Drew Delight - Black 8 1/2 WW - True, these are not stilletos! But that is not why we are buying them. Right, ladies? Out of the box (and on blind faith!) these took me through nine hours of work -- standing in place, up and down steep narrow staircases, and hiking 3 miles on gravel/cobble stone/dirt hills! No socks, not a raw spot, nor a blister! Selected because of my difficult wide (and flat) feet, bunions, extra weight, and need for a generous toe box. They fit the demand of my dress code at work where I am on my feet all day at an historic estate, indoors and outside in various terrain and weather. There is fabric behind the mesh, avoiding tacky peeking toes, while still maintaining 'breathe-ability.' Rubbery insole is removable. Material used keeps foot odor at bay. In the first wearing they quickly became my go-to shoes, outpacing a very nice pair of New Balance. I'm on now to order them in beige as we transition to our spring/summer wardrobe. If the strap fits snuggly I am certain that a cobbler (or friend with a sewing machine) could easily add length to the band.

Great shoe - I buy these shoes for my daughter who wears an 11-1/2EE. She loves them. They are comfortable and cute. I would recommend these shoes to people who have feet that are difficult to fit.

Love ‘em! Best pair of shoes I have purchased in ages. Extremely comfortable and a lot of toe room. They are my new "every day" shoe and have helped relieve some pain from my plantar fasciitis.

Satisfied - I broke them in for 3 hours my first wearing and have comfortably worn them for 8 hours today!

Nice option - I bought this shoe for my mother-in-law who needed a shoe that offered support but who still wanted something cute and stylish. This shoe fit the bill and the velcro closing works for her as her feet swell at times.

Great shoe - Broke my arm and was unable to lace my shoes, so went to Zappos and searched for a Mary Jane with the hook and loop enclosure. Received these on Friday and knew the moment I tried them on they were a winner. They are very comfy, with or without a sock. Feels like I do not have shoes on. And the hook and loop closure is ideal. Thank you Drew and Zappos.

Fantastic casual shoe - These truly are "Delights". Light weight, comfortable and secure. I have some foot drag which is not a problem in these shows but neither are they slippery. I hesitated to pay the price but they are worth every penny. A little hard to buckle with back problems but worth the effort.

Soft, soft - I love these shoes! It is a mix between Mary Janes and tennis shoes. They are plenty wide enough for my feet, too, and my lift fits inside nicely.

Wow - Comfortable Shoe - Well done - here's to the most comfortable shoe that is not a sneaker. It is like walking on air, you do not even know you have the shoes on, yet they will accommodate an orthotic.

Of the dozens of shoes I have tried in the search for a not too frumpy but supportive, or at least able to accommodate orthotics and be comfortable, these almost hit the mark. I have a protruding bone( not quite a bunion) that these fit without cutting into , the heel didn't slip and they look halfway cute . Unfortunately, the strap, which makes them feel secure, has no cushioning and cuts I to the top of the foot when tightened to where they need to be. Even if I were to add some padding on the underside of the strap, the footbed is quite hard even with my padded orthotics. The stretchy nature of the mesh shoe body is comfortable and allowed the toes to not feel pressed. I ordered these in a 10.5 M and it worked; 10.5 M or 11N are my standard sizes.

The shoe was kind of old fashioned looking but comfortable. It ran large and it felt clumsy on my foot. I am returning it.

I HAD TO RETURN AS MY AFO'S FIT BUT COULD NOT GET MY FOOT IN. TOE BOX NEEDS TO BE BIGGER AND SHOE NEEDS TO BE DEEPER.

I bought these for my 90 year old mother. Easy to put on and off. Extra room for swelling.

When I finally found this style in my size I was thrilled amd bought a pair. I have huge knoby feet with bunions and was delighted to find they fit right out of the box. My delight turned to disappointment, however, when I discovered that the sole and construction is not that of a sneaker/fitness shoe with strap as I had imagined. Rather the sole/cushioning is almost as thin as a regular flat dress shoe.

I was looking for a sneaker that I could wear with black slacks at large conferences (lots of walking). They aren't high-fashion, but they also don't scream "SNEAKER!" Not too clunky, the mary jane style makes them a little dressier than lace-up sneaks, especially if you wear them with a slightly flared or boot cut pant leg. I’ve worn them a couple times with no problems (rubbing, etc) and no break-in period.

These are nice looking shoes that work for casual and slightly dressy outfits. An orthotic insert can be used. The only glitch for me was the strap rubbed against the tendon on the top of ankle.

The brown Delites are a delight but run very long. They seem to be a half size larger than marked. I will try to get these in a smaller size, but at this time they're not available. They fit orthotics well.

It's hard to find a shoe with support, comfort and a bit of cute. Pluses: removable insole and room for my orthotics, plenty of toe room, and that cute thing. Minus: the Velcro closure is convenient but why do so many shoes with the wrap over Velcro strap have the grabby part of the Velcro hanging out to catch every bit of thread that passes by?

I purchased this for my Mother who has both stability issues and bunions, which make the ball of her feet very wide. These fit the bill. They are easy for her to get on and off, have no heel, and are wide enough for her feet. The look is a little clunky, but they are an improvement over most old lady shoes on the market.

I needed walking shoes for an overseas trip. I think they will fit the bill - I've worn them to work and they are comfortable. I need a WW width, and they are wide enough, a rarity. They are not so cute, but are comfortable and have good support, so support wins over looks.

Nice looking shoes; not a bad fit, but my heels did slip and the fabric straps didn't look like they would last as long as the shoe. Also, the soles are too smooth to provide traction on slippery surfaces. The toe box is not as roomy as other reviewers indicated.

This shoe fits well even though it is a bit larger than expected. I purchased it with some New Balance tennis shoes which I have been purchasing for years. The sizing is at least a half size larger that the New Balance brand. They are very cute and I wear them with socks so they work for me. My next pair will be purchased smaller.

They are a little tight over the top of the foot (could be due to bunions) but after wearing them for a short while, they are fine.

Well made shoe. Excellent choice of colors. The only "con" was the length of the strap. Just not long enough for my foot.
