Unfortunately these are going back. The bottom of the shoe isn't fully covered and only has a strip of plastic at the toe and the heel. I was afraid to walk around my house when I tried these on much less walk outside in them for fear of falling. Too bad, they are really cute otherwise.

I hated these shoes. I ordered a bunch of sandals this season, trying to find something that would work for me (Thank you, Zappos!), and these were the worst. The shantung is not sturdy at all (obviously), so these were hard to get my feet into; the cloth provides no stability when inserting your foot. Also, the footbed was hard and uncomfortable, and (worst of all) the toe area was extremely narrow. Returned.

These are the worst fit. I tried 3 sizes and they are completely non wearable!

These shoes are wildly uncomfortable. At first you think you'll be ok... but no. They fit true to size and the look is darling but the canvas fabric rubs the sides and top of your foot so badly I would not suggest purchasing these. Usually love Ralph shoes but not in this case.

It's possible that I got the wrong size. I've been having trouble with shoes in my usual size fitting large lately (Are shoe manufacturers vanity-sizing shoes now?!), but these were just ridiculously huge. The box wasn't labeled, so I have no idea. They're super cute, though, and would be very versatile for summer.

These beautiful shoes have to be the most uncomfortable shoes that I have ever worn. I thought, well, they are a little stiff but should break in after wearing them for a little. Not so. I would definitely not recommend these. I really appreciate Zappos' customer service and return policy.

This shoe started fraying as soon as I wore it and the sole separated from the bottom of the shoe today. I haven't even had the shoes 3 months.

These are going back! The soul is way too slippery. I thought it was a mistake but when I looked at the picture of the bottom of the shine, I see that it is not.

These would be great shoes but they started falling apart after I wore them for one day in an office. The material on the wedge started to unravel/fray. I returned them. Way too expensive for a shoes I could maybe wear three times.

I have wide feet, so I thought this shoe would fit well, even though the reviews said the shoe runs big. They fit in the front, but still too big in the heel. Plus the gold raw silk is fancier than I was looking for.

I am so disappointed. I loved the look of these shoes and stupidly bought seven pairs. I paid for extra fast shipping. They arrived today and are the most uncomfortable shoes ever! It is like walking on hay. I am so disappointed. They are all going back.

I bought two sizes: 8 and 8 1/2 after reading the reviews. The 8 1/2 was much to large in both length and width and the 8 was much too small particularly in the width area. I gave it 5 stars for style because they were exactly the style I was looking for. Unfortunately, they didn't work for me and I had to return both pairs.

Whoa, are these poorly sized. Very cute but run very big. I ordered a smaller size and they are still way too wide. Too bad.

Based on the other reviews I thought I'd love these. Instead I found them to be extremely uncomfortable. The fabric was super rigid like cardboard (I tried 2 pairs black shantung and natural/silver). Perhaps after some wear they would have become softer but I couldn't go through the torture. The look is a cute basic but so uncomfortable. I do have other espadrilles in my closet, so I know how they should feel.

This sizing on this shoe is off. I normally wear an 8, but even a 7 does not have a secure fit.

Worst shoe ever!!! My feet were incredibly sore after only a few hours. There is nothing comfortable about these shoes. I loved the look but will never wear again.

I wanted to love this shoe but it was so uncomfortable, I got blisters after wearing them for only a few hours. The problem was they were too big. I wear a 9.5 but these fit like a 10. Therefore, they rubbed unmercifully. But I called Zappos and they were very helpful in understanding my problem and I am extremely happy with the service.

For me, these shoes were extremely uncomfortable. The only part that was wrong with these shoes for me was the heel. The back of the shoe dug into the back of my heel, giving me the worst blisters I think I've ever had. And they weren't too small or a matter of them fitting, because they were comfortable everywhere else. Other than the heel, these shoes were comfortable. It was a total waste of money for me; these shoes went in the trash!

The material is so coarse the shoes gave me blisters at the top of my toes at the peep and around the sides of my feet. This happened the first time I wore the shoes. They're going into the garbage since they're unwearable.

I have been looking for a pair of shoes like this for about two years. I have never seen a pair of black wedges that don't have 4-5 inch heels, so I was excited to see a pair that was moderate in heel height. My only concern was that they would be uncomfortable, but that was quelled by the previous reviewers. Well, I wore these to a wedding last night and, oh my goodness, my feet hurt! Seriously, it cut into the top of my foot near the toe. It cut into the back of my left foot (not my right, for some reason). There is no padding at all to these shoes. It's like walking on packed hay. And on top of that, they are slippery. I almost fell in the bathtub trying to wash my daughter's hair. I am extremely disappointed, as I was intending to wear these to walk around in in San Francisco. Ugh...off to find a pair of comfy ones!

I am very disappointed with this shoe.The inner lining is rough raffia. The heal has a very thin leather piece that after 2 short wearings has worn thru to the raffia fabric on the wedge. I got a blister on the top of my toe because the fabric inside the top is rough...
