Dressy shoe that can also go casual. I ordered down a half a size, and probably should have gone down a full size. Normally wear a size 8 and could have gone to a 7, since the fabric will give a bit over time.

Fabulous, comfy shoe with lots of style! I've really enjoyed these shoes and have done a lot of walking in them. They are quite comfortable. I don't feel like the soles are very well constructed and that they are wearing too quickly. Overall, I really like them!

My go to shoe this summer. A stylish, reasonably priced summer shoe. I tried on lots of the trendy 'cage' sandals for the upcoming summer. Just did not like the way any of them looked. Saw this on Zappos, thought the price was surprising low. With many colors, they go with anything. Like the heel height, just a little boost. Love the metallic black, because it hides any dirt or if you rub it off it does not show like it would on a solid dark color.

I get a pair every spring in black. They go with everything and actually hold up pretty well walking all over NYC. The shoes can be a bit stiff at first and need some breaking in, but then feel like slippers. Be sure to order down half a size from your usual.

Very cute, but runs large. I tried my usual shoe size and it was completely too big all over. I went down a half size, and it was better. The shoe isn't very comfortable. The back slides a little, and there is no support. I kept it because they are cute, but I wouldn't plan to wear them for an entire day.

Following the advice if other reviewers, I ordered a 1/2 size smaller. I wish I hadn't. They were way too small, especially in the peep-toe area. I wore them anyway hoping they'd stretch, but they didn't. Because I had worn them, I could not return them. So I had a pair of shoes I couldn't wear - until I made a small slice in the fabric of the peep-toe. Can't really see it & at least I can wear them. BOTTOM LINE: Very cute shoe, order your correct size, and be prepared for a tight toe-box.

I bought this shoe for its versatility in wardrobe use and to have a wedge that is cute, but not so sky high. After a few hours of wear (outdoor walking), the straps across the toes pinched a little and the backs of the shoe rubbed on my ankle. I am hoping the fabric stretches a little after multiple wears to provide a some relief to the pinching and rubbing. However, a few thick band aids would probably relieve the slight discomfort. There is not much padding in the footbed so do not expect extreme comfort, especially if you plan to do continuous, long amounts of walking in this shoe. Overall, I love the style and the few minor discomforts will not sway me away from making this shoe my go-to spring and summer wedge.

Great shoes. Go well with shorts, long dress or ankle jeans. They run a half size too big.

This is a great espadrille that comes in almost every color. It looks great - the down side is it runs very wide so I will have to put pads in to keep shoe on my feet. Medium feels like W. Also, there is no arch support whatever so I know feet will hurt after walking in shoes for awhile. So I will look for some type of arch support pad to put in the shoe. The up side is they look great! and I am tempted to get more than one color - perfect shoe for pants or dresses. The style elongates the leg, which I need as I am short and so I wear this style always with dresses.

Slightly wide for my narrow foot, but not so wide that I can't wear. The color is awesome! Kind of a sea foam green that is difficult to find. Comfortable and well made.

Size 5, perfect fit, comfortable. Dressy looking and pretty. Alas, they are not made in USA, wish they were.

I'd been looking for years for an espadrille with the right heel height and am so glad I found it! Also bought it in the tan/gold flecked which is also beautiful. I'm a size 8 and the size 8 fit perfectly. Only negative is that I can feel the seams on the tops of my toes which are sensitive. But worth it anyway.

I like the shoes, and after reading the reviews I ordered a size smaller than what I usually wear but they are too small, have to send back and order a larges size. Wish they had better padding though.

These are gorgeous. I bought them in Marigold, size 9.5. Even though I have wide feet, I still found these to be pretty comfortable. The only problem is that my pinky toe was escaping out the side hole. I'm very sad to have to return these cute wedges.

I'm in love with these shoes! I had some concerns at first but decided to stick them out and figured I would wait until I'd had them for a few weeks before writing a review. I'm usually a size 8.5-9 (closer to 8.5), so based on reviews I ordered the 8.5. They felt fine but slightly on the looser side, and I figured the material would stretch, so I ended up ordering the 8 afterwards and sticking with these. As far as comfort, they were very uncomfortable at first. Since they hadn't stretched out the back dug into my heel, but mostly the toe caused the pain -- I had to put bandaids on both of my big toes to protect from the rubbing/digging in. The heel pain went away very quickly however (didn't take more than a day or two to stretch out), and the toe area started gradually softening up after that. It took several days of wearing them, but I'm very happy with them now -- I wear them all the time and without reservation!

These shoes are comfortable and quite flattering. That said, there are a few issues, none of which I considered serious enough to return the shoes. One, the shoes are actually orange; or rather, red with a gold overlay that makes them appear orange. Also, the insides are jute which may be uncomfortable after long wear. Finally, if you have very high arches as I do you may benefit from a small gel arch support. Otherwise a great shoe in a unique color.

Loved the shoe, but took a chance that it wouldn't be too high. Sadly it is. The product info does not give the platform height so that you can calculate the actual heel height. Platform measures 1/2 the overall heel height is 2 3/4. In addition it runs big ; buy at least 1/2 size smaller.

Wanted a yellow summer shoe that was professional enough to wear to work but good for casual, too; these fit the bill. I've gotten them in beige and khaki and have gotten complements on all three colors. I have worn them to walk to my bus stop after work and wouldn't say they caused tremendous foot discomfort, but wouldn't recommend doing that on a daily basis. Fine for walking around work on a normal day.

Very cute shoe, but I could not get used to the twine insole - felt rough on my foot with every step.

These shoes are a great color, a beige that tends more toward khaki than cream. They were comfortable immediately, and look great with capris pants or casual summer dresses. I also bought them in black. As with most espadrilles, I don't expect to get more than one season out of them, but they're priced so reasonably that's not really a concern.

I bought three pairs of these shoes in different colors - really nice looking shoe! I bought them in previously and liked the way they looked with both pants and skirts. The problem? There is no "reinforced" heel - the buffed leather heel is no higher than the roped platform, so the roping starts wearing down as soon as the shoes are worn outside! I've solved the problem by having my cobbler add a little heel protection (maybe 1/8-1/4 inch high), but it's too bad that I have to fix the shoes before being able to wear them. That all said, once the heel is reinforced, the shoes don't show signs of damage!

Very pleased with the look, and fit. Found them very comfortable. Intend to order them in other colors.

These are beautiful. Only draw back is that the sea grass looks unraveled already close to the sole. Will probably take scissors to it soon. Could use a little extra padding in insole too.

So, as noted by others, the linen fabric will rip the skin on the tops of your toes apart. Ugh, blisters. However, the shoes are otherwise very cute and comfortable, and I wanted to keep them, so I solved this problem by getting some sticky-back felt from JoAnn's Fabrics, cut it to fit, and now I have a nice, soft surface between toe and shoe. You do need to size down in these shoes - the size 7 fit my usually size 7.5 foot just right.

These are a stylish summer shoe. The beige color goes with everything, but they also have a slight sheen to dress them up. The heel is a little higher than I'd like, and they are a little tight around the toes, so they are ok comfort-wise for short walks or sitting around, but for long walks I would not wear these. They do seem to run a bit large. I typically buy a 6, but ordered them in a 5.5 and they fit.
