I hadn't seen Keds for guys since childhood, so I figured these would be worth a go. They seem to be well-made, light and flexible, and most folks would probably consider them a good, comfortable casual shoe. Unfortunately, there is no room for orthotics, and my badly-damaged feet can't tolerate the flat insole. My search continues!

I bought these to replace a black pair of Seavees Pantones. The Keds are a lot more comfortable (although, to be fair, the Seavees are the least comfortable shoes I've ever owned), and even more fashionable. Unfortunately, they didn't last long at all. Apparently, I walk strangely -- I land on my heel, which causes them to wear down. I never noticed this until my Seavees, which I worn down in a little under a year. But the Keds wore down in about 3 months! By contrast, I have Sperry's that lasted 3 years. I don't know if you consider this a "quality" issue -- it's just that these types of shoes have extraordinarily thin soles. As a designer, fashion is important to me, but not enough to add a new pair of shoes to a landfill 4 times a year. I'm sticking with my Sperry's until I can find a more durable black, flat shoe. But if you walk "normally" and have never noticed sole-wear, I'd definitely recommend these shoes. Just replace the insole with some SuperFeet and you'll be happy!

Great shoes, nice looks but you can find an exact copy in Chinatown for less if you've got smaller size. Very good for casual wear, something Mr. Rogers would slip on on his way to his neighborhood but zero support. I wore a hole in the heal in less then 4 months. Would get another pair if they ran for less.

These shoes look good and feel good but the canvas upper started deteriorating immediately. It now has tears in it, the metal ventilation holes are falling out. Honestly, I expected more quality.

These shoes are stylish and reasonably comfortable, but they are not made to last. The soles on my pair wore straight through after about three months. A pair of shoes really stops being stylish when your toes are poking through the bottoms.

The metal rings on the sides fell off a few weeks after wearing them. The soles fell apart a couple months later. I love the way these look, but I don't think they are worth the price considering how cheaply made they are.

Great shoe. Got lots of compliments on it. They go great with skinny jeans. They feel like they will last some time. They also feel like they will take some time to break in. Overall I'm very satisfied with this shoe and the 2 day delivery. Gotta love Zappos!

I have purchased and worn out two pairs of these shoes in the past year by wearing them every day. In Greece, India, Italy, and the United States, these shoes have provided me with amazing comfort while always looking good. I've worn these on hikes all over the Greek islands and through the dusty Indian landscape and not once did my feet ache. Highly recommended!

These are good shoes. They look stylish and simple! They are pretty nice for the summer! I was satisfied with the looks for the money!

Great Shoe... have ordered the same shoe many times and it never disappoints..

I'm really pleased with these shoes. I'm usually a sz 9 but the sz 8.5 fits perfectly with a thin pair of no show socks. I wore them for a walking intensive 3 day weekend and my feet didn't hurt at all. I would, however, recommend a shoe protectant spray since they're white. Overall, great purchase.

Simple and classic. Materials seem to be high quality and take a little breaking in. Keds never disappoints.

Good looking shoes. Very comfortable. Price is great too.

Classic sneakers. The minimalist white canvas looks great with khakis and will be a great summer or spring shoe. I wear them without socks and ordered my normal size, and they're nice and snug. If you plan to wear socks, get a half size big. Okay to walk in, but perhaps not as cushioned as Vans Core Classics.

We Love Keds Champions! They are simplicity and classic. They work with either modern or retro looks.

Nice shoes for the price paid. A bit uncomfortable on the back side. Could have a bit better support from the back side of the feet.

The main reasons I like Keds over Vans and other similar brands are durability and ease of cleaning. For the most part Keds last longer and they clean up fresher versus other canvas shoes that I have owned. I will say the men's Champion does run pretty narrow, though.

I used to think Keds were just for women, until I decided I liked the look and ordered a pair of men's navy blue Champions. I am extremely pleased with the look and fit of them. They feel true to size and width. I can wear them either with or without socks fit fine both ways (they do look better without). They do have some arch support to add to the comfort. A great casual sneaker that goes with anything and looks good doing it. I like the 2nd pair of laces and think the light blue look better rather than the white.

I really like these shoes quite a bit. They look and feel great when they fit correctly. I do have one issue however, I have two pairs that fit differently. One is bigger in the left shoe and one is bigger in the right shoe. I think quality control is slacking a little bit at Keds, and that is quite unfortunate.

I really like these for the style factor. The navy color looks really sharp. Definitely a great value at this price. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a canvas sneaker.

From prior versions of the men's champion, this is a definite upgrade. Prior versions of the shoe had a narrow toe box, and construction seemed a little amiss and not comfortable. I have a 'normal' width foot, and it felt cramped even without wearing socks. In 2014, Keds re-vamped the champion, giving it a slightly wider toe box which in my opinion significantly changes the visual profile of the shoe, while making it much more comfortable to wear. The size seems to be a little off still. I know i am a 10, but needed to order a 9.5.
