We recently took a Grand Circle Tour of Ireland. I am having trouble with my foot and ankle so I purchased two pair of 511s: one in black and one in white. I wore them throughout Ireland whether visiting the Cliffs of Moher, Blarney Castle or walking through Galway. Comfort was the name of the game. Fast free shipping both ways is wonderful, too.

Excellent sneaker. Better fit than other sneakers that I\'ve tried on at stores. Am glad I made the purchase. Also am glad that I had a chose to pick "Wide". Never had that choice at a store.

I was recently diagnosed with Plantar Faciitis and my podiatrist specifically recommended New Balance shoes as part of my treatment. These are light and comfortable and met with his approval.

I bought these shoes for work, and they fit the bill. I deliver mail, and these shoes are soft enough, yet sturdy enough for a lot of walking.

I was having trouble with my arches hurting and having severe pain if I walked around or stood for any length of time. I was wearing Skechers and they did not have the arch support that New Balances do, so the medical person that I went to see told me to get New Balance shoes and my problem should go away. I ordered my New Balance shoes and now I am able to stand for long periods of time and I can also go shopping or walking and not have the foot pain that I had been having.

I ususally try to buy New Balance lately because I\'ve found they have the widest toe boxes. Although my feet in general are quite narrow, the past few years I\'ve developed bunions so a wider toebox is less irritating. That holds true for this style of New Balance. Runs true to size and (so far) has supported my foot very well.

These shoes are nice for short walks. I bought them for walking the dog and they\'re great for that purpose. However, I won\'t recommend them for any long, hard walks as they don\'t provide enough support. I would recommend the New Balance 926 instead. But, these shoes look nice on and are light weight for the summer. A word of caution: They run just a little bit short in the toe.

Good, comfy shoes overall; I recommend them for everyday wear and walking. They're light weight & built with generous, cushy padding that's like an all-day hug for the feet. They run a bit on the small side; typically a deal-breaker for me, but somehow the comfort of the padding and the shape of the toe-box pretty much cancels out the snugness issue. I also sprayed a bit of "shoe stretcher" on the toe boxes; that helps. Being New Balance, they're very good for keeping the feet aligned while walking. Well worth trying!
