I got these for my two-year-old (who has freakishly wide feet), and they are awesome. The size 10 fit at the upper end of perfect, so we got 11's to make sure they'd last all summer. The Venice is amazing. My only complaint is that I had to add velcro to the strap so that they wouldn't fall off at the ankles (his ankles were too small for the length of velcro on the strap). Also, like all kids Keens, they run a little short and a fair bit wide (which I use to my advantage where there is almost NOTHING cute for my kid who measures a 2XW in StrideRite). Great price, well made, will last and stay looking great, AND Zappos has awesome customer service!

These are the 2nd pair of Venice H2 sandals I have purchased. They are sturdy and protect little toes. They are perfect for kids with a wide foot.

We love these sandals so much that I also ordered the next size up for when my son outgrows his first pair. My 2 year old measures extra wide and this shoe fits nicely. I think it would also be OK for kids with normal or wide feet. I felt this sandal was a bit wider than the other popular version, the Newport H2. I also like the fact that the heel part is closed, not a strap like the Newport H2. You can't go wrong with this sandal for the summer for an active boy. Only downside is that they don't make half sizes. I suggest ordering down since it feels a half size larger than marked.

I love these Keen shoes. I have a pair and I couldn't rob the opportunity for my son to love keen sandals as well. My son loves these shoes and I will be planning in the next few months to pick up two more pair for my twin 2 year old girls. Love Keen and their product as well as Zappos. Zappos is by far the easiest company to deal with and great people as well. Keep up the great job Zappos.

This is our second year buying Keens. I love that my son starts wearing them in the spring with socks and continues to wear them all summer with bare feet. They see us through water features, sand play, hikes, biking, etc. I love that the toes are protected, but the rest of the shoe provides ventilation. If we have had a messy day, I simply hose them off and let them air dry and they are ready to play in the next day. You would be hard pressed to find a little boy in the area that does not own a pair of these great shoes.

We've purchased Keens as the only sandal for both of our kids (boy and girl) for multiple summers. They could wear them forever if they didn't grow out of them! The kids love them, they go in, and out of the water easy...we just pretty much live in them all summer (mommy does, too)! I wasn't sure I liked the strap on these ones as much as the ones in previous years, because I like to buy the shoes a little big and the strap seemed too long when pulled snugly to my kiddos' feet...but I still love them!

Just got these in the mail & son is thrilled. When I told him these could go from sand to ocean to park to climbing to camping, his eyes lit up w possibilities. They are super cool looking (can't say 'cute' bc son is 5!) & will be great for long summers bc of toe protection but breathablility of a sandal. He is still having some issues putting them on himself but it's bc when he unstraps the shoe the top strap comes out of the little hooked fabric that keeps it down. Then I need to thread it back thru for him. Other than that they are perfect!! I was very worried about the sizing as I ordered him a 12 based on the size chart but then was confused by reviews. He is wearing a 12.5 in Stride Rites. Luckily they fit him perfectly. Please use the size chart & measure you kid\'s foot! You can't go by the reviews bc some said too small, some said too big!

Tough shoe survived all summer with my little shoe destroyer. This shoe is sturdy! We live on a lake and this shoe was worn daily in and out of the water. Was perfect for my little guy who goes back and forth between the lake and running around the yard. His feet were well protected from sharp rocks and any glass that may be on the lake bottom, and they had enough support that he didn't need to change shoes if he decided to get out and ride his bike or play soccer or climb trees. These shoes really got a workout, but are still in great shape. Great investment if you typically enjoy the ability to use 'hand-me-downs' in your family. I'm guessing these would survive 3 summers with ease. Another bonus: no stinky feet with these.

This is our standard summer shoe for our toddler - Because it has a covered toe and breathable design. It is super sturdy and provides good sole support. Best of all-- we can throw it right into the laundry. I am sure we will keep buying these for my son until he can buy his own!

Great Shoes! This is the second year I've bought these for my son. They were the only shoes he wore last summer and I'm expecting the same this year. They are rugged and great for play on land or water. Also, I've had great results with machine washing these when they start to smell.

A nearly indestructible shoe. Well made, sturdy, and washable. Yes, they can get smelly, but there are so many other strong points of this shoe, that I don't mind scrubbing the mud off them and tossing them in the washer periodically. This style has the velcro closure at the ankle, which, while much more convenient than the Newports that don't have this easy-on/off feature, tended to rub my son's ankle bone at first. I haven't noticed this recently, so they must have softened up a bit. They're still a bit clunky and this could be a problem for toddlers or other little kids just learning to walk or run. When my son was 2 he tended to trip more in his Newports than in his other shoes. But as the size increases, the clownish proportions diminish. In all, a great shoe.

Wonderful - We had to cut off the waterproof tag because it would catch his skin when putting on the shoes, but after that, they're perfect. Rugged, great looks, and very comfortable (now).

Great shoe for active toddlers - I just got the Keen Kids Venice H2 for my 4 year-old son and I couldn't be happier! My son loves them and is the only kind of shoe he wants to wear, we had washed them and they look as good as new, my son finds them to be very comfortable and we are thinking of buying more of this brand for the winter and when he goes to school. As always the service with Zappos is great, now when I see shoes on TV or on the magazines, the first thing I do is to check if Zappos has them so I can buy them there, I don't buy shoes anywhere else.

Great shoe - I just bought a pair for both of my boys ages 2 and 3. They have been great. I was really looking for a summer shoe that could handle all the rough play that little boys enjoy. It has all the qualities I wanted in one shoe. It was worth the money to get this shoe verses a water shoe, athletic shoe, and sandal with a covered toe... My husband even asked for a pair after he saw the boy's sandals...

So comfortable - I bought a pair for myself and now have my mother in law, husband, and both sons in them. My youngest broke out in a rash and I am trying to troubleshoot that now. I haven't heard of it with anyone else, though, so don't worry. My son has sensitive skin anyway so if your child does also, this is a notice to you. OH- my sons and I all have flat feet. These shoes are great sandals for us.

Great boy summer sandal - I bought these shoes for my twin 5 year old boys. We go camping a lot during the summer months. The boys were able to hike, swim, and run around the campsite easily. I threw them in the wash when we returned and they look great!

Love this shoe! This is the shoe to buy. They look great on my son and are very comfortable. They do run wide which is great for me because my son has a wide foot and they do run about 1 size smaller than Stride Rite which is what he normally wears, so be sure to order a size larger when you buy these shoes.

Great shoes for active kids. I've had several pairs of these and they're great for bike riding (and dragging your toes), running, playing in the sand- anything. Ours go in the washing machine quite often. The only complaint is the food odor, but I think any sandal will do that.

My 2 yr old enjoys wearing these shoes despite a few blisters in the beginning. They're great everyday shoes to wear to the playground, school, etc. Very happy they can go in the wash because they do tend to smell bad after a few days of wear!

I've always thought Keen shoes have a bulbous toe, designed for wide feet, but I do like the style so I took a chance. My son is between a 7 and 8 right now so I ordered the Keen Venice in a size 8. They fit well for length, with some room to grow, but not too much. However, the front of the shoe, the toe box is ridiculously wide. I have to send them back b/c my son's feet are swimming in the front of the shoe.

I like the shoes a lot. My 4 year old can easily put them on himself. Only downfall is we have only had them 2 weeks and they smell! He is only 4 and has never had smelly feet before. Every other year we have done Crocs and no smell.

My almost two year old has large wide feet and Keens have been working well for him. I actually bought him a smaller pair of these sandals at Nordstrom, and more recently bought these for when he outgrows the smaller ones. They are also pretty easy to put on.
