Super comfy but the narrow was too wide. Love the shoe and the soft base, but had to return.

I was looking for a sandal to wear to work and walk the NYC streets, and I wanted them to look cute but have a good sole and not kill my feet. These are actually perfect! I was afraid they would not be cute/stylish enough, but somewhat surprisingly they are. I got the tan color and my feet hide the white sole pretty well -- they are cute sandals. The sole is very comfy and my feet feel supported. For the price you can't beat these.

Pretty but very small and I ordered a wide width, so order a half to full size up maybe, unless your feet are small and narrow.

These are SO comfy and true to size. I love the red color and they look cute with a summery dress or with jeans. The wheezing noise thing is totally true, and since it's winter currently, I haven't gotten that to go away yet. I do think once they break in it will probably go away, but they're comfortable otherwise. :-D

I searched for some comfortable strappy casual sandals in all the stores before I went on the Internet. These looked good but I was skeptical about buying shoes online. I called and spoke to a very pleasant Zappos service representative. She gave me the information I needed and even placed the order. When my sandals arrived I was delighted. They were well made, quality leather and so comfortable. Just what I was looking for. 5-stars for customer service, the perfect shoes, and the quick delivery!

I have wide "Fred Flintstone" feet & sandals are hard to find. These fit very comfortably. The cushioned insole is a little noisy. First pair of Bass footwear I have owned in a quarter century. Happy I bought them.

I love Bass sandals. I have this Margie style in black and Cinnamon. I am exchanging this tan size 8 1/2 pair for a size 8. When I tried the 8 1/2 pair on it felt like a size size 9. Perhaps it was mislabeled in production? It is too long and very loose. Strange, since all my other Bass sandals fit me perfectly; I've been wearing them since I was 12 years old; go Bass! Thanks Zappos for accepting returns up to a year and for still having this sandal in stock!

I have been wearing this style Bass shoe for 20 years, love them and love that they come in a narrow size.

I have a very wide foot and have a hard time finding shoes to fit. These fit great and are very comfortable.

I would love to keep these but, unfortunately, they are not wide at all. I couldn't begin to get my foot in them.

I ordered these in black in the wide width and they fit perfectly. I use them as my go to sandal for summer. I dress them up for work and down for weekends. I'm not crazy about the look of the sole but it is extremely comfortable. As someone who lives in New York and walks several miles a day, I can vouch for the sheer comfort of these. No blisters, no aching feet.

Very comfortable. I have foot issues and the footbed on this shoe is cushy and soft and flexes well. It does make a little noise at first (air escaping from between the sole and the footbed) but it is not distracting and will go away after you've worn them for a while. Straps are comfortable and somewhat adjustable.

I love these sandals! I have looked everywhere for this style and noone had them -- except Zappos. The quality of the shoe is wonderful and delivery time was fantastic. I will use Zappos again and again.

These shoes are so comfy! Given the price, I was sincerely amazed at how nice they felt. The straps are nice, supple leather (although somewhat thin), and the footbed is very cushy. I got the cinnamon color and they're maybe a little bit darker than the picture looks on my computer. There isn't much arch support, but the cushiness of the foodbed might make up for it to a certain extent if your arches aren't extreme. The width I think probably runs a bit narrow. I got the regular width and it actually fits my narrow feet really well, so if your feet are wider you may want to consider going up a width. I had to have the strap buckle at the lowest hole, but the straps feel like they may stretch over time due to the aforementioned thin leather, so I don't mind that at all. These shoes do make a very audible whooshing noise as you walk, as other people have said, and it does NOT appear to be diminishing at all the more I wear them. Both shoes do it, and since it sounds like all of these of shoes do it I didn't bother returning them. It's not all that bad, especially if you know to expect it, and if it DOES end up stopping sometime in the future it will be a pleasant surprise! After reading the other reviews, I went down a half size and got an 8.5 instead of my usual 9 and they *just* fit, but in a good way. I've worn them all over the place, including dashing up and down staircases, and I have not had ANY incidences of my toes or heel coming off the sandal at all, so I think going down a half size is appropriate. If you have strong feelings about having lots of space in front of your toes, though, it probably won't be a disaster if you go with your normal size.

These are very comfortable. I have a high arch and am always concerned about a flat sandal. No problems. The first day I wore them was to a beach wedding, so there was a lot of walking and standing. I had no issues with them, even with a foot that often causes problems after a lot of standing.

I bought these right before a trip to Spain where I knew I'd be walking a lot. They were very comfortable right from the beginning! At first I ordered a 7.5 N because that's what I usually wear. I ended up exchanging them for a 1/2 size larger - they just seemed a little short. They made a little sound when I walked - like a squish of air coming out. It bothered my son, but not me!

Bass sandals are the only sandals I wear! For years I've trusted in their comfort, fit and reliability.

These were super comfortable and cute! They match lots of outfits, and I broke them in right away. I also have wide feet, and the wide size was perfect for me. I would definitely recommend this as a versatile sandal for anyone.

A simple, comfy shoe. I wore them walking all over Chicago right after I bought them. The straps are a bit short and the fit is snug, but I figure that the leather will stretch a bit. I am considering getting another pair.

I have worn Bass Margies for over 10 years; new ones every couple of years. They are great sandals, comfortable, easy on and easy off. I always have them in three colors.

Very comfortable sandal. I had to get a much wider width than I usually get, but the extra width made them more comfortable.

Once again, I received great service on the shoes that I ordered. I did have to send one pair back and it was so easy and Zappos refunded me quickly. Can't say enough about this great place. I have a very wide foot and Zappos makes it possible for me to have shoes that are in style and fit!
