I ordered the metallic sandals in a half size smaller than my normal size; they are still a little loose. I then ordered the "cinnamon" color in a whole size smaller and they are way too small. So I guess for the metallic, order 1 whole size smaller, and the solid colors 1/2 size smaller. Hope this helps someone out there...

I ordered the Bass Margie in 2 different sizes just to be thorough. Neither the 6.5 nor 7 was workable. The stitching on the side of the straps that contacts the wearer's skin is abrasive and the bed of the shoe flops up and down chaotically while I walk, no matter how tight or loose I adjust the straps. The amount of cushioning seemed good and the overall quality fine, but these didn't even come close to working for me as I had hoped.

These shoes are great for the price. They are comfortable and come in WW sizes. I have some qualms though. The leather straps stretch so much that even a snug fit will eventually be loose. And this wouldn't be so bad except for the fact that the soles are kind of heavy so they almost hang off my feet sometimes. Also the bed of the shoe shouldn't be beige. They get dirty really, really easily. It's hard to be picky though considering they come in my size.

I really liked the style and soft leather of these sandals, but they were just too big. The straps were pretty loose even on the tightest-buckle setting. Too bad, because finding cute and comfortable sandals is tough!

I liked the style and relative comfort of the padded insole; however, the strapping was too lose and my foot kept sliding forward in it. Considering I ordered a narrow width, they were not very narrow.

I thought that these sandals would cover a little more of my feet, and it's just my personal preference. The ankle straps' buckles seemed a little insecure even at a tighter setting. Otherwise, they're attractive sandals with comfortable foot beds and seem true to size. They could be worn with summer dresses, short, and capris.

I bought these hoping they'd be a relatively cute yet comfortable shoe for all the walking I'd be doing on my European honeymoon. My feet are pretty much normal width, a bit wide. Before leaving I wore them to run errands in the neighborhood to break them in and ended up with the worst blister of my life on bone at the side of the base of my big toe. I hobbled for almost two weeks. Such a bummer because I couldn't return them as I wore them outside but will never be able to wear again. If you have narrow feet, I would recommend them. The sole is super squishy and the leather straps are soft, but if your feet are the least bit wide, go get the leather Keens instead (which is what I brought and happily walked in for miles on the honeymoon).

The black floral sandals are incredibly cute. But, even though I have average width feet, the fit was cramped. Also, my pinky toe came out the side of the shoe. I did not feel that they were true to size, because I ordered an 8, which is the size of my larger foot (yes, my feet are half a size different!), but the 8 barely fit. My toes and heel was at the very edge of the footbed. The straps are a bit uncomfortable, but I am sure that they would ease up and conform to your foot quickly. I will be returning these shoes, but wish that I did not have to! Thank you, Zappos, for the unmatched customer service.

A really cute sandal -- very comfortable, but after a year of wear one of the straps broke away from the base of the shoe. I am not hard on shoes, so I think the leather was defective.

Bummer these didn't work as they were comfy! But for some reason they were too short! I wear an 11 narrow normally though some of my shoes are 10 or 10 1/2. I ordered an 11 narrow and my toes are flush with the end of the shoe...normal walking/turning movements send my toes over the edge. Would probably be okay with it if the straps were tighter so my foot stayed in place better. I don't understand why so many narrow sandals make the footbed narrower but leave the straps too wide. Maybe I just have a very flat foot? The shoe did have a lovely padded footbed and I felt they would have been comfortable all day long if they were just a bit snugger/longer. Would size up to a 12 narrow for the length but then I'd have even more wiggle room in the width.

These truly are some comfortable sandals. As for the negatives, I can only say that they were much narrower than advertised, as well as much longer. I had to size down by one whole size, and thankfully the straps stretched out a bit after a few wears. The other negative is that the left cushioned sole wheezes every time I walk! It's annoying, but as comfortable as they are, it's also easily overlooked.

I had originally bought these in a 9 and thought they seemed too short, so I exchanged them for 9½. I have been wearing them a lot, and they are comfortable enough, but 9½ is definitely too big. The leather straps stretch out, but the biggest problem is that the sandals are just too long. I find that the sandals have been subjected to much more wear and tear because of the poor fit. I really wish I had kept the 9.

I kept these shoes. But, they are floppy and the sole is so rigid it does not bend at all. All in all they are not that much money so they are worth it. They are not great, but wearable.

I am returning these because they fit funny. I am a pretty consistent size 9, with a narrow flat foot. The Bass Joanne fits me great and is a great shoe, so I expected this to be similar in fit. The shoe seems narrow, the straps are too tight even though I have small ankles, and my pinky toe pops out the side. I also thought the leather on the Bass Margie was not as high quality as the Bass Joanne. Still, if it fits, this is a good value for a leather shoe that will last.

I ordered these in wide and they were still extremely narrow. However, the length is right and the soles are very comfortable. Also, zappos got them here in less than a day!

These shoes are wonderfully comfortable. I loved the way they fit but unfortunately they made a whooshing sound as air released itself from the shoe with every step I took. It was so annoying that I sadly had to return them.

I loved these shoes, they were very comfortable, true to size and width, but a side strap broke after ten months!

So cute, but the straps cut into my little toe so am sending back. Thank goodness for free shipping!

This is a 2nd replacement pair - the rear strap pulls out of the sole attachment. But they are so comfy and priced right.

This style runs large, especially wide. I found the loose, non-adjustable straps very hard to use; there is not enough holding power with the single buckle adjustment. Love my Bass Joanne sandals, giving away Margies, Very nice leather, good Bass sole for my flatter foot.

Despite other reviewers' suggestions to order narrower than you normally would, I found that the width was true to size--I have a medium/narrow foot and the narrow was too small. the material was cheaper-looking than i expected and like others have noted, the strap cuts across the pinkie toe uncomfortably. also, the first time I tried them on and wore them only for a minute or two to test comfort, the white paint on the leather rubbed off on my foot. Alas.

Bought these in tan, and thought that they would be a more nude color, they were not. They are very wide, and do slip a bit when walking. They give slight blister due to this slippage. found that they are not as dressy as I would have liked as well. But for kicking around the yard or the beach these sandals are great.
