A great comfortable shoe is discontinued!! Why?? This is a continuously alarming trend today, across the board, in all product lines, to discontinue perfectly good products that sell in order to make way for the "new", not necessarily better or good. I only purchased 2 additional pair because you advises they'd be discontinued. My Margies have travelled the world and taken my feet in style and comfort, but obviously Bass has other plans. Perhaps the sales were low, but I'm sure there must be a core group of us who've remained faithful.

versatile! Wearable, versatile, packable for travelling, simplicity of style, comfortable, cushiony, fitting like they were made for me! Glad you still made them. Hadn't seen them around in awhile. Very sorry if they're discontinued...so I immediately bought 3 pair to tide me over.

Bass Margie Sandle - Sandle is the most comfortable pair I have ever owned. Am on my 3rd pair now...and still own the other 2 pairs.

Bass's Margie Sandals are the BEST! I have always liked Bass shoes, and once again, Bass has done it. These sandals are extremely comfortable, and I love the classic style. I especially like the suede bottoms that keep them from being slippery--especially after pedicures. I am going to order them in another color soon. Trust me you will love them!

Extremely happy with this purchase - This is the second pair of this shoe that I have purchased because I love the look and the comfort. You can walk around all day in these.

Comfortable, light, low sandal - It is hard to find a low sandal that doesn't feel chunky. I love the lightness and comfort of this shoe, altho' I would have preferred a black footbed instead of the light suede. I live on a tropical island and will wear this nearly every day.

Most Comfortable - As soon as Zappos notified me that they had the Margie in black, I order it immediately. It is truly one of the most comfortable sandals for me. If anyone is looking for a real comfortable sandal, they should order these and Zappos is the greatest shoe store. I would not hesitate to buy shoes from Zappos again.

Look No More for a Comfortable Sandal - What a great sandal!!! This sandal is probably the most comfortable shoe made. The soft cushion makes it feel like walking on a cloud (at least, that's what I think it would feel like if I ever get a chance to walk on clouds)!!! Sizing was perfect and available in an abundant range of sizes. You'll probably never look for another sandal again unless Bass stops making these.

A Very Comfortable Shoe!! This shoe is soft to walk on and sturdy at the same time. Very cute, but also practical.

Festival shoe - This is a great shoe, very atrractive looking yet good for walking. Two days at Bumbershoot and no sore feet. I had this shoe beofre in tan and wore it for years and years. Unlike many other models of strappy sandal, this one does notcross at uncomfortable places.

Margie-A Winner - I had been looking for a classic white sandal and had no luck in my home shopping area. My daughter had a pair of tan Margies and I loved them on sight. They are comfortable, classic and will last through the heat, humidity, and sun of summer. They are a must for my once in a life time New Year's Carribean cruise this year.!!

Best sandal ever - I had a pair of these sandals for over 15 years and was delighted to be able to replace them. They are comfortable, attractive, easy to get on and off and last a long long time.

Bass Margie - I like the old styling better because the strap that fits into the buckle was a lot longer and more manageable. This new strap is too short, and barely reaches the buckle. Please make the strap longer.

Love your service - I had a previous pair of shoes like this and have been hunting for a replacement pair. I was so happy to find that you had them at a reasonable price. Although the shoes are perfect, I am really impressed with your service. I will buy more shoes from you in the future.

I find the shoe good looking and like the flat style. This can be worn with hose or without and look equally well. (I already had a pair of Bass sandals that are the thong type and these are more versatile.

Very comfortable and WIDE enough! Love the shoe! It fit right the first time I tried it on which is really saying something for my feet! I have the hardest time finding seasonable shoes that are wide enough for me and that look like something someone my age would actually wear. Zappos is my only shoe source now because I can always find something that fits.

Great Sandals, Great Service - I just love my Margie sandals, I had some about 15 years ago and they gave out 2 years ago. I was so surprised and delighted to see them on Zappos. When I received my shoes there was one size nine and one size ten. I called customer service and recieved the correct shoes the nest day! (even before I sent the wrong ones back) That's excellent service! I certainly will purchase from Zappos again.

Comfort plus - I have had this sandal for over 20 years and it has taken much abuse. It is by far my most comfortable piece of footwear.

Margie - shoe review - I originally bought this shoe from a Bass shoe outlet in Conway, NH. Because it was so durable and comfortable, when I saw it offered by Zappo, I immediately ordered two pairs. My feet are impossible to fit since they are not only very small but also very wide at the toe and narrow at the heel. I can wear a sandal in a child's size 2 1/2 providing it is wide enough. I also have a very high instep which adds to the problem. I have only found 3 styles in my life (I'm 61) which are comfortable. One style was by Dexter and isn't being made anymore and the Margie and the Dexter Buoy are the other two styles. I was delighted with both the purchases and the promptness with which my order was filled.
