Tons of compliments! I love this shoe! It is stylish but still very heavy-duty. I bought these shoes as a casual Fall/Winter shoe. I have received lots of compliments on them. I love the heel, especially. Overall, it is very well made, different, and stylish. I expect to have this shoe for a long time. My only *two* complaints: 1. A little large. I wear a size five, and as with all Dr. Martens, these run a little big. I put in some footpads and that seemed to help. I am used to shoes not fitting me since my heels are small, so no biggie. 2. The color. I wish there were more color choices! At the time of purchase, they only offered "tan" which is more like a red-brown. It is a pretty color, but I would have preferred a choice with something in a chocolate.

I am very disappointed with these shoes. First, it is one size larger than the normal shoes. I usually wear size 6.5, and I ordered size 6, it is still one size bigger. Second, it is too wide. Even though I tried with a pair of thick socks, it still has the space on both sides of the body. Third, it hurts around the toes. Fourth, the look is too old. I think I really don't like the shoes.
