The color is a little darker than what is pictured, which is for the best, its more of a maroon than a scarlet. The fabric and print is high quality and the gold flecks in the fabric add a great touch. The fit of these boots is amazing! They hug around your calves and are super cute with jeggings, jeans or a skirt.

When I go out in these boots, people stop me, because they have such a wonderful style. Paired with a little black dress, skirt and turtle neck or jeggings; you will look and feel stylish. The sizing is very true to size. I was very concerned about the width of the calves, since although I am petite, I am muscular. What a perfect fit. As back up, measure your calf at the widest measurement! Most of all, have fun wearing them.

The boots are so adorable. I have thin legs and they fit my calves snug. This boot will complement many outfits. This is a great buy. Definitely true to size. I purchased three pairs of shoes and they were delivered quickly. First time buyer from Zappos, but will be a repeat customer. Thanks Zappos, I have been searching for a company like yours.

These boots rock! I get compliments every time I go out in them. If you like something a little unusual, classy, and eye-catching, this is the boot! There are very comfortable and have become my go-to boots for dancing. I have a hard foot to fit (9 Narrow), and these fit like a dream! My only regret and they didn't have my size available in the brown. I would have bought both!

Guess what? I forgot I ordered my Babs. They came back so fast. When I opened that box I said, Wow! These boots are hot! When I finally wore them, did the compliments come. These are the coolest boots! If you want to jazz up an outfit, get these boots. If you want your outfit to get some major attention, just wear these! Like other reviewers said, these are a little tight in the calf. I just wear very thin leggings or tights with them. I bought both colors and love them!

I received my boots and love them. I don't have small legs and could get them zipped with a little help. Everyone around me loves them also.

Beautiful, snazzy boot! I bought these in both colors and get raves from everyone when I wear them. As mentioned by another reviewer, these boots have a subtle gold thread in the design that gives them a soft glitter. The fit is tight around the calf, but the shoe is true to size. I wear a size 8 and have fairly slim calves, but they are tight on my calves though they fit my foot. I would not be able to zip them up over a pair of jeans or even jeggings! The best part of these boots is that they go with so many different colors, red, brown, black, camel, gold, etc., and look great with them all!

I saw these boots on a friend and loved them. I went on the Zappos website and found these fabulous boots. True to size and feel great on my feet. Love them and the comments I get are wonderful.

These have become my "go to for fun" boots. I have slender calves and they fit me snugly so I would caution those with wider calves. Despite my bad bunion and the narrow looking toe, these boots are really comfortable for me. I usually don't buy a 2 1/2" heel to walk in but these are surprisingly comfy. Due to the print, I am finding them a bit limited in what I wear them with (black is great).

This is a beautiful boot but! it does run small. I was told by Zappos 80% said true to size. It is not true to size. I wear a 9.5 and I have narrow feet. If you have a average or larger calf they will not fit.

I love, love, love, LOVE these boots! Very cool and surprisingly comfortable, it's impossible to have a bad day when wearing these.

Like many other reviewers, I do find the circumference at the calf a bit snug, but they do fit. My calves are neither large nor small and I struggle just a bit to get the zipper over, but once I do, they are fine. These boots got me lots of compliments. I wore the tan ones with a red dress and they go great! I danced all night with them at a wedding and only at the very end did I feel any discomfort -- mostly just aching feet. Would definitely recommend!

Love these boots. Very comfortable. I am on my feet all day and I can have them on for 14 hours. They fit my calves -- most boots are very lg. for me. Colors are fabulous. Size is normal shoe sizing. A must have boot for this season.

These boots are AWESOME!! Very stylish, a sexy appearance, and true to size. I love the way they fit my calves (I have small legs.) If I had any constructive criticism, it would be that I wish the heel was higher because I prefer a 4" heel. They are keepers based upon the look and fit!!! I would definitely recommend these boots.

I have narrow feet and skinny calves. They fit good in the foot and the shaft is not too sticky outtie. I normally wear a 9-10 in a boot and I had to take the 10 in this one. Boots are super cute and comfy for a heeled boot with a kind of pointy toe.

I love these boots! I ordered the Gold/Beige Paisley as well as the Red ones. I receive so many many compliments. I am in the Auto Industry (Sales) and need to be on my feet sometimes 12-13 hours a day. They are comfortable from the git-go and are true to size.

These are awesome boots, they look better in \'person\' than in the photo as there is a gold lurex thread running through the pattern that really jazzes up an already stunning boot. I went 1\/2 size bigger after reading the reviews and I am very glad I did. Calf area is snug but it fits me, my friend was not so lucky.
