Walking on Air - Margie's are the most comfortable, yet stylish, looking casual sandals I've ever purchased. The only problem is: for a AA width, the straps could be just a little bit tighter.

a bit long. I ordered these sandals. They are very comfortable BUT they are long. I ordered a size 7 and could have gotten by with 6-1/2, however I am not paying shipping to return. I like the suede soles so they don't amke that "fwack-fwack-fwack" noise all day!

This shoes are really comfortable and cute. However, it was too narrow so that I had to return it.

I just received these shoes (in black) in size 7 and 7.5. I am normally in between sizes but ended up reordering because even the 7.5 was a tad too small. I also ordered narrow, which fit perfectly. They are cute and comfy and am looking forward to receiving the size 8's.

I just returned this as it is not true to size. It is too short. I ordered 11N but need 11.5N. My foot just fits on the foot bed. Otherwise great shoe.

I really wanted to love these shoes, but I was very disappointed! If your feet are on the wider side, and I'm not even talking very wide, than those shoes arent for you. Sadly I had to return them

I thought that the quality of the straps would be better due to the Bass brand, but it looks a bit cheesy. However, no one really gets on the ground to look at the straps in other people's shoes, so it's okay.

They're comfortable enough but my foot seems to slide around in them a lot, making my little toes poke through the straps, which is annoying. I probably wouldn't buy these again.

Nothing special about these shoes. I was hoping for just a basic walking shoe, but they were quite uncomfortable so I sent them back. My normal size (6M) was just a hair too tight.

These sandals remind me of the white ones from when I was a girl, but more grown-up. They are basically comfortable in that they are soft and cushy, but I have to crank the strap around my ankle to keep them from slipping off my heel, and they still want to slip. I find myself lifting a foot up every so often to pull the strap back in place. If I hadn't already worn them outside, I would have returned them.

Sizing seems a little off--I usually wear medium width in sandals, but I couldn't even get my forefoot into these--and I ordered them in wide! The footbed was also longer than I was expecting. I didn't feel the shoe was as delicate and attractive in person, either. However, the footbed does feel pretty cushy, if you can get your foot into it. Unfortunately, I cannot, so I'll be returning these. Thanks for your great return policy, Zappos! These didn't work for me, but I'll definitely be shopping here again.

These sandels look great, but can be difficult to walk in. They tend to flop around on my feet and my heels are not held very securely.

A little disappointed! After years of looking at these sandals and thinking how comfortable they look, I found them in my size at Zappos and quickly ordered a pair. I have to say I was somewhat disappointed to find that they're not as comfortable as they look and definitely cannot compare to the comfort of a Clarks sandal. I did keep them, however, because they were the only casual white sandal in my size that fit me and looked pretty good. Note that I am over 50 and have foot problems (bunions, hammertoes, falling arch, wear orthotics), but my feet start to hurt way earlier than when I have my Clarks on.

Nice shoe, sloppy fit - I'm an average size 6, but the front straps on this sandal are too loose by at least 1/4-1/2", so my foot slips forward and my toes are on the pavement when I walk. The sole was just right, so you might want to buy a narrow if you have a small-ish foot.

Bass's Margie. I own several pairs of Bass's Margie and wear them year round. My complaint is that they do not make them narrow enough for me. I think a perfect solution would be to add two adjustable straps.

As much as I wanted these to work, they didn't. My feet are somewhat wide, so I got them in a W. When they arrived, they fit like a M. The Wide is not wide at all. I was able to squeeze my feet in but my pinkie toe would fall out. I would definitely recommend going up a width if you are concerned (i.e. if your feet are narrow, you can probably fit medium). I can also understand how, as previous reviewers have mentioned, the leather straps seems hard and sharp. The decorative lines embossed in the straps are also more prominent in person. But in spite of all this, I think the worst part about this sandal was by far the SOUND. The way the sole is cushioned makes a very noticeable whooshing noise with every step (imagine the sound of sitting on those cushioned toilet seats -- it's just like that). I know that not every sandal makes the noise, but both of mine did (compared to my Bass Joanne, only one of them makes the noise). It's really not tolerable, not to mention they didn't fit, so I had to return these. Sad!

I had high hopes for these shoes, based on all of the good reviews; however, I am disappointed after trying them out for a week. I do have a shoe size 11, so I think the straps didn't scale up well - they felt huge and my foot slid around a lot. I was not securely buckled into the shoe at all and I worried about taking a misstep and twisting my ankle. Also, these shoes are air cushioned, and every time I took a step I sounded like a bellows! It was hugely embarrassing walking in these around my quiet office, or into a quiet elevator. I think I could have gotten over the straps being a bit big if it weren't for the fact that everyone could hear me coming a mile away. I'm hugely disappointed in these sandals, doubly so because I passed up deals on brands that I know I like (like Born) to purchase these. Thank God for Zappos and their amazing return policy!

These feel literally like walking on air! Unfortunately, you can hear the sound of air with every step. That would drive me nuts. I had to return them.

After reading reviews, I have to agree with others who said Bass Margie was too small. I ordered my size (11W) and after wearing for 1 day around house, will have to return them. The width was not wide and my little toe hung out of the straps. The sole was very narrow even though it was supposed to be wide width. It' a nice looking shoe but most definitely not true to size. Too bad!

The footbed was soft and comfortable, but the straps fit weirdly, and very uncomfortably. I put them on and immediately knew that I would send them back.

The shoe makes a "whoosh" sound with each step. I can wear them in loud places, I suppose! Although I need them for a vacation I will be keeping them and not returning them. I actually need a half size which is not made. This size is too small, next size up is way too big.

I've worn this brand before and really liked the soft cushion of the sandal, but was unable to find this brand in any stores. I was excited when I discovered they could be purchased online. My first order was for a medium-width sandal (my normal size). It was way too tight. So I returned them and ordered the wide width. It is still too tight. I've been trying to stretch them by wearing them, but the way the straps cross my foot, they are very uncomfortable. Zappos does honor the no shipping cost, for which I'm grateful. But I'm sorry I spent the money on sandals that do not fit well.

I had these sandals before in the same exact size -- 9.5 narrow. I ordered 2 new sandals in black and white, but I had to send them back. They are no longer narrow like they were last year.
