One Satisfied Customer - I was skeptical of how things could be ordered over the internet but I was pleasantly surprised by ZAPPOS prompt and courteous service. My husband is a diabetic and needed better shoes for his tired feet. When I looked online and found the perfect shoes I ordered and they were here the next day! The company paid 100% Next Day Air Shipping at no cost to me! I recommend this product line to anyone that is need of comfortable and stylish shoes. By the way my husband LOVES his new shoes and his feet love them too!

1322 - New Balance is the only tennis shoe brand that will fit my feet comfortably. I always order the 9-4E and they have not disappointed me. They are comfortable, provide excellent support and their look is OK.

Bought these for my husband, who has flat feet. The cushioning is still holding up after a few weeks of wear and his feet don't ache after one of our 4 hour walks. The toe box is nice and roomy so there are no squished toes. Not the shoe for someone very style conscious, but good for someone who cares a bit more for comfort.

Large Size for the Younger Generation - I purchased these shoes for my teenage son who is currently wearing a 15 EEEE. New Balance seems to be the only maker of the size shoe I need that a teen would consider semi-cool. I have purchased two different styles of New Balance from Zappos and been very happy with both.

Good Shoe For Heel Spurs And Orthotics - This shoe is one of the few I have found that comfortably fits my wide feet as well as the orthotics that I wear. The cushioning on the shoes last longer than others in the same price range.

Great find! Having a swelling problem it was a little difficult to find a sneaker to fit. The 855 filled the need, very comfortable and good looking!

Great shoe - I really like this shoe. It provides the stability that a lot of walking shoes don't. They run true to size and look much better than the 926.

Perfect fit! Oh my gosh, I am on my feet for my entire 12 hour shift. I forgot how good a new proper fitting pair of shoes would feel. It made a huge reduction in the leg pain and fatigue that I experienced by the end of my shift. Great shipping time. Faster than expected. Keep up the good work Zappos team.

Zappos has good products, but also gives you old fashioned customer service. I have ordered four or five pairs of shoes and have had excellent service and quick responses. Not all on line companies are so high standard but you can rely on Zappos.

I went shoe crazy - Bought 20, Kept 7...These are "Keepers" I think I have OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) so when I get on something I research and beat it to death. Over the last few weeks I have ordered 20 pairs of shoes. Of the 20, I kept these 7: NB MX855, NB 965, NB 888 (1/2 size smaller than my normal 10. I had to get 9.5, sent back the 10s), Nike Moto 5+, Brooks Addiction 7 (great- my favorite), Brooks Addiction Walker, and the Brooks Adrenaline will be here tonight which I hope will fit me. I weigh about 185#, and my feet are caveman square, and wide (4E), and flat, and I am a slight over pronator. I need stability. These shoes will be worn mostly in the office and the plant at work. Maybe a workout or 2. I tried the NB 576, it felt cheap and flat, the NB 926 felt heavy, too big, and too high, and the old NB 608 felt too mushy so I returned them too. (Told you I had OCD). These MX855 fit great in 10 4E, look great, are not too high, and have great ankle support and just the right cut so I am not walking in the corner of the shoes like I do with some. At work we are required to wear all leather, but I can cheat with these since they look like all leather but the design on the side has a bit a breathable mess to help my hot feet stay cooler. Mine are white, and I was going to buy Black Addiction Walkers, but now I think I am buying black MX855 instead. They both fit great. Anyway, I like these shoes and will buy them again. Within the past 10 years or so, New Balance started running smaller than marked. Due to a foot injury I had to wear a 4E width and it used to fit well. No more. I switched to Skechers and found them to run bigger than marked. They started getting hard to find in my size around here and I stumbled upon the 6E NB's. They fit well and are very comfortable and after a month I can say they seem to be holding up better than the Skechers, too. But keep in mind those of you with extra wide feet: New Balance has a tendency to run small!

Lighter than the previous shoe (MX854), it also seems a bit flimsier. It breathes better, though. The insoles are not very good and have to be replaced.

This shoe is expensive but cheaply made. I go through a pair of these every year. They aren't wide enough, but I haven't found any other decent athletic EEEEEE+ shoes.

I ordered some casual dress shoes for my husband with my first Zappos order. He wears a 4E and is hard to fit. The shoes were just a bit short so we sent them back and was given credit with Zappos. We reordered the shoes one size bigger and he loved them. We later ordered a pair of new balance tennis shoes for him. This time we ordered the next size up and it was a perfect fit. Zappos over-nighted them to us without charge and we hadn't even requested it. We will definitely buy from Zappos again.

Great shoe. Durable. Seems a little narrower than other New Balance shoes of the same size.

Tight, in both senses - I like these shoes, but I badly needed a new pair so that might have something to do with it. They are tighter than I expected from NB, but perhaps my order being a size 15 had something to do with it. Right now am only using them at the gym for cardio workouts, but when (if?) they break in a little more they will be tested on the tennis court and in a 10K next month.

Very good shoe for my stupid problem feet - I have given up on trying to buy shoes in stores. I have wide feet and my left foot is probably a half size larger than my right. Most shoes also make my arches hurt. These shoes, in size 11 6EE (apparently the widest available), seem to be just about perfect for me. They fit well, especially with rather thin socks, and feel good everywhere. The shoes seem to be very sturdy and should last a long time. I'll wear them to the gym and casually when I go out.

Really nice looking shoe. A little heavy. Excellent heel and arch support. Arch support was not where my foot needed it and caused a little pain after wearing for a couple minutes.

These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. Went for a walk that evening and they didn't bother me a bit. Sadly, after only having them for about a month or so, the area between the laces and the end of the shoe has started to tear. Comfort -- two thumbs up; durability -- not so much.

I wear a 10B and used to buy NB 608's. They fit perfectly, but when the shoe was changed to the 608 NV or something, the arch support was basically removed. So I tried the MX 855 based on the reviews for excellent arch support but am not happy with them in two ways. First, there is very little arch support. The shoe is basically flat with a little bit of an arch on the very inside. Second, the tongue always slides to the outside no matter how I lace the shoes to try to prevent it. I will not buy these shoes again and wish I could get the old 608's back.

Good sneaker - It would be a 5 if there were more cushion inside. That said they give me good support & stability.

Needs More Cushiness - I have bought NB for years. This model is not cheap and seems to need more cushion in the sole. I have bought about 5 or 6 pairs of MBTs through Zappos and am always in search of a shoe that’s cheaper but has some padding. The new NBs are not so hot. Good fit overall. The wideness is their best selling point.
