These are gorgeous, but really quite narrow. I have an average width foot (I never have to order wide sizes) and am consistently an 8 1/2. The length is fine, but these are tight across the middle of of my feet at the joint. I've had stretchers in them since I got them just to be able to wear them around a bit in hopes to stretch them with a little wear. If I had known they would be this tight, I would have ordered a 1/2 size or even a full size up.

Good Looking ~ Uneven Tread On The Bottom - Good looking, but the tread on the bottom is uneven so it takes getting used to; it feels odd. I wear an 8.5 and a 9 would have worked if I had planned to wear them with anything other than trouser socks.

Unusual for Cole Haan - Ordered the standard 81/2 along with a 9N just to be safe as most CH fit wide in the heel for me. The 8 1/2 was just right; the 9N was WAY too narrow so back they went. Love the look of the shoe and nice quality. Took a couple of wearings for the stiffness to subside, they are now comfortable, however the left shoe squeaks terribly. Am going to wear them once more, if it continues to squeal back they go too!

I bought these about seven months ago. While they were a little tight when I first got them, they did loosen up a bit after a few wears, and I was okay with that. What I am not okay with, is that after seven months of wear (not daily wear, but weekly wear), the leather around the toe area has worn out, and even torn. I was surprised. I do not wear these shoes for active wear, and I have an office job. I would have expected them to wear better, and last much longer than they did. I am disappointed.

I have other CH shoes that were true to size and very comfortable. These were not. I have blisters after wearing these a few hours. Great style and craftsmanship, they just don't fit well.

The sole is not comfortable - I like its look and comfort when you wear it...however when standing for it so long it hurts my feet, maybe because it's uneven sole will not support or carry all my weight. I will need to return it.
