I ordered this to compare with the Patagonia Downtown Loft Parka. I liked the other one better - mostly because it was slightly more comfortable in the upper body and looked less frumpy than this one. It was also a bit warmer. But with that said, this is a really nice parka and quite warm. The hood is detachable and it looks great with or without. The pockets are fleece-lined and nice and roomy, although I found them to be too high up for comfort. Also the body was quite roomy while the shoulders were just slightly restrictive. I wear a size S most of the time and I've also tried this in an XS, which looked a lot better, but was less comfortable. It's too bad this doesn't come in more interesting colors - the white is nice only if you keep your clothes extra clean and the brown is quite dark. All in all a fairly good coat, but I'm not totally in love with it. Also Zappos "overnight" shipping was a real disappointment; I ordered on Thursday night and didn't get the box until Tuesday night!

I'm surprised none of the other reviews mentioned how tight the neck is on this coat. I couldn't even zip it up all the way. I probably should have gotten a medium just to be safe although I definitely wear a small or extra-small in everything else. So unfortunately, I have to return it. But great service from Zappos. Ordered the coat on a Tuesday at 5:30 pm and it was delivered by 4:00 the next day!

Color was not as rich as I hoped, the fabric was not as soft as my coat purchased a few years ago. My biggest complaint: they really need to add snaps or buttons as a closing option. I returned it because in order to close it you have to zip it. It was not as thick as I hoped, it looked great, however, very slimming! Need more warmth up here in AK.

I really love Zappos! All the items I have received in the past have been to my expectations, but I ordered this coat for my daughter for Christmas, and I feel that for the price,it appeared very flimsy,and the down was very thin. I don't feel that it would be warm enough for N.Y. winters, which can get down into the single digits. Sorry Zappos I am sending it back.

I shouldn't have ordered when it said "there's only one left for this size". I've received a damaged item with a clean cut on the jacket. Truly disappointed, since there's no more size small to exchange. I'm 5'4", 110lbs and SM fits perfectly. I'd give 10 stars for this jacket, too bad I have to return it. And please do not purchase when the stock is getting low; most likely, you will receive a damaged previously returned item.
