of heel pads only amplifies the discomfort caused by the minimal arch support and highlights the awkward padding under the balls of your feet. Recommended only for those whose primary activity is sitting and only walk short distances on carpet. If you live in an urban environment where you walk a lot of hard and uneven pavement, I would not recommend these.

I didn't look closely enough at the photo to realize the whole shoe is suede, minus the stripes. It's been a while since I've worn white(ish) shoes, but I like the look.

The shoe I ordered looks different than the shoe I received but the name is the same? My son is anything but picky, so he's going to keep them, but if the details matter to you, you might end up needing to hassle with an exchange.

Very comfortable shoe right out of the box! The other reviews warning of the rub on the back of the heel are correct. I don'e wear mine everyday, so I'm still in the process of breaking this in. Otherwise, a solid shoe that gets compliments from others.

Love these shoes! As some others said, they make noise on wood floors the first day, but that literally lasts one day. Overall, this is a great sneaker. Very stylish and very comfortable.

These shoes look pretty fly. I've gotten quite a few compliments. The support could be better, and they were a bit uncomfortable at first on the ankles, but they've broken in nicely.

While these shoes are stylish and I like them it isn't the most comfortable shoe in the world. I agree that they do fit about a half size larger than desired. They aren't extremely comfortable mostly because the sole feels thin. All that being said I've had this shoe for a couple of years and I continue to wear them because it looks so good.
